The middle chapters stars Amelia the Kraken and her husband the Ringmaster who haven’t seen each other in 10 years. Their reunion is like a sweet fantasy story hence the reason the chapters are titled The Little Mermaid. It may halt the plot line but it’s so cute and a bit heartbreaking it works. We also get two new characters who may or may not be important down the line. This manga continues to be a whiff of fresh air in the romance line of stories. It’s kinda sexy, kinda funny but balances it seriously and wholesomely. A bonafide unspoken classic in the making.

Amelia and the Ringmaster are finally reunited after 10 years apart. Their chapters were bittersweet, and I hope they'll be able to meet again in a future volume.
The plot is moving along nicely, and we are getting closer to finding out how to break the Duke's curse.
