Robby wanted a guinea pig, but he had a history of slacking off in pet care. His mother finally agreed when he promised to take care of it, which for awhile he did, but eventually he broke his promise. Robby gave his pet, which he'd named Gynn, to another family who very much wanted him. Gynn was very well cared for and loved by that family.
This story shows children to be responsible for their pets. Lovely story with beautiful illustrations.
