Nancy Cornish PI - Back on the Case
Nancy Cornish has been running her own PI business in Padstow, Cornwall for a few years now. Seemingly an ordinary member of her community, Nancy has an extraordinary gift. She is able to make psychic connections with those who have passed, and objects belonging to those still living. The PI denotes Psychic Investigator, not Private Investigator. Her husband Charlie is a DI in the Truro police, and a down to earth Cornishman. In the past, he’s dismissed Nancy’s gift as ‘mumbo jumbo’, but now he accepts that she’s a very good detective. He’s over the moon that she’s been able to help him solve some important crimes, and is keen for her to keep up this good work.
The couple have just returned from holiday, and Nancy is ready to resume work and get back on the case. As well as helping her husband solve serious crimes, Nancy’s main mission in life is to use her gift to help others. In the grand scheme of things, the cases she solves within her community might not seem very important. However, they mean the world to those who come to Nancy for help. Some of her successes to date has been to reunite long lost lovers, track down a war hero’s missing medals, rescue a beloved pet, and find the mystery ingredient in the local butcher’s prize-winning sausages!
In this third book in the Nancy Cornish series, we see people come to Nancy for all sorts of reasons. Some are new clients, some are old friends, and she often discovers that what they say they need help with, is only the beginning of their story. Nancy’s investigations and discoveries help them to see what’s most important to them in life, and how to achieve it. And as we all know, that thing is happiness.

The 3rd book in this wonderful series, set in Cornwall, with its main character being a psychic investigator. The books are so addictive, once you've started reading one, you have to read all 3, they're so well written (although I did notice a couple of typos in this book) but nothing to detract from the story.
Nancy helps people by making a connection with someone or something from the past. She often sees people who have passed on but who have messages for those left behind who are struggling. She's also helped the police in a few cases, her husband being a DI in the force.
The books need to be read in order as alot of characters pop up in each book, and they each have their own story.
I think this may be the last in this series, but I'm hoping there may be more? please.....

The Best Yet!
This is the third book in the series, and I think this is the best one yet. Nancy Cornish is able to connect with people who have died, or people who are either missing or have lost an item they hold dear by handling something that belongs to them. Sometimes a person who has passed on, will appear to her. I love the conversations she has with her dear departed grandmother for instance. I remain to be convinced there is an after life, but after reading about Nancy and her psychic investigations perhaps I can be persuaded. Nancy is willing to help anyone in need, no matter how busy she is.

Another in the Nancy Cornish PI series. As well as following Nancy's life journey, the book really consists of a series of short stories as she works on and resolves each case. Just the kind of gentle, laid back book, for when I need to unwind before I go to sleep.

I really enjoyed this. It was a nice relaxing read – one of those books that you are so happy to turn back to. Some nice little vignettes of how Nancy’s gift helps other people. Lots of nice scenery and food as well. Nancy herself is well drawn and I particularly enjoyed the commentary on her choice in fashion.

A lovely series of feel good books
I’ve just read all three books in this series and loved every one of them. The characters are very likeable and although some of the story lines are a bit too good to be true, it’s still easy to read and enjoy.
I’d have no problems recommending the whole series to anyone to read.

Another good read , I really enjoyed this series . I couldn’t put it down and read it in a day when I was isolating at home with a virus . It really is a feel good book . I look forward to more of the same in the future

Just a really great read!
I like the real homey feeling I got from it and the descriptions of the area made you " see" it. I read all 3 in the series each better than the last! Great writing! I would definitely recommend this series to my reader friends!
