I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

We Are Not Alone is a non-fiction book about all things UFO, including past history and present day sightings, findings, and reports.
I've always been fascinated with UFOs and believe there is life within this vast universe we inhabit that we don't know about yet. This was such a great book and would be perfect for anyone starting out with an interest in this information and for study.
I was pleasantly surprised with some cases in this book I'd not heard of along with many I had as I love reading new information on subjects like this.

A fantastic collection of weird sightings and encounters with UFOs and the creatures that come along with them.

You get a lot of the classic cases that most familiar with the subject matter will recognize; Roswell, Betty and Barney Hill, Rendlesham, etc. But you also get more current and up to the current day and time sightings and some I hadn't heard of before which is nice.

Overall a nice repository of info on the UFO phenomenon that I enjoyed reading quite a bit.

This book is for anyone who has ever questioned if we are truly alone in the universe.

We Are Not Alone is presented objectively by the author. All claims of intelligent non-human/alien life in space or elsewhere on the Earth are supported by documentation, eyewitness accounts, and photographic evidence.

The chapters are systematic and well-described:

- Cover-ups and plots, such as those surrounding the Area 51 and Roswell incidents.

- UFO sightings; ranged from the well-known (such as the Phoenix Lights and the Ariel School Incident) to the obscure.

- Alien abductions; such as the ones that happened to Betty and Barney Hill and in Pascagoula.

- Ancient aliens; such as the alien builders of the pyramids and Biblical astronauts.

- Reports from the government and military, including Project Blue Book and accounts of UFO sightings near nuclear weapons installations.

- Scientific proof, such as the interstellar 'Oumuamua object and the "Wow!" radio signal.

Even if it is obvious that we cannot draw a firm conclusion concerning UFOs from the reading, the book is entertaining and well worth reading.

It is informative, backed up by data, and a wonderful starting point for people who want to understand more about the UFO phenomenon.

From ancient Japan to modern day America sightings of unknown flying objects are plentiful and in this book the author tells us about a lot of them. From ammature skywatchers to NASA scientist and many others have seen these flying objects and yet there is still those among us who say aliens are not real to believe we are alone in the universe is hubris at best and ignorant at worst but to each their own this is a great book and it’s not even a complete retelling of all the sightings that have been documented. Even the great Bent Franklin seen an unidentified flying object in the sky many respectable people have given their affidavits now when people say that they don’t believe aliens exist it makes me think one they don’t keep up with the news and two they’re pretty damn ignorant. Although the book doesn’t go into great detail on any one story the stories are plentiful and there’s a great starter guide for any beginning alien enthusiast. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it I want to think Net galley and the publisher for my free art copy please forgive any mistakes as I am blind the dictate my review.

An interesting look at whether or not aliens and UFO’s exist. The author presents a good case with plenty of unexplained cases where the officials could not explain away the sighting. The author provides a vast amount of information to allow the reader to make the determination for themselves.

Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I won hardback copies of this book from the publisher. It's a nice book with color illustrations.
I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about aliens, but this book does a nice job of remaining objective and presenting the history of UFOs around the world. It makes you think.

Fascinating book! Marc has done extensive research on all aspects of the UFO phenomena. Even if you’re a skeptic or never had much interest in UFO’s, this book draws you in. It broadened my view of the universe and humanity.

Interesting read. So much info it was almost overwhelming, but not in a bad way. I enjoyed hearing of peoples accounts of sightings and abductions.

A fantastic repository of UFO encounters in the modern era charting the advent of the flying saucer phenomenon in the 1950s and Roswell to the flying triangles of the late 80s to the AATIP videos and official government recognition of UAPs in the 2020s, Marc Hartzman reviews all the greatest hits of UFOlogy and offers up some lesser-known creatures and sightings too.

This is a great introduction to a vast subject matter and introduces plenty of extra reading on these close encounters. Questioning in tone but never derogatory or mocking, Hartzman lays it all out for the reader and lets us decide.

The best parts of this one with the more modern encounters including Avi Loeb’s hypothesis on ‘Oumuamua, the AATIP videos, and the increasing realisation that despite the sceptics’ mockery, there are indeed UAPs and they’re here to stay. Now, the real questions can finally be asked.
