Absolutely delightful! Read this to my 5yo as part of the Sonlight K curriculum. She asked to read more from the series, and I’m happy to because I thoroughly enjoyed it, too! Also includes excellent life lessons about friendship, not judging others until you “walk a mile in their shoes,” creative problem-solving, and more!

"The World According to Humphrey" is a cute story about a school pet who spends weekends experiencing the many different households of his classroom students. This book would make an excellent read-aloud for elementary children, and it is a simple tale for the early middle-grade reader to enjoy.

I read this aloud to my 6-yr-old grandchildren. They loved it, and want me to get more Humphrey books. (They also want a hamster now.)
