A Hustler’s Baby Girl is a story of Alaysha Johnson, the daughter of Big Chucky, a drug lord and a well-known hustler. Big Chucky is a provider for his family and his grimy affairs are to thank for it all. Drug dealing is only one of his hustles, and the other stuff that he is involved in makes it look like an official business. Big Chucky’s corrupt lifestyle leads him to jail with a life sentence. Big Chucky’s arrest leaves his family almost homeless and hungry. Since his arrest, Alaysha and her brother, Akeem are left providing for their family and caring for their sick mother. From welfare to drug money, both Alaysha and Akeem follow in their father’s footsteps, but only one can truly hustle like Big Chucky used to. Will Akeem succeed in being the hustling prince, or will Alaysha snatch the crown off of his head and out shine him while stacking dirty money and running the streets like only a hustler’s baby girl could?

Very, very interesting! OMG I'm glad Akeem turned his life around... although it took trials and tribulations for Alaysha to get her act together--- God was always with her.... I really thought Betty would pass before Big Chucky, over all the book was amazing!

I thought this story was pretty good. I look forward to reading more by this author. I felt like I knew all the characters personally.
