Phoenix Force is a series of action-adventure novels first published in 1982 by American Gold Eagle publishers. It is a spin-off of the Executioner series created by Don Pendleton.

Phoenix Force is one of two neutralization teams working for Stony Man, a top-secret anti-terrorist organization. As with The Executioner, the Phoenix Force novels have been written by a succession of authors under the pseudonym Gar Wilson. In 1991, Gold Eagle combined Phoenix Force with another Executioner spin-off series, Able Team, and launched the Stony Man book series, which is still being published as of 2005.

I'd say closer to a 3.5, this one is by William Fieldhouse who is always at least decent. This time the team is in Germany because Americans service members are being killed, usually hijacked on deserted roads. They find out that members of the defunct Baader-Meinhof gang have combined forces with some ODESSA Nazis, their plan is to hijack a missile site and demand that the Americans and Russians leave Germany or they will start blowing up cities. Though they have to figure out how to stop Phoenix Force first.

Recommended for fans of mens adventures, its a quick read with a lot of action. Of course Fieldhouse has his formula but its always done well and is a nice time waster.

Someone is killing American service men in West Germany. It turns out that it is ODESSA Nazis that have come back to the Fatherland and plan to over run a NATO missile site to blackmail East and West Germany to unite under national socialism. Phoenix Force comes in to prove that three reichs and your out!

Gruesome and gritty and definitely not safe for the faint of heart or weak of stomach. I mean, extremely explicit and descriptive gore. But man, was it ever awesome! Good guys win, bad guys die - horribly in most cases. The world is made safe once more. Woohoo!

The Nazi's are back and they are working with terrorists from the Baader-Meinhof gang! This book did provide an interesting mystery as well as an interesting piece of history involving an infamous Nazi hunter patterned after Simon Wiesenthal.

A spin off series from his Executioner books. This series follows several secondary characters that band together. Recommended
