Meant as a Young Adult or "YA" tale, I FINALLY GET IT shares memories of my youth. I knew what I wanted, and I had to have it. With a touch of humor and a pinch of history, young readers will learn the personal goals I set for myself long ago, not dissimilar to their own today. The connection will teach how and why some priorities greatly affect our lives one minute, and how they can vanish the next. Most important is that we not only recognize our goals, but we also appreciate any and all the influencers helping us along the way.
