I love the Rosemont series and look forward to reading about the wonderful characters in the lovely town of Westbury. This latest book was delightful as well. Being a big dog-lover, the storyline about the guide dogs was especially interesting to me. I can’t wait until the next book comes out!

Great Storyline

As Frank and Loretta embark on the journey of raising twins, the struggles become apparent. David’s story enlarges his future and Maggie seems to be on the verge of another crisis.

In the latest installment of the Rosemont series, Frank is overjoyed with the birth of his twins, madly in love with his wife and family, but dealing with issues of self-worth, depression, OCD, and more due to a mistake he made in the past. Will he realize he needs help before it’s too late?

With hired help and friends, Loretta is finally getting back to normal dealing with the care of her twins, her other children, and everyday life. She’s even joined the book club, where books are usually the last thing talked about, if at all.

David Wheeler is heading to dog training school in California with the hope of becoming a seeing eye dog trainer and working with Frank back home in Westbury.

And we know there’s more that will be going on with Maggie once she reads the text messages she’s been receiving. Hope it’s not bad news.

Love this series!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Simplistic

There are good parts to this book and some things that are not so good. Firstly, when authors decide to write a series of books, it should be mandatory that a list of characters and their relation to the town and other characters be included at the beginning. There can be a year or more between books, and because many of us are avid readers it is often hard to remember each character. Secondly, there is a lot of dialogue between characters in these books that is so simplistic as to detract from the story. Thirdly, the occasional exaggeration of wording is off - putting. Example: their smiles reached each others' souls. Ugh. Finally, the cliffhangers at the end are unwelcome and usually unneeded. The good parts of these books include learning new things. The postpartum depression discussion was interesting as were the ongoing service dog training explanations.

Oh, my goodness, I loved this book and the whole series. The story line flows so smoothly and the characters are so real. I just want to go to lunch with them at Pete’s. I giggled when they were discussing their book club and only 2-3 ladies actually read the book. When I was in a book club, we had 1 or 2 that didn’t read the book, but the friendships and comradery more than made up for that. Just like these ladies, that’s what was most important. I’m looking forward to see how David and Frank get their new endeavor up and running. Loved the book and the characters!! I received an ARC of this book, but my opinion is my own.

When I started reading "When Dreams There Be" it was as though I was rejoining my friends whom I hadn't seen for awhile. It was great to become acquainted with the new twins and to catch up with friends in the community of Westbury. However, no community or family is without problems and author, Barbara Hinske, delves into a medical problem which I believe is not well known to the public. Her treatment of this problem and bringing it to the forefront of our awareness makes reading this book well worth it. We also get to catch up with everyone in the community and with their activities, dreams and ambitions which is a real treat. Another great read from Barbara Hinske!

When I first met the folks of the Rosemont series, Frank Haynes was the villain. There have been numerous changes and challenges and now Frank finds himself with three stepchildren, a wife and twin babies. Sadly, Frank doesn't feel he is deserving. Meanwhile, much of the community is working to raise money for a new seeing eye dog school to add to the animal shelter. This too should fill Frank with joy because the no kill shelter is so important to him. I love how the seeing eye dog program relates so well to another series by this author, Guiding Emily. And I love getting back to these beloved characters.

Barbara Hinske has again done what she does best, drawn me into her book and involved me with her characters. She shows us how a village is a valuable asset when you had newborn twins, 3 other children and suddenly your husband shows major signs of depression and withdraws from daily life. Frank is saved from us wanting to kill him for his attitude when we can see he is miserable. Just when things are going very well for Maggie and John we get the hint there might be trouble for them in the next book. I’m also wanting to see what Frank does with all his plans for the future. Oh, what dreams there be indeed. See, I’m hooked, ready and waiting for the next book.

When Dreams There Be takes the reader back to Westbury and the complicated and intriguing lives of its inhabitants. The author does a great job of weaving multiple story lines together with numerous twists and turns along the way. As in her other books, she writes about real life struggles with understanding and compassion. A heartwarming, engaging read.

Thank you to the author for this advanced review copy. In return, I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Loretta Hayes has just give. North to her newborn twins. Husband Frank is enamored with the babies, yet something is bothering him. Loretta is actively caring for the twins and is blessed by her friends who pitch in to provide meals and support for the growing family. Meanwhile life in Rosemont moves on as a valuable brooch is about to go to auction. Frank accompanies David to California to help him locate a place to live before entering Guide Dog Training school

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion

Another great installment in the Rosemont series! I have read all of the books in the series and this one does not disappoint. We learn more about the reinvention of Frank Haynes with a deep dive into his inner conflict and how he is working through it in seeking his true self and happiness. Many characters' big hearts and help develop other seamlessly woven storylines in this book, and we are left with something from Maggie's past niggling at the back of her mind plus a missed phone call that may or may not impact her life! I am ready for the next book already!

This is the ninth book in Barbara Hinske’s enjoyable Rosemont series. Loretta and Frank welcome their twins and all of town pitches in to help. Small town life at its best. There’s also a few new additions and many upcoming changes, along with several twists and turns. Barbara will certainly need to write book # 10 soon!!!
I was fortunate to read an advance copy. I would encourage you to pick up yours!

Great read!!

This continues the story of Frank and Loretta. Frank is now the father of twins. He finds himself questioning his self worth. I read this book in one day. I hope Barbara continues this story. I loved being able to keep up with the characters of this story. Read the series and become connected to the people of this town. You will be glad you did. I was an advanced reader for this book. A solid, wholesome read 9th in the Rosemont Series by Barbara Hinske. The characters are strong, the life lessons illustrated are solid. There is just enough intrigue and suspense to keep readers engaged.
If you are a fan of The Mitford Series by Jan Karon, you will find this series enjoyable as well.
Well done Barbara Hinske, we’ll done.
P.S. Please don’t wait too long to bring us the 10th book in this series!

The Rosemont series of books are set in a close knit community that feels like small town America. So each time a new book comes out, it feels like going home again. This 9th book felt exactly the same. If you want to feel-good, light-hearted read with a little bit of mystery and romance thrown in, the Rosemont series of books is for you.

Where Dreams There Be, book 9, in the Rosemont series by Barbara Hinske doesn’t disappoint. It’s a heartwarming story that pulls you in. The townsfolk of Westbury have come together to help David achieve his dream to open a Guide Dog Training School. There’s found treasures, auctions and someone’s past surfaces, that could affect their new life they built. I give it 5 stars!

When Dreams There Be continues with birth of twins, David's plans to train in California, the auction of a broach to help fund the guide dog training school and more. I really enjoy visiting this engaging world Ms. Hinske created. I love these characters! It sounds like Maggie's world will be tumultuous in the next book which I am eagerly awaiting!

It was great for Loretta to have those twins. Frank has a lot on his plate.
The community steps up to help when the twins come home. One meal a day for awhile.
The community finally getting another vet.
Amazing how she can update so many stories in one book.
Come back and relax in Westbury.

A good story for fans of the series

This book continues the dtorylines of tha major characters. I would not recommend this book to new readers who have not read any of the previous books. For those who have read the previous 8 books, I recommend this book, which held my attention and I thoroughly enjoyed.

I found this to be very enjoyable, as well as informative. It was great to see how the characters have progressed to big changes in their lives. It’s very well written and researched, but I think it ended a little too abruptly. I’m looking forward to what I hope will be a continuation of the Rosemont series!

Such a fun series

I hated to see it end. Loved getting to know the characters and each book always had a twist that kept you coming back
With the way it ended the author left herself open for a #10?
