The book, "Project X521" by Sahil Sharma sci-fi thriller with a taste of mythology and genetic engineering. The story follows Vikram, an agent of WAR, India's external intelligence agency, who finds sources of a terrible thing and gathers evidence to uncover the truth. Unfortunately, his investigation leads to his brutal demise.

After much searching and secret investigations, a shocking truth is revealed;a dangerous creature is being created to destroy India. To combat this threat, WAR Secretary Ashwin Sharma joins forces with intelligence officers to find a solution.

What I loved about this book is how it beautifully connects science with nature, energy, and vibrations. The team's dedication is truly inspiring, showcasing the depth of their love for the nation, and the importance of protecting their motherland.

The storytelling is engaging, and I was hooked from start to finish. While I didn't appreciate the repeated use of certain words, which made some sentences feel overly complex, the plot and ending more than made up for it. The appearance of a tall, human-like figure in the last page has left me eager for more and i sense this might not be the end of the story!

Overall, I highly recommend Project X521 to fans of science fiction and mythology.

This gripping thriller delves into a chilling conspiracy with roots in Nazi Germany. It delivers a wild blend of mythology, science fiction, and espionage, taking you on an intense ride from the start. The plot kicks off with a secret genetic experiment tied to Nazi-era science and quickly spirals into a high-stakes mission involving India's intelligence agency.

The writing is fast-paced, packed with twists that keep you guessing, but what really shines is the mix of historical intrigue with futuristic science. The author skillfully weaves a complex narrative exploring themes of genetic engineering, espionage, and the enduring consequences of historical atrocities. The characters are well-developed, with Arjun, the determined intelligence officer, and the enigmatic professor, forming a compelling duo. The world-building is impressive, creating a believable and suspenseful atmosphere.

Overall, it's an exciting, edge-of-your-seat read that leaves you thinking about power, history, and the dangerous line between science and control. If you're into mythological thrillers with a modern twist, this one’s for you!

This book is Full sci-fi, mystery, suspense, and action with the tadka of Indian mythology or I should say our ancient science which is yet unknown to us.

We all are aware of the war between India and Pakistan but this war is something else something beyond that we have never imagined.

With the help of some Nazi German scientists Pakistani agency made something unimaginable and undefeatable, when the Indian Elite special forces failed to counter these threats.
They took the help of a professor of ancient science. So here comes a combination of modern and ancient science.

First of all hats off to the author, I can't even imagine. From where did he get so much knowledge?
From our modern world to ancient life.

The way this book progresses hand in hand with the perfect blend of both worlds is something unique and good. You get to know and experience more about something you have never thought of.

Then there's a chapter in the book in which when our science and modern technology weren't able to cure the person ancient science do the magic in a week or so.
And it feels so good to read something like that. I didn't even want this book to end but sadly it ends with a little suspense.

And the last lines
Arjun: "Why are you smiling, Professor?"
Professor: That's a story for another time."

and I knew there is something more.
and now I'm very intrigued to read about it, that what is going to happen now?
I am always a mythological freak and this book is something that I always wanted so this book is a thumbs up for me.

An exhilarating sci-fi tale about suppressing a Pakistani threat.

••INSIGHT: Project X521 is about an intelligence agency that tries to find out about secret experiments happening in Pakistan. As they gather more information, the intelligence officers come to know about the sinister nature of those experiments. Then one of the officers and a professor join hands and decide to form a powerful team to combat the threats from Pakistan. Will the team and the Indian military succeed? What kind of challenges do they face?

••REVIEW: The book starts with a good hook and gives a picture of what it’s about. The story moves along quickly and doesn’t bore you. Sci-fi themes were used in the story, the genetics, different creatures, etc. In addition to that, mythology references also exist in the book. This combination keeps the readers engaged. It’s a short book and it can completed in one or two sittings. However, the book contains generic and 1-dimensional characters. And more description in certain scenes would have enhanced the reading experience.

••STRENGTH: 1. Interesting premise.
2. Story’s Fast pacing.
3. Smart fusion of mythology and science.
4. The book’s title and cover are intriguing and generate interest in the readers.
5. Thrilling moments exist in the book.

••WEAKNESS: 1. Lack of strong characters in the story.
2. Some scenes required more description.

••TARGET READERS: This book is ideal for people between the age group of 18-30 and sci-fi lovers.

••GENRE: Mythology and Sci-fi

Project X521 is Indian mythos science fiction thriller with features of espionage amidst tension between India and Pakistan. The plot of the novel successfully combines elements of traditional folklore with futuristic motifs, especially the rather tempting prospect of extracting people’s memories and using them to develop superior soldiers. The plot concerns an intelligence officer and a professor who discover a criminal plan coming from a series of Nazi experiences. This book is rich in characters, pace is fast, the mixture of history and the modern world is provocative, thus this book is worth to be read. Thus, the issues of genetic modification and moral questions enhance the plot, and make it considerably more than merely an action movie. If you have a preference for mythology and clash of space kingdoms, together with a fair share of technology and geography, “Project X521” is a real find for you.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SOOOO MUCH! This is one of those books that keep you hooked from the beginning. It is a science - mythology fiction and it literally overpowered my expectations. The book talks about a secret project titled X521, which is happening in Pakistan under IIS. An Indian external affairs officer finds about it from his informer and goes on to collect some evidences about the project but soon his body is found in a very brutal condition. The WAR then along with a professor from IIT Roorkee initiates a project of their own to combat/counter against X521. The novel is very well put. If you are someone who is fond of Indian mythology and has a keen towards Indian defense agencies, you will love this book just Like I did.

I picked up this book, while surfing my kindle, the book was from an author i never heard of, but the cover and the blurb looked captivating. I started as if let me try a few pages, but i must admit, turning pages (kindle too have option to turn pages), I didn't realize when i reached the last page. From starting to end you won't find a dull moment in the book, the book is fast paced, every chapter has a hook at the end to make you want to read one more chapter. You will feel like as if you are watching a movie but scenes are playing in your head instead of the screen. Eagerly waiting for Part 2 of the book.

A fairly good mytho-thriller. Especially looking at the first book by an author. Awakening ancient genes to create superhuman is a good thought, but the details were quite vague. I did not like the renaming of RAW to WAR, IB to BI and ISI to IIS. when the India and Pakistan are clearly mentioned, I don't see a point in renaming the spy agencies. The book has several storyline weaknesses, for example the information exchange between Indian agents embedded with the embassy and their informers in Pakistan can never happen that easily. Its a common knowledge that every Indian citizen, especially the embassy staff are always shadowed by the ISI agents.
It seemed the author rushed to finish this book.

I literally finished the book in one go, it's that impactful and awesome. This particular mythological fiction is just so sublimely presented. I'm bound to rate 5 star. I'm not joting an eulogy, but stating the truth. You can find legitimate details regarding the ancient Indian knowledge system, also a blend of military and scientific crisis is being represented when Pakistan picked up the extrahuman project that was left incomplete by the scientists of nazi Germany. Humans were literally turning against their own race and we're developing a deadly bio weapon, an army of dangerous creatures. It's definitely a personal favourite and must read!

Marvelous book to read.

The way Sahil started the book felt like the Dan Brown of India writing in fresh perspective. But as it proceeds, and specially in the next part he turns the story into a mesmerising weave of timelines, science, mythology, reality and thrill takes it to the next level. The surprising appearance of a mysterious character at the end of this book gave me goosebumps. Way to go Sahil, look forward to more from you.

Imagine discovering a threat so dire that it forces a nation to dig deep into its ancient past for answers. This is the captivating premise of Sahil Sharma's "Project X521: and the Ancient Saviours." Sharma, known for his imaginative storytelling, masterfully blends mythology and sci-fi in a tale that takes readers on a thrilling ride through history and futuristic science.

The story begins with an ominous revelation: a threat from Nazi Germany's past has resurfaced, challenging even India's elite Special Forces. Vikram, an officer from India's External Intelligence agency, "WAR," is stationed in Islamabad. As he uncovers a web of sinister experiments led by German and Pakistani experts aiming to create superhuman creatures, tragedy strikes, and Vikram is murdered. His death propels his team, including a professor of ancient sciences, to seek solutions in their ancient heritage. This unique blend of ancient mythology and cutting-edge science sets the book apart, promising an exciting and thought-provoking experience.

Sharma's writing is straightforward and accessible, making complex scientific and mythological concepts easy to grasp. His narrative voice is engaging, and he excels at building suspense while maintaining a brisk pace. The vivid descriptions and seamless fusion of genres immerse readers in a world where the past and future collide.

The characters in "Project X521" range from intelligence officers to scientists and mythological figures, each adding depth to the story. Vikram, the protagonist, is particularly compelling, embodying the valor and complexity of an intelligence officer facing unimaginable threats. However, some characters feel underdeveloped, lacking the depth that would make them more relatable. The central idea of combining mythology with sci-fi is original and thought-provoking, exploring themes of legacy, identity, and technological ethics.

The plot is fast-paced, with twists and turns that keep readers on their toes. From covert operations in Islamabad to ancient mysteries unraveling in India, the story is tightly woven and well-structured. However, the narrative occasionally falters with an overreliance on complex terminology and "number games," which can be distracting and difficult to follow. More descriptive depth in certain scenes could enhance the reading experience.

"Project X521" delves into themes of patriotism, the ethical implications of scientific advancements, and the enduring power of ancient wisdom. The story resonates with real-world issues, such as the moral dilemmas of genetic experimentation and the quest for superhuman abilities. Symbolic elements, like the juxtaposition of ancient and modern knowledge, enrich the narrative, offering readers a layered and meaningful experience.

The book evokes a range of emotions, from the adrenaline rush of covert operations to the poignant moments of loss and sacrifice. Vikram's tragic death is particularly heart-wrenching, highlighting the personal cost of national security. The patriotic fervor that underpins the story is inspiring, leaving readers with a sense of pride and reflection on their own values and beliefs.

"Project X521" excels with its unique fusion of mythology and sci-fi, creating an engaging and original storyline. The fast-paced narrative keeps readers hooked, ensuring continuous suspense. Sharma's vivid world-building immerses readers in detailed ancient and modern settings, enhancing the story's appeal. Additionally, the book's patriotic undertones provoke reflection on ethical and moral issues related to technological advancements and national security, adding depth to the thrilling plot.

Despite its strengths, "Project X521" has notable weaknesses. The characters lack depth, feeling one-dimensional and less relatable. The use of complex scientific terminology can confuse readers and detract from the story's enjoyment. Additionally, some scenes lack descriptive depth, which could enhance the overall reading experience. More detailed descriptions in these areas would create a more balanced and immersive narrative, improving reader engagement.

As a lover of both mythology and sci-fi, I found "Project X521" to be a fascinating blend of genres. The book's unique premise and fast-paced narrative kept me engaged, though the complex terminology did occasionally pull me out of the story. Despite its shortcomings, the book's strengths lie in its originality and the emotional depth of its patriotic themes.

Overall, "Project X521: and the Ancient Saviours" is a captivating read that offers a unique take on the sci-fi thriller genre. While there are areas for improvement, Sahil Sharma's imaginative storytelling and engaging premise make this book worth exploring. For fans of mythology and sci-fi, this novel promises an exciting adventure with the potential for even greater things in its sequels.

When I first picked up Project X521 and the Ancient Saviours: Part I by Sahil Sharma, I was immediately drawn into a world where espionage collides with ancient Vedic lore. As someone who loves thrillers grounded in real-world stakes, I found the premise—an Indian intelligence operative uncovering a clandestine Nazi-era genetic experiment—irresistible. From the very first chapter, I felt the tension mounting, and I knew I was in for a ride that blended cutting‑edge science with mythological depth unlike anything I’d read before.

Plot & Premise
The story kicks off with Agent Vikram’s daring investigation into Project X521, a covert program seeking to engineer super‑soldiers through the fusion of biotechnology and fragments of Vedic science. Just when the conspiracy seems within reach, Vikram is brutally assassinated, passing the baton to Arjun, a Joint Secretary at WAR, India’s premier intelligence unit. Through Arjun’s alliance with an IIT genetic‑memory researcher, the narrative unravels a chilling plan: to resurrect “ancient saviours”—hybrid descendants of humans and Devas—as the only antidote to the bio‑engineered threat. This high‑stakes setup kept me on edge, eager to see how science and mythology would coalesce.

Characters & Development
I was particularly impressed by the way Arjun’s character unfolds. His unwavering patriotism and methodical approach balance perfectly against the more impulsive, emotionally driven researcher. While a couple of secondary figures felt a bit under‑developed—especially some of the field agents—I appreciated how their limited backstories mirrored the novel’s brisk pace. It made the moments when new layers of motivation emerged all the more rewarding.

Mythology & Science Fusion
Sahil Sharma excels in weaving together two seemingly disparate worlds. The detailed descriptions of Vedic rituals and ancient scripts felt authentic, drawing on just enough historical context to ground the mythic elements. Equally compelling were the scientific passages: though dense at times, they convincingly portrayed the horrors—and promises—of genetic manipulation. I loved how the author didn’t shy away from technical jargon, trusting that readers would be as fascinated by the science as by the supernatural angle.

Writing Style & Pacing
The novel’s pacing is relentless. Short chapters alternate between pulse‑pounding action sequences and quieter, exposition‑driven scenes, creating a rhythm that kept me turning pages late into the night. Sharma’s prose is clear and evocative, painting stark imagery of shadowy labs, rugged mountain hideouts, and the ethereal glimpses of Deva‑blooded saviours. At times I wished for a bit more atmospheric buildup, but overall the momentum more than made up for it.

Strengths & Critiques
What stands out most is the book’s bold concept: a meeting point of WWII lore, modern espionage, and ancient myth. It challenges readers to question the ethics of playing god with genetics while celebrating the enduring power of cultural heritage. On the flip side, a few minor characters could have benefited from richer backstories, and the scientific explanations occasionally felt heavy-handed. Still, these are small quibbles in an otherwise exhilarating adventure.

Conclusion
In conclusion, Project X521 and the Ancient Saviours: Part I delivers a gripping fusion of science, mythology, and spycraft that kept me fully immersed from start to finish. Sahil Sharma’s vivid world‑building and breakneck pacing make this a standout thriller, even if a couple of supporting characters could use deeper development. Above all, I am absolutely thrilled for the next installment—Part II promises to dive deeper into the cosmic stakes and ancient mysteries, and I simply cannot wait to see where Arjun’s journey takes us next!

Each character has been well defined and justified with a strong backstory. The backstory will give you a thrill, especially if you belive in Hindu scripture. The ending of the book revealed something that gave me chills—brilliant storytelling. I’m eagerly waiting for the sequel.

A sinister and covert genetic modification and alteration of human beings—Pakistan has sought assistance from a former German scientist who once conducted horrific experiments on innocent people in concentration camps. Now, they are attempting to create something unnatural, a force designed to unleash chaos upon the world.

An Indian embassy officer in Pakistan is found dead with some crucial information which needs to be send to India as soon as possible. Arjun, an security officer is hell bent on finding a way out but is being disappointed from every side. He reaches to a point that he thinks nothing is going to work when he meets someone from the same office but retired who shows him a way to reach the person who can help him in all his problems.
He meets the professor who has the solution but without funds and resources the person wasn’t able to be successful in the solution long ago but now when he was offered the funds and resources he is ready to continue his research.

It's been a long time since I've read some quality books from Indian authors. And this proved to be one. I kind of had quite moderate expectations from this book at the start, to be honest. I was expecting it to be just a moderate read by a random indian author. But no, this is quite grippy. The one thing which I can assure you about this book is, a gripping story. It took me 3 days to complete, due to some time issues, but these kinds of books can be completed in a single sitting. Like, by heart, the only negative thing I can point out about the book was, it's cover, which I didn't like much. It was indeed filled with myths and border-plotics and as making it even more engaging.

-Why you should try this,
The story is too good. This author has been creative while writing this book as the idealogy of this book is great. By involving Indian myths with a modern border-politic story, this book was never felt boring even at a single point. Almost all the chapters ends with a cliffhangers, and it forces you to read more. I personally liked it and it feels soo good that this is a completed Trilogy, and I don't have to wait to read the next book.

-Things I felt can be improved,
The cover. I didn't like the cover, it might have been better.
Sometimes I felt that the were are over exaggerated. Over powered. And over build. As it's quite related to indian myths, these descriptions can be justified by taking fantasy into consideration. The story was a little predictable but still it felt very much gripping.

Other than these, the story is quite gripping and every chapter was a page-turner. And the ending was quite goosebump-ic, maybe. I liked the ending and it definitely opens the way for 2nd book and even makes us read the 2nd part.

Will the professor find a way to resolve this national crisis?
Can India intercept and neutralize the threat in time?

🍀 Review
*Project X521 Part 1* delves into the familiar theme of India-Pakistan rivalry but takes a fresh approach by focusing on scientific terrorism rather than human conflict. The author, having a science background, infuses the narrative with scientific logic, making the concept even more engaging. His thorough research into ancient Indian texts has given rise to a compelling blend of mythology and science fiction, introducing elements such as Tvasta, Adi Parashakti, and cosmic weapons like the Brahmastra and Pashupastra. I especially appreciated the exploration of the lineage of great warriors.

The book presents an innovative concept and offers a mix of science and mythology, making it stand out. The language is simple and accessible, and the fast-paced story maintains a tight grip on the reader.
Anxiously waiting for the second part .
I highly recommend this to thriller enthusiasts.

I found the concept of tapping into ancestral skills and knowledge through DNA fascinating. The author explores ideas about different realms of existence, devas (god-like beings), and the potential for humans to possess extraordinary abilities.

The story takes an exciting turn when a team of enhanced individuals is sent on a mission to neutralize a threat from genetically engineered creatures. The action scenes are intense, with vivid descriptions of the team's encounters with these superhuman entities.

The book touches on themes of genetic manipulation, the ethics of creating super-soldiers, and the potential consequences of meddling with forces beyond our understanding. It also explores the geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan, adding a layer of real-world intrigue to the fantastical elements.

If you enjoy fast-paced action with a mix of ancient wisdom and futuristic concepts, this book might be right up your alley.

The thrilling mytho-science thriller Project X521 and the Ancient Saviours skillfully combines modern science, mystery, and espionage. A terrifying discovery — a clandestine genetic experiment based on the sinister legacy of Nazi-era research — opens Sahil Sharma's compelling story. A race against time is triggered by the assassination of Indian intelligence officer Vikram, drawing Joint Secretary Arjun and an IIT professor into a risky operation to neutralize an unseen threat.

This book is unique because it combines contemporary science with Indian mythology, giving readers a novel perspective on mythical fiction through the seamless integration of themes from ancient books like the Rig Veda, such as Tvasta, DNA vibrations, and cosmic weapons.

Arjun is the character that I like the most. He is highly relatable due to his cool-headedness, ability to lead under duress, and depth of feeling. The reader is kept interested by his relationship with the professor, which gives the story depth.

I heartily endorse Project X521 and the Ancient Saviours to those who enjoy mythological sci-fi and thrillers. It's quick-paced, exquisitely researched, and makes you consider the unspoken connections between science, culture, and history. This book need to be your next read if you're searching for a distinctive, action-packed adventure with real-world consequences.

I have just finished "Project X521 Part 1," experiencing the book just then and continuing to reeling from the intensity.
A book does not come along very often and has the ability to pull together mythology, espionage, science, and military tension without losing hold of the storyline. But Sahil Sharma just now made it entire.

I just loved the nature of this concept, linking the Indian Army with ancient texts to show how forgotten knowledge can be humanity’s last hope.
It was gripping in the protagonist's journey, while the side characters with their own motives and traumas kept me hooked too. The idea that a secret Nazi experiment could tie into Vedic knowledge to weaponize something as divine as the Brahmastra sent chills down my spine with excitement.
I kept going back to certain scenes, trying to wrap my head around the depth and implications. And about that ending—it blew me away. That wasn't just a twist; that was a lateral shift in the entire narrative world. This book doesn't just tell a story, it fashions a legacy.

My appreciation goes to the respect and research given to Indian mythology.
The writing is lean, cinematic, and utterly addictive. I am left with a thousand theories and so much curiosity.

This series has the potential to redefine Indian sci-fi thrillers. Highly recommended to anyone who craves intelligent storytelling.
