A cute and sexy novella

A typical but very well written shifters insta-love novella.

Loved that the author gava some depth to the characters, especially the FMC.


It's not gonna win a Nobel of course, but it's the perfect palate cleanser.

Awkward Doctor

Awkward Doctor should have been the name of the book. He has a hard time being able to speak to her. It's understandable from the point where he really didn't have any social skills because of his parents.

This was a fantastic fated mates romance. I simply loved the storyline, especially way Jax and Parker had a very different idea of how the conversation about shifters went, it was really funny. I loved their chemistry and the steamy bit. I really enjoyed reading this story.

A great shifter story! Jax is so sweet and caring, loved how he was trying to be more sociable and learn some jokes to cheer up his mate. We also got a little glimpse to Micah and Asher who will hopefully get their own books.

Molto simile al suo predecessore, questo secondo volume risulta tuttavia più divertente grazie all'adorabile goffaggine di Jax, che ce la mette davvero tutta per conquistare la sua compagna predestinata dal cucinare per lei al raccontarle orribili barzellette XD Ovviamente insieme a questi momenti dolci e affettuosi non mancano altri più vivaci che rendono la lettura un piacere!

HOW DID I MISS THIS???!!!!???? I would have read this when it came out! That's ok though, because I did a 2 book read, "Bound the the Doctor" followed by "Fated by the Doctor". It was a good reading day!

Jax! I need a Jax in my life, he is the perfect (and my now) book boyfriend! He is the PERFECT hero. He is sweet, direct, doesn't understand social cues so he gets flustered, fumbles with his words and action, he is endearing, he is awkward, loving, protective, and he just makes me want to hug him! This giant cinnamon roll must be protected! I love him!
Parker is adorable and she reacted exactly how I thought she would, that this tall, handsome doctor at her bedside, telling her that he is a wolf and they are mated, just went, "uh huh" and sweet sweet Jax thought that the conversation went well. Oh, you sweet hunk of a man...he scared her, then he showed up at her hotel was so funny! She had a bad skiing accident and her femoral artery was pierced by a tree branch, so she almost dies, and when he scented her he knew he had to bite her to give her his shifter healing. The rest is just a pleasure to read! *sigh swoon...more sighing* And I don't know how many times I went "awww"....just so cute!! whenever Jax is flustered and tries to make Parker laugh..he is as cute as a pup! (appropriate!)
Luna Wilder knows and understands fated mates and I am in love with her books. Pick any of her fated mates books, they are all safe, one true love stories (double virgins)....as it should be! The shifters don't get hard, are never interested in other females until they find their mate, then they are all in! The humans are never attracted to others either until they find their one! THAT is what fated mates is all about, two souls yearning, longing and searching, until they finally find each other and join together. To me it isn't just for fated mates, it is for any love story, TRUE love stories ,which is why I love dual virgins the best.
Jax is my favorite, read it and you'll see! You'll fall in love with him!
I will be rereading her whole series of shifter books, just one after another, but save this one for last because it is by far my favorite!

Jax is a doctor at Aspen Ridge Medical Hospital in Aspen Ridge Alaska. The unusual fact about the small community is that they are majorally Shifters and, as which, they have to abide by certain rules when they encounter their fated mate and she or he happens to be human. In other words, they cannot mark a human by biting them without their consent.

Jax has been hoping to find his fated mate for a long time now but without any success. This is about to change.

Parker is a young woman who lost her mother young, was raised by her father and had developed a great relationship with him untill he got remarried to a gold digging woman who wants the father all to herself and berates Parker at every turn. . At the invite of her father and stepmother, she goes on a vacation to Aspen Ridge.

On a skiing adventure, she injures herself very badly and her femoral artery is severed leading to a highly probable loss of life. She is rushed to Aspen Ridge Medical Hospital where she is taken charge of by none other than Jax who proves to be dominant, obsessive and highly possessive.

The author succeeds in capturing the reader's attention in this short but full of consequence story where the future of two persons will be decided before the next full moon. I was disappointed by this second book in the series as the same thing happens to the characters to create an attraction between the two, special circumstances are similar and the ending is pretty much the same. I rate it 3 Stars.

Finding my Mate

Jax is on edge. He has found peace in his profession as a doctor in a small shifter town in Alaska. He still has no contact with his parents since they disapproved of his decision to become a doctor, instead of following in their footsteps as a lawyer.
His wolf continues to prowl and grumble, displeased that Jax hasn’t tried harder to find their mate. But Jax has promised to take a short vacation and start really looking. Until, she was rushed into the emergency room, bleeding out on the gurney. His mate and she was dying before his eyes. Jax will do whatever it takes to save her.
It’s done. Now he just has to convince this curvy, luscious human that they belong together.
At its core, this novella brings two people together, a shifter and a human, in their own way searching to build a life full of love, that their parents are no longer giving them. Both have parents who have become distant. Both have defied their parents to follow their own path, Parker recently graduated from culinary school. But it’s Jax who at first knows they will are meant to be with each other, are meant to build a family together filled with love. Now he just has to convince Parker.
This steamy romantic tale focuses mainly on how they met. A quick read with a light touch and a HEA.

Rescuing His Mate . . .

Dr. Jax Carson was working in the emergency room when Parker Bailey is wheeled in needing emergency surgery. She was badly hurt in a skiing accident, damaging the femoral artery, and it appears that she won’t survive this even with the surgery. Jax already recognized her as his fated mate. So to save her life, he bites her and turns her into a wolf shifter. Now the difficult part begins when he has to tell her about shifters and convince her that they belong together. Will she listen to him? Will she believe what he is telling her? Or will he have to work to convince her he is not only telling the truth but they are now mates?

The story line is well-written and the characters are realistic (in my paranormal world, at least). I enjoyed their interaction together. Well done!

I loved Bound To The DoctorBook 2 of Aspen Ridge Pack: Shifter M.D. Parker was hurt in a skiing accident and Jax is her doctor but he’s also her mate and the only way to save her is to claim her. Now he has to explain that he’s a wolf and her mate, should be simple right? Except Parker thinks he’s crazy and leaves the hospital with her dad and stepmom. Jax will always find her and he does. Can Parker believe him when he says forever and can she stay with him in Alaska? This was a sweet story and I love the characters. I can’t wait for the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Jax is lonely and has been looking for his mate for a long time. During a slow shift in the ER a young woman is wheeled in at death's door. One whiff and he recognises his mate. With only one chance to save her, he bites her and claims her as his mate.

Jax thinks everything will be plain sailing from then on, but the fun has only just begun.

Parker wakes up in hospital to be greated by a psychopath saying she's his mate. Not being a shifter, what's a girl to do?

Wonderful, entertaining, hot fun. Luna has a light touch and creates wonderful, likeable characters. Can't wait for the next in the series.

This is book number 2 of the Aspen Ridge Pack: Shifter M.D series and focuses on Jax and Parker. Jax had been actively searching for his mate since he came of age to find her. He regularly went out to try and find her without any success. When Parker is brought into the ER with serious injuries Jax realizes that she's his mate and is in danger of dying due to her injuries. He bites her to save her and then has to do a bit of work to win his mate over. Parker was ready to get away from her dad and her new stepmom but she was not expecting to find Jax. They were perfect for each other and really brought out the best in each other. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Jax and Parker

This was the second book in the series and it was good just like the first one. If you like shifter stories with some spice, A little drama and a strong male and female lead characters, then this is the book for you.
Jax is a doctor who is looking for his mate. He thinks he will just find her and settle down and live a quiet life but then Parker is brought into the ER and needs help. She was skiing and had a fall. She was dying and Jax made a choice to save her the best way possible.. But will she agree or even understand what has happened when she wakes up??
I did not like Parker's dad or step mom and if you read the book, you probably won't like them either!!

This story starts out with Jax wanting a mate so bad. He and his wolf long for that one person to make them whole. When Parker comes to the hospital I love his reaction and the process he takes to keep her alive. After their talk the next day - lol you can see what he can not see. When his friend confronts him .. Well it is funny and right on point. This story flowed very good. Jax fell immediately in love but Parker not so much which is good. Now it did not take long however to realize that fate had given her the perfect mate. I also enjoyed the last chapter very much. I like it when they give you a glimpse of the future.

Bound to the Doctor is the second book in the series and is Parker and Jax's journey.

Jax is a doctor and his wolf wants him to find his mate, but he has been busy at the hospital that he has not had time. When a patience comes with life threating injuries, Jax realizes who she is.

Parker is in town on vacation with her father and his wife, when she gets into an accident. At the hospital, she wakes up to find a handsome man watching her and her injuries not as bad as she thought.

This is a good fast read that with a bit of family drama, hot steamy moments and a love that connects the soul.

Jax is in for another long night at the hospital, not much happens, until a woman is being brought in. As soon as her catches her scent, he knows she is his mate. She is bleeding out, losing a lot of blood. The only option is to bite her or he will lose her.

Will she be accepting when she wakes? Can he convince her they are bound together by fate? Jax is not used to reading people so it takes a bit to convince her.

Classic Shifter / Human Fated Mate Romance!!

Parker end up in Jax Carson’s emergency room. He knows traditional medicine cannot save her, that she is his mate, and that he can save her if he gives her the mating bite.

What he doesn’t get, is that she does not feel that same pull, doesn’t believe in shifters, and just wants to get away from him. Neither of these two have had a stellar upbringing, so have some emotional issues. The working out of these issues is entertaining. Nice story.

Wow! I swear this series is absolutely 💯% 🔥🔥🔥! If you thought the first book in this series was fire, then you need to read this one.

Jax knows that Parker is his mate as soon as he sees her on the stretcher. The chemistry/drama between Jax and Parker is lit as soon as they lock their eyes.
I highly highly recommend this book. It's a fast-paced read and very enjoyable. It's sexy, steamy, funny and the epilogue will make you smile. This author has a new fan!

This is a quick, steamy, and very sweet read.

Parker is Jax’s patient and fated mate and will die on the operating table without his bite. So he saves her life and then begins the task of trying to explain his decision and shifters, in general, to a human.

Their story feels genuine and Jax, while labeling himself antisocial, is actually very tender and sweet.

This was a fun and steamy romance that brings together Dr Jax and dying patient, Parker. He knew she was his mate and was desperate to save her...so save her he did and then had the fall-out of having explain shifters and mating and how they're meant to be to a full human. It took some time but they had fab chemistry, so that helped ;) With some family drama thrown in to keep things hopping, this was a one-sit read for me :D
