I had to force myself to finish this book, and it's only because I'd read the other two that I dragged myself through this book. As with the previous books, the author loves to stick to a few descriptions and repeat them throughout the book. You will be reminded constantly that it's snowing and cold, and if Luna was still a human she'd probably freeze to death. If you happen to forget that you're reading a book about vampires, don't worry because you'll be reminded at least once per page. There's three POVs in this book and I did enjoy reading the Queen's POV but having three was a bit much and to be honest we probably could've done without Sebastian's viewpoint in this book because 95% of his chapters were just him gushing about Luna, saying how she was "mine" or the lightness to his darkness 🤦🏼♀️. The "big fight" happens about 85% into the book was very anticlimactic.

I am beyond upset and frustrated with how this series ended. The Binding Chronicles had such an amazing beginning, a mediocre second book, and whatever this was. Why would you EVER introduce a prophecy in the last 20% of a book!!! And why would you ever say "oh, if you want to know more about this, come read my complete other series!"
No, I don't want to read an entirely separate series to figure out what's going on. For now, I say my goodbyes to Luna, the eternal researcher, and to Sebastian - the definition of a book boyfriend.

Repetitive and completely annoying
I found it ridiculously hard to get through this book. The never ending repetitiveness just about drove me crazy. "He/she is mine," "I'll do anything for her," "poor me," , "everything is all my fault" .... It goes on and on!
I couldn't even finish the book. I really wanted to see how it ended. But I just can't. It is driving me to tears!
I don't like to give bad reviews, but this one just did me in. The story itself was decent, thus two stars instead of one.

And we’re done. This one definitely dragged the most but we did have some fun side quests AND a new POV (which that was crazy). There were a lot of flashbacks in this book that I felt were unnecessary mostly because they were boring.

Overall book - 3.5 star rating
This book felt like it hits an abrupt closing. A solid 90% of Treasured is a complete story. I specifically felt that Gallea was pulling the story to a complete close. Until page 343. The last 100 pages of Treasured was written almost in haste to the finish and leaves much to be answered/explained. This series needs a 4th book.

↪️ The whole Binding Chronicles focuses on a prophecy about the harbinger, the sunwalker, and the weilder of shadows. With such significance to the story, I imagined finding out more about what the prophecy meant and what was the importance of each role. However, what you get initially is all you get. The rest, the characters basically guess on.

Marius barely has time to register what he is, his purpose, etc. before he's needed to fulfill the prophecy. (Luna literally tells him 24 hrs. before they leave to challenge the queen.) When the time for them to unite arises, Marius (the harbinger) isn't even present at the battle. All the three of them have to do is touch and essentially charge themselves to full battery. 🤔
↪️ Throughout the entire series, there's a looming dark queen in another kingdom threatening to take over. At the end of Treasured, Sebastian and Luna simply state that they'll have to take care of her at some point and that is left at that. 🤯

The forward casually mentions that the Battle of Balance took place, ultimately restoring the lands' balance. Apparently, Luna added to her reputation as queen because she fought so bravely, but you see none of this; you're just told about it in 2 pages. This should've been the 4th book, giving readers a glimpse into Sebastian and Luna's reign.

I would like to begin by thanking the author for the e-ARC reading opportunity in exchange for an honest review of the book.
My actual rating is closer to about a 3.25
The beloved Sebastian and Luna pair experience so much in this book and seeing them remain strong, patient, and loyal to each other amongst it all was so rewarding for this final installment. The stakes went up exponentially in this and the pair must embark on a journey for survival and freedom for the entirety of the country.
Sebastian and Luna are really freaking adorable and I see no other way to describe this as wholesome. As in the other books their moments brought little smiles to my face. This series has no explicit spice in it but there are subtle insinuations and rather steamy moments that are more emotional than erotic, which was still really nice. The dynamic between our main couple has always been my absolute favorite thing about the story in addition to the gothic vibes. These two have always been about the small touches, words of affirmation, and overall supportive presence. All very super cute.
My only qualms with the story continues to be the repetition. A lot of phrases, information, and overall scene progression are repeated throughout the course of the book and because we are 3 books in, it got incredibly tedious.The story has really good points and potential, but sometimes the repetition really does get to the reader. That being said though , I did generally enjoy this conclusion to the series.
I really enjoyed the side characters, especially Marius. He was such a bright little adorable light that basically became Seb + Luna's surrogate child. Their little family moments were incredibly heartwarming.
The epilogues were super cute and good for my heart. It was nice to feel a kind of closure for the end of the story. I absolutely adored seeing Sebastian and Luna step into their new roles and absolutely own it. I haven't read the other series connected to this one but I am curious after the little nuggets we got in the last 5% of the story. To sum up my thoughts, this entire series was a fun read and I had a good time.

Overall I would have to say I was slightly disappointed with the final installment of this trilogy. I found myself having to take multiple breaks from reading just due to the overwhelming number devotion of love chapters. It just became so repetitive and seemed to halt all plot continuation.
What I did enjoy was the POV of the Queen. I can honestly say I looked forward to these chapters and enjoyed every single one of them.
I wish there was more looking back into Sebastian's past, but the one chapter that looked back was definitely enjoyable. It allowed us a further look into who he was before his making.
Overall I enjoyed this trilogy, but Tethered was by far the best read of the set .
Can't wait to read more from this world 🖤

The easiest way to describe the entire series would be a nice YA vampire romantasy. I enjoyed it, it wasn't one of the best I've read, but still, it was a good one. It has all the right tropes - arranged marriage, forced proximity, he falls first, so if you enjoy those tropes, you will love The Binding Chronicles series.
The third installment wraps everything up nicely, we get a closure, but also a glimpse into another parts of the world the author has created. This series takes place in the same world as the author's other series, The Ithenmyr Chronicles and I look forward to reading it as well.

I love Sebastián and Luna and have been hooked on their story from the first book!
That being said, this book felt disappointing.
Did it have a happily ever after for the characters I liked? Yes.
But the book felt unnecessarily dragged out, the main characters were slow to grasp what was happening, and the ending was somehow still rushed, leaving some serious plot holes.
So, while this gets major points for the scene with the frozen waterfall and the scenes with Phyrra. It gets docked points for managing to drag on and feel rushed at the same time.
Love a good HEA with cats though! 😸

Luna and Sebastian story comes to a close. It's not a masterpiece, but it was fun. I would say there are plot holes but, there are other series that provide more details. I don't think I will be reading them. It wasn't really a soild 3.5 ⭐️ stars but I needed a clear happy ending and that is what I got.

My favorite part of this book was when I finished it 😅 Son’t get me wrong - I love vampires and fated loves but somehow this series sucked the fun out of it (no pun intended 🤣) and the romance portion really dragged on. Lots of repetitiveness by the end. Overall, I am glad I read this series, but it’s not one I’d reread.

We get it. They are madly in love. No one knows why though. After 2 books, this third one just feels like all previous materials have been recycled and reused. Keep seeing exactly the same sentences and words. No variation whatsoever. Not for me.

I felt like this finale was rushed. I read another reviewer who mentioned that this series' fade to black sex scenes feel strange and don't fit with the vampire trope so much and I'd have to agree - I wanted more but the Luna honestly didn't seem that interested sexually and emotionally both her and Sebastian seem distracted from each other. Constantly being interrupted or thoughts being interrupted.
I was also frustrated at the use of prophecy and the fulfilment of prophecies and how the main character didn't acknowledge or confirm the poetry of those prophecies. Like her brother was supposed to be a big deal for their final battle with the queen but all he had to do was touch her and he didn't even have to be present for the battle at all? Or when she met the Nightwing and talked about the dragon rider but when one showed up she didn't even recall what the Nightwing had said to her about it? Also her witch from her city told her to look for the fourth order of Isvara but someone just says they haven't heard of them in a long time and then that's it? Second order it is?
I finished this series because I have a completionist problem but this felt too simple for me .

Death to the Queen! A lot happened in this 3rd and final book, yet the author still managed to leave a huge plot hole in regard to Luna. From book 1 knew Luna was special, she was able to push through the persusian. In book 2, we get blood tears, and her transition is happening much faster than other vampires. In book 3, we get sunwalker and visits from the goddesse Isvana. So how over 3 books does none of that get explained. As happy as I was to see the Queens' demise, I was very frustrated that the enigma that was Luna was never flushed out. The author seemed to have forgotten about that and decided to flush out the Queens' backstory instead. It was nice seeing what turned the queen so evil. I figured it was based on love and betrayal, and I was right. Overall, the series held my interest, and there were many themes such as choice, love, loss, trust, and betrayal.

I really struggled with this. I actually ended up skimming a ton because it was just so, so repetitive. We get how the tether works by now, there’s no reason to keep explaining it. And every time there were paragraphs of declarations of love between Luna and Sebastian it just took me right out of the story and made me lost interest. The parts that moved the plot forward I really enjoyed, but overall it could’ve been so much shorter and less repetitive.

While the series started with an interesting premise, I found the ending to be seriously disappointing. 2/3 of the book were Sebastian or Luna discussing their love for each other and how that couldn’t live without each out. Sebastian - so called Prince of Darkness, is constantly getting hurt and being saved by Luna. And overall, there is very little action or mystery. Even Marguerite’s back story is really one-dimensional. For me, this book just didn’t meet the bar.

In this last installment of the Binding Chronicles we follow Sebastian and Luna in their quest to kill queen Marguerite, cure Marius and rid Eleyta of the terrible darkness infecting the land. I really enjoyed the quest they embarked on to decipher the prophecy and to find a cure for Marius. I was glad he was healed and him and Luna could be reunited.
Luna and Sebastian's relationship is so sweet. Their love declarations were cute -albeit a bit repetitive at times- and their devotion to each other was goals. I do love it has some realistic arguement that didn't detract from their relationship but added to it.
Queen Marguerite's POV was certainly interesting, we get to see how evil she really is. And let me tell you, she is so damn evil! I am so glad she is gone at last. Her memories just confirm how truly bad she is. And that, with her final descent into absolute insanity, make her deserve what she got.
Sebastian's memories broke my heart a bit. He deserves all the happiness. Also, can we take a minute to talk about that marriage proposal? He is the biggest cinnamon-roll-soft-only-for-her baddie ever!!
Luna had her scientific nature tested time and again. Magic and science coexisting was not something she was planning to get used to. I loved to see how much stronger and braver she has become.
I'd read a book only about how cool Isvana is.
Also, can I get a Nightwing as a pet?

A solid finale to the Binding Chronicles series.
Sebastian and Luna were back, and their romance couldn't have been stronger. I just loved them.
And of course, the dark, gothic atmosphere was there. It was chef's kiss.
The main premise of this story was these two going through the process of breaking Sebastian's bond with Queen Marguerite and killing her. This involved meeting with witches and priestesses to gain information and collect certain required items. The book's pacing was slow in these parts. Also, in almost every scene, Sebastian and Luna were getting hurt and had to heal each other. It made me think were these repetitive parts necessary? No. Despite that, I liked the dialogue between the two during the journey, similar to that of the last books. I cannot forget about the mental conversations they had as well, through their telepathic powers.
Another plotline was Luna's brother, Marius, waking up from his coma. He was a sweet kid. It made me happy to see the two siblings united and see Sebastian feel joy for his wife. The nicknames the siblings had for each other were rather strange yet made me chuckle.
It was cool to see a third POV - Marguerite's perspective. I heard her backstory through that and was able to understand why she hated humans so much. It all made perfect sense.
The ending was a satisfying one. It was nice seeing Luna and Sebastian as the new rulers of the kingdom.

Sebastian and Luna were back, and their romance couldn't have been stronger. I just loved them.
And of course, the dark, gothic atmosphere was there. It was chef's kiss.
The main premise of this story was these two going through the process of breaking Sebastian's bond with Queen Marguerite and killing her. This involved meeting with witches and priestesses to gain information and collect certain required items. The book's pacing was slow in these parts. Also, in almost every scene, Sebastian and Luna were getting hurt and had to heal each other. It made me think were these repetitive parts necessary? No. Despite that, I liked the dialogue between the two during the journey, similar to that of the last books. I cannot forget about the mental conversations they had as well, through their telepathic powers.
Another plotline was Luna's brother, Marius, waking up from his coma. He was a sweet kid. It made me happy to see the two siblings united and see Sebastian feel joy for his wife. The nicknames the siblings had for each other were rather strange yet made me chuckle.
It was cool to see a third POV - Marguerite's perspective. I heard her backstory through that and was able to understand why she hated humans so much. It all made perfect sense.
The ending was a satisfying one. It was nice seeing Luna and Sebastian as the new rulers of the kingdom.

Overall enjoyed. Parts of this book seemed to drag and parts of the plot that just haven’t been explained which is annoying but I’m glad I read to finish the series.
There was a new pov which worked to show why the queen is the way she is but I thought it was a pretty lame and weak reason. I didn’t much enjoy her chapters and I don’t think they were that necessary.
Things that bug me in the series that should have been explained: Why is Luna special and what does it mean? Why fight on the blood moon, it didn’t seem to do anything? What is the darkness that affected the land? What’s the significance of the fire queen? What is the point of Marius and the wasting illness - seriously, this whole plot could have been abandoned. It was worthless and so is his character.
Overall a simple read that I enjoyed but a bit underwhelmed with the series. It started out promising but it just went a bit down hill.
