I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my husband and our two dogs,
Remi and Sako (pronounced Say-co). When I’m not writing, I’m
playing fetch with the dogs, talking to my parents for endless amounts
of hours, annoying the crap out of my husband, or just enjoying life
with my friends.
Writing has been a part of my life since I was about 12. I started
out just writing short stories or silly knock-offs of my favorite shows
or movies. Soon, though, I realized just how much I loved to write.
How often my mind would wander and think of characters and where
they could go. They became real to me, and I would start to write. I
used to fill up notebooks and pads of paper when I got an idea. It
would be an obsession, almost, to get on paper. Then, when I was old
enough to have a computer, I started there.
Now, I’m 28 years old and I finally hit that button. The one that
I’ve thought about it over and over again for the past 16 years. There is
no greater joy, or fear, at realizing you’ve just accomplished something
that you’ve wanted to do for so very long. That is my greatest accomplishment
and I look forward to hitting that button on many more.

I always like to be fully transparent in my reviews so I will start this by saying I liked the story, but it took me a lot longer to read than others by this author.

The constant back and forth got a little boring, I enjoy a little banter and a strong FMC but at times Glitch just felt mean. It wasn’t until the last few chapters that things really picked up and I was able to stay focused and fully invested.

The relationship growth was great, and I enjoyed seeing characters from previous groups and characters that we will hopefully see more of in the future. All in all it’s a good read and I would recommend it.

I was looking forward to this story a lot and I knew Code and Glitch would have some really fun tension. And they did but that was also what I liked least about the story because it went on for a little too long in my opinion. and then it made the change from them fighting all the time to then wanting each other and declaring their love felt too sudden for me.

It may not have been a favorite of mine from this series but I still enjoyed the story and it's always fun to catch up with the past characters. I'm even more interested in getting some of the other characters story now too.

Twice the Rivalry by Emily Rose is the maddening story of Code and Glitch. They are both cyber-sleuths that volley against each other…until, Code does something that puts Glitch and her team in danger. There is a near-constant back-and-forth…one-upping that gets rather tedious after awhile…thankfully, it eventually lightens up.

I didn’t care much for Glitch she thought she was ‘all that’ and no one came close to her abilities. Plus, she was allowed to poke bodily fun at him…but, when he did, it was hurtful? She just seemed a little hateful to me. Code wasn’t a saint by any means…but, he wasn’t hateful.

Nevertheless, the story gets much better once they lighten up on the barbs. The underlying story was great and I enjoyed the way the two MC clubs handled their unusual situation…good story!!

🖤Twice the Rivalry by Emily Rose is the fifth book in the Dragons MC series, but can be read as a standalone. I personally have not yet read her other books, but definitely will now. The way the author created this world and described all the characters it was not hard to step right into the story and become involved in all of the love, angst, tension, and action.
🖤Glitch and Code are our two main characters, and they have a very heated rivalry, and their story is the epitome of enemies to lovers.
Glitch is our brainy, sass mouth tough as nails, FMC. She gives all or nothing of herself to her team, and to anyone who needs her help. She has walls built around her very high to guard herself, and while she is happy with her life, she is living a life of solitude and is realizing maybe she doesn’t want to be alone all the time. Code is our super sexy nerd MMC who also chooses to spend most of his time alone in his office. He is someone who selflessly cares for his family while also making sure to keep his team safe and is very much a workaholic.
They are the best of the best upper level, hackers and specialize in cyber security and coding. Their rivalry spins out of control after one too many pranks, causing a force proximity situation. The chemistry between them is super hot, sparks start flying, and turns into a full fledge inferno resulting in a smoldering mess of steamy, hot sex. As the story evolves the “just sex” turns into so much more. It was beautiful to watch young love emerge as they both come to the realization that they don’t have to go it alone. They learn how to share personal history, how to trust and lean on each other. Throughout this book, I became consumed by the amazing dynamic of both the Dragon and Predator MCs community. The found family is so strong. The supporting characters that we meet throughout this book have so much personality, charisma, humor and team dynamic. It is very easy to fall into this world and want to read more.
🖤This is a great book that is part of an excellent series and I highly recommend jumping in.

ARC REVIEW: As always, be sure to check your triggers! There are a few in this story. That being said, this was a great read. It had everything I wanted in a MC romance. There was banter, plot, SPICE. The story line moves quickly, I never felt bored. I have read a handful of books by this author and one of the nice things about her writing is that even if you pick up in the middle of a series, you can still easily read one of her novels. You might be missing some side character backstory but it's not enough that you can not easily piece things together while reading. Each couple I have read has had their own individual stories. Our FMC is one strong cookie and I love her for it. Our MMC needed to be put in his place a couple times but quickly learned. All the supporting characters helped move the story along and added valuable emotions and information to the story. The only issue I had in this story is that some of the character names were too similar. For example Razor and Rogue. I kept getting them confused. There are a lot of characters in her stories ( particularly this one) so sometimes I get people confused. But not enough that it slowed me down. And the SPICE- dear lord. Is it hot in here? This was some good spice…. It was detailed and just yummy. I didn't give it 5 chilis only for the fact that I have read other spice where there is more of it and it's a little darker. But what was in this book worked perfectly for the plot. I love a book that has both spice and plot and one does not override the other. This was the perfect mix! If you want a SPICY MC read- this is your author!

I happened on this author a few months ago. I started reading one of “The Devil’s Soldiers” books and realized there was a whole other series that interacted with this one and came before it. I stopped on the first chapter and grabbed the first book from the “Inked” series and the rest is history. I have now read all of her books and can honestly say I’m a huge fan! And that bring us to Code and Glitch. We met Glitch, and her team, in Razor and Karissa’s book and she definitely made an impression. They say that dynamite comes in small packages, well Glitch is a 5’2” dynamo with a sassy mouth and brains and agility to back it up. She’s tiny but definitely tough. Code is quiet and used to order. He surrounds himself with his computers and takes his job, securing his MC family and their properties very seriously. When he and Glitch meet, it’s a hate/hate kind of relationship and it spirals out of control with each one trying to one up the other until one of their pranks turns out extremely wrong. The prank wars are pretty hilarious, I laughed my head off reading about the Chucky doll incident. Ms. Rose is a fabulous writer who gives us amazing characters that she incorporates in all her books, while she builds new stories. This community of characters draw in the reader and make it difficult to patiently wait for the next book. Loved this book and can’t wait to see what future books come out of this great pool of supporting characters…we’ve got a whole other MC that needs their stories told too! Fabulous book Ms. Rose…definitely a fan!

A amazing story

Glitch and code a enemies to lover story we first meet glitch in double the dilemma. Glitch is a women who is strong intelligent and highly skilled with a past that has gained her and her team enemies and thanks to a prank that code does (unknowingly) puts her and the team on the path to a very dangerous single minded team hell bent on revenge this has glitch staying at the dragons mc club house which has glitch and code in very close quarters and their hate lust which turns them lovers

The story and the build up to the action was great well written but I did find glitch to be frustrating and I did not like her 50% of the time I felt that she was too full of herself and thought she was better than everyone else which she kept putting down to her being a women who was able to everything and therefore she was right must be listen to her she accused code of being demeaning about Her body yet she did the same to him but that was ok double standards and that she wanted to be a respected and treated equal same as karissa but would be isrespectable to them but she would do and say things throughout the book which would make you love her and make you think she not that bad especially with the twins. I loved code throughout the book and what he does for his bood and mc family but glitch would make him do things that he didn't understand why she drove him to act and say things

There is one selection with the twins that had me all emotional and the speech Emily wrote for them was a absolute amazing so well written had me in tears.

As much as I liked this story it's not one of my favorites.
I stopped and started a few times because I got bored with the constant back and forth with Code and Glitch.

I'm all for a strong capable woman who can hold her own but with Glitch it was constantly thrown up in codes face as well as the men in the MC and that just turned me off her character.

I loved the characters in this series and the way they all look out for each other . Win and Wren and what they've been through hold a special place for me and I loved the scene where Karissa and Glitch helped them in getting some of their power back .

I felt that Codes character took more of a back seat to Glitch in respect to their capabilities as computer scientists and again I think it was because she was too much in his face about it and I feel too cocky, there's confidence in your capabilities and then there's self assuredness that makes you tosser as well and for me I didn't like that about Glitch. However in saying that I did love her heart and how she helped people anonymously with her money and didn't make a show of it . That I would have liked to have seen more off .

As usual the high jinx was hilarious amongst the members and poor Savage is going grey with all the women finding their feet and feeling safe enough to be themselves. There's never a dull moment with them and I love that about this series. I'm so looking forward to reading Jax next though. Bring it on .

It felt like the first half of this one was the same thing over and over again, it was tedious. Glitch and Code snipping at each other, playing practical jokes on each other, until Code stepped over the line and put Glitch and her people in jeopardy. This caused Glitch to stay with the Dragons and things went from 10 to 100 in the snipping and practical jokes. Honestly I started skimming for a bit, it was the same ole, same ole, maybe with one of the other Dragons thrown in for a little, very little, variety.

Things picked up when Glitch's enemies started after them and later found them. I thought they all did good in the preparations for as little time as they had and with as few people as they had too. It sucked how Glitch and the Dragons were over powered, but I did love how Glitch and Karissa saved the say while the men were tied up in a corner and all they could do was watch. Even Glitch's people didn't really get there until most things were taken care of.

I think the new direction for Glitch's group is a good one, it allows the best of both worlds!

On a side note...how brutal was the scene where Glitch and Karissa helped the twins overcome their weaknesses while fighting. I hated reading it, but also know that like Glitch and Karissa said, it needed to be done for them to realize they were strong and would do their best to never let something like they went through happen again.

Wow that was a most enjoyable, amazingly awesome and epic journey. I absolutely loved Code and Glitch’s story ❤️❤️❤️ They certainly made it seem like they couldn’t stand each other, they continually one upped each other. Nothing life threatening but definitely annoying until Code made the mistake of outing her with a dating app. He should of known, he knew he’d royally messed up, bringing trouble to their door and apologised profusely for his major fu#k up. Slip (the arch enemy) caught the slip up and he along with his Ghost team set out to locate and rid the world of Glitch and her team, the Predators. With both Code and Glitch keeping a watchful eye on their computer systems, although it took time they finally locate the enemy but are unable to pin down their home base. Meanwhile feelings become involved between Code and Glitch, they fight it of course but there’s no stopping that train, it hurtles into them and they create a smouldering mess of sex and oh no, lol relationship material. Of course it came to a head when Slip once again tracks their whereabouts and the team of Ghosts plan an invasion and takedown of the Dragons MC where Glitch is placed to be kept safe. It’s an intriguing storyline that keeps you heavily invested in the outcome. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎

*****5 Glitch Stars*****
I love this series so much. Each book is just as great as the last. Glitch she is a member of the Predator MC she’s the Tech/Hacker of the team. She also a former mercenary like the rest of her team and she is a total badass; we met Glitch, and her team, in Razor (member of the Dragon MC) and Karissa’s book. Code is a member of the Dragon MC and is the resident Tech/Hacker and is usually the calm cool and collected of the bunch. Code and Glitch have an ongoing feud since Glitch came charging in and informing Code how his security is lacking and how he should really fix that. Fast-forward and now this ongoing feud has gone too far with Code putting Glitch and the Predator’s MC in danger. So now Code is having to work closely to Glitch to try fix his wrong. As your reading this you can feel the sparks flying all around; I could not be stopping reading. Be papered when you get to the part with twins at the gym showing off what they learn; these two will break your heart. I cried that whole chapter the things these girls survived and came through the other side trying to be normal teenagers WOW. I can’t wait for more.

I loved this story of Code and Glitch and how you worked both MC into this story.

Glitch is a badass woman who will not take any crap from the men in Dragons MC as they don’t think woman should be in the MC as they are there to protect them.

Code is a nerd that like to be on his own in his office.

Code and Glitch are both computer needs and hackers when they first meet each other is was not good as Glitch told Code that it had some holes in his system and Code hated that so it became a bit of a rivalry between them and they would prank each other but it got out of hand and when code did something to get her back it ended up getting Glitch and her team in hot water and a group from the past is out for blood, so to ends up with glitch having to work with Code and she does not like that.

But after they have some up and downs with working together, the sparks end up flying between and you see the chemistry between them is hot, but they both keeps fight it because they are both with different MC Clubs so how can it work.

Will the part come back and end the MC Club or will they get past it and will Code and Glitch fight for what they have or let it go.

Another fantastic story and Emily keeps you entertained with these two trying to one up each other with their shenanigan's, but looks like with what Code sent Glitch, it eventually backfires on him, lol. He's your typical alpha male and a good IT tech/hacker, but doesn't have the experience/knowledge that Glitch does, and well with that being said, there relationship is like oil & water, and he like most men, doesn't appreciate being told that his security system/data security isn't up to par.

The one thing that Code does see in regards to Glitch, is that she's lonely and basically has a lonely life, because most people's eyes cross when you talk tech to them, so that's one thing he could do.

Glitch also kept her head in her studies and learning, and had a so called friend in college that wanted to take advantage, but as time goes by, then some military ops going on with this guy, Slip and his crew, his hatred for her spreads even more.

That's why she's hiding out and staying safe at the Dragons MC, where Code is a member and her female teammate resides there as well.

A Must Read and highly recommend!

We first meet Glitch and Code in the previous book, Double the Dilemma. Both are IT tech and hackers for their relative MC Clubs. They take an instant dislike to each other and are constantly taking verbal snipes at each other.

Even when they are separated by the return to their respective clubs, the relentless tampering with each others systems, underhand and funny pranks continues. Until one prank is taken a step to far and puts not only Glitch but her club The Predators MC in jeopardy.

With the only option to keep Glitch safe while her club tend to business, she moves in with the Dragons MC. Sparks fly as they try to work together until everyone is in danger and they have to reach a compromise.

Another fabulous Dragons MC story, fast paced, lots of plot twists and turns, tension, danger and drama. It has plenty of action involving both the clubs and of course the usual shenanigans with the Dragon MC family. I really enjoyed this book and really can’t wait for the next in the series.

I’ve been excited for Glitch and Code’s book since their first meeting. They were the perfect example of enemies. Both tech/hackers for their teams - him the MC and her a female member of a former mercenary MC club. Their banter and pranks were a lot of fun. When danger comes into the mix and Code is forced to stay in the room next to Glitch in the MMC clubhouse I knew things were going to get exciting.

This pair loves to get under each other’s skin and their pranks sometimes go a little far, increasing the disdain they have for each other, and eventually Glitch goes too far and crosses the line.

The character growth was fantastic. There is a lot of progression and growth and the progression of their relationship evolved naturally. Being forced together, their chemistry begins to combust. When feelings get involved and alpha tendencies from Glitch begin to show I was swooning while Code was fighting her feelings and standing her ground.

This is a longer book and if I’m honest the back-and-forth feud at the beginning could have been shorter. I love how both MC members and the wives were involved. Their involvement kept the pace moving forward. The banter between all of the characters is some of the best and it’s always fun to see what the other characters are doing.

Glitch and Code’s story is filled with tension, danger, banter, pranks, friendship, heartbreak, and spice.

Code and Glitches story and if you've read any of Emily's other books, you will see that they may have very alpha Heros, but they have some major kick-a$$ heroines and this is no different!

Glitch is a former mercenary and a member of The Predators MC so when I say she's kick-a$$, she's majorly kick-a$$!!
Code is part of The Dragons MC and he and Glitch first met in a previous book where their first interaction was her telling him that his system was keek! Noone wants to her that, especially a nerdy MC member. Cue the animosity!!....

They're constantly at each others throat and trying to one-up each other and then Code makes a serious mistake which endangers Glitch and her team, they're forced to be in each others space and it is chaos!

It is filled with banter, antics, pranks, friendship, and some really heartbreaking moments and the storyline kept me intrigued.

A good read!

Can fire and water go together in this explosive new drama-filled hot MC story in this compelling series by the talented Emily Rose?, you bet it can badass Glitch takes no nonsense, she is a tough hacker, and her team are her family, they have her back and she has there's, her interaction with her counterpart in the Dragons MC Code has been anything but friendly but now their pranks have devastating consequences when an old enemy comes after Glitch and the pair are forced to work together in close proximity as Glitch has to relocate to the Dragons, this means they will either hurt each other or the building sizzling chemistry is about to combust and combust it does in a hot and delicious way, but the danger is creeping closer, and nobody is about to come out without a few wounds, Emily Rose has delivered an action-packed fast-paced intriguing story, one of her longer ones, but necessary as there is so much going on.

This is book five of The Dragons MC series. This is Glitch and Code's story, and it was fantastic. These two are both hackers from different MC's and do everything to torment each other. Some of the things Glitch does to code will make you laugh out loud. When Code takes it too far and puts Glitch and her team at risk everything changes. The sexual tension in this book is undeniable, you just wait for them to snap and give in to each other. When they finally do the chemistry is explosive. The characters journey to love was well written and developed at just the right pace. The banter and push and pull was phenomenal and will enthrall you from start to finish, then you get some MC action on top that just makes the book that much better. I love how Emily Rose writes her female characters they are always full of sass, feisty and strong willed. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Wow! Just Wow! Emily did such an amazing job with this book.

You have Code who is a member of the Dragon MC he is usually the calm cool and collected of the bunch. Code is the Dragon's resident Tech/Hacker. While helping one of his brothers and thier old lady out he wasn't expected a sprite of a women come charging in and telling him how lacking his security is and he should really fix that. This set of the chain off a chain of events as the 2 of them go at each other.

Then there is Glitch she is part of the Predator MC and she is a total badass Tech/Hacker for her team. As a former mercenary like the rest of her team they work together to help others where they can. Glitch likes to get under Code's skin and is constantly setting him on edge. She pushes a little harder then she should and when all is said and done she is placed in danger.

Thanks to thier rivalry and disdain for each other Glitch does something that causes Code to go a little too far and it puts Glitch and her team in danger. Now Glitch has to stay with the Dragons for her protection even though to her she can take care of herself and doesn't need anyone to do it for her. She has no trust for Code and makes it so that they have to work in close proximity to each other and drive each other crazy. Thier hate for each other starts turning and before they both no it they are no longer going at each other's throats but at each other's body. They make it clear to each other this means nothing but some stress relief and soon she will be gone back to her own MC once they get the enemy taken care of. Glitch refuses to play the little women and makes it perfectly clear that will never happen at any point. They continue to push each other's buttons but with the shift can they continue to hate each other or can they be more then rivals.

When the enemy comes knocking can they work together to keep everyone safe? Can Code and Glitch give each other up and continue with life the way it was or will one of them have to compromise and give up the family they built for years?

Sit back and enjoy the ride that Emily will take you on. This book is filled with everything you would hope for. You will find everything you hope for in a book. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat through the whole book. You will being laughing, crying and anxiously waiting to see what happens on the next page!! This book has it all. I do suggest that you start at the beginning of the Dragon MC series so you have a better understanding of what happening even though the book has no cliff hangers. Happy Reading!!!

I’m half convinced these books are doused in crack. These books are so gripping you just get lost! If you’re lucking for possessive men and independent women then please look no further. These characters and their stories pull you in and just make you want more!
Code and Glitch are series rivals throughout these books, and this continues within their own book. They both know they’re the best of the best but this puts a serious strain on their relationship. Glitch knows how these biker men are and is not afraid to keep them in their place. She wants power and recognition for her wins. She wants Code to know he’ll never control her, unless she allows it. And lucky for us Code comes to his senses. Watching them both eventually fold and realise how good they are for each other is just so fulfilling. Really really enjoyed myself reading this and all it’s found family glory

Absolutely amazing and everything I’ve come to expect from Emily Rose. Have been a huge fan of this series and wow, I knew Code and Glitch were gonna be explosive. I’ve never been more invested in a pair of characters than I found myself to be with these two. And boy, did they not disappoint. I really enjoyed and appreciated that even after all the pranks and animosity that these two had between them- once they started coming together- it was so beautiful. And the fact that Code didn’t let himself feel jilted because he found himself a strong woman was fantastic. But what was even better- that Glitch, this tough as nails, strong, independent woman, let herself be open to not only loving this man- but letting herself be loved by him. Just so amazing!!

What can I say!!!.... Emily has once again hit this one out of the park. All her books are "never put it down until it is finished." Books usually tend to drag on in the first few chapters with boring of the characters, but this one started off with a bang, pranks, laughter....it was great, caught you within the first chapter. One chapter took me down a very emotional ride, I felt the heartbreak of each character in one chapter, that I had tears and couldn't stop crying. Emily's books make you feel like you are a part of the world. Their emotions and heartbreaks are your heartbreaks. Their anger becomes your anger. Their fight becomes your fight. This book is a rollercoaster ride up and down! If you don't read this book, you will regret it.

Twice the Rivalry is an enemies to lovers story. Code and Glitch prank each other, trying to out-do each other. Except one of Code's 'pranks' turns out to put Glitch, Karissa, and the Predator team in grave danger. Code is forced to work with Glitch to save the Predators. Most enemies-to-lover's plots irritate me because there is not a transition/evolution of the relationship. Rose does a fantastic job of writing Code and Glitch's thoughts as strong dislike is tempered by revelations about each other's personalities and eventually realizing they have fallen in love. There is steamy sex and the old ladies and twins keep the brothers on their toes. Rose adds a plot twist that promises more great plot lines in future books.

I wasn't sure how these two would ever get together with the negativity between them, but hate and love are different sides of the same coin. I would recommend reading the previous book in the series at a minimum in order to understand all the characters and where Glitch and Code first ran into each other.

Glitch is a badass in her life and at a computer, and ends up in a technical rivalry with Code. She ends up needing to stay with the Dragons MC but can these two be in the same compound without killing each other? The pranks were funny and eventually, when you were about shouting at them "start talking to each other!!", they did.

I recommend this book and this series if you like MC romance that is not especially dark, but has ladies who can hold their own which I love!

I'm so glad I started reading Emily Rose's books. She doesn't have any timid female characters and I love that. The instant rivalry between Code & Glitch was non-stop throughout the book and I couldn't stop reading. I had to finish this book instantly. The pranks these two pulled on each other still has me laughing...my favorite is the Chucky doll lol. But it wasn't all about the pranks, except one prank that changed the course of things for Glitch and made Code pay for it in more ways than one. All this lead to Glitch & Code getting closer and helping each other. Once everything came to a head, there were a few tense moments, but like the badasses Glitch and her friend Xena are, they managed to save the day.

Code and Glitch Review

The okay thing I personally didn’t like about this book and series was that it was in 2nd person. Normally I DNF 2nd person because it’s hard to get into and stick with. I only pushed through because I love all of Emily’s other books and I knew the stories were gonna be good. But, my personal preferences don’t take away from the story, the characters, and how great the book was overall. I liked all the back and forth, the prank wars, and how grumpy Code is. “World War Poo” is my new go-to when my friends tell me about their babies. That part made me laugh way too hard. 😂 anyway, another success for Emily Rose! Can’t wait to see the stories of the Predators MC. 😍

I struggled with this book. The main reason is because the two leads, Code and Glitch, kept acting like they were 14 year olds in high school vs. smart and amazing hackers. Glitch is part of a mercenary team for crying out loud and Code is the main hacker for an MC. They both couldn’t figure out that their pranks escalated to points of stupidity, especially Code when he endangered everyone on the mercenary team! This isn’t the first blunder he’s made by not thinking and just acting out of anger. The two of them made it a semi-unenjoyable read. The writing is awesome and I loved the plot, but these characters gave me a headache. When I can’t connect with the leads it all is downhill for me. For people who can get past the abject immaturity, this will be a fun read.

I first met Glitch in Double the Dilemma. As soon as I met her, I was a fan and could not wait for her story. Reading Twice the Rivalry is like eating a bag of potato chips, once you start you can't stop! OMG, I was laughing the whole time I was reading. There were so many funny moments that I found myself rereading them.

The antics that Glitch and Code were pulling on one another are hilarious. I called Glitch a pink haired she demon and I was correct. She is hellfire. She can take care of herself as Code and the prospects learned. Yet, Code could dish it out as well. The witty banter just added to the dynamics between Glitch and Code. Love these two hacker nerds.

I loved this book, the way Emily wrote this book had you on the edge of your seat wondering what Code and Glitch were going to do to the other one for revenge. She had it all leading up to the couple finally (after all of the fighting between the two of them) realizing that they were attracted to each other more than they thought.
All of the feelings came out after a problem in Glitch's past (along with her MC) is brought to the Devil MC's door by Code childish behavior.
It was an awesome book and I loved it.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review
