I found this book when I cleaned out our garage and decided its message could be just what I needed in these dark and scary times of the Trump administration and MAGA cruelty. It did not disappoint! The inspiring story of the Kings fight for justice touched my heart deeply. My heart broke as I read the stories of violence and terror their family endured. I have so much respect for them and ALL who work for justice, compassion, and dignity of all. Mrs. King’s book portrays the work of the movement and her husband’s deep commitment to nonviolence in poignant and powerful ways. Oh how I wish our world would follow his example of love. Beautiful book.
