Renaissance man at age 83? Maybe not quite. But Bill whitworth comes close. He was an infantry man in WWII, played drums in a USO band and then went to Georgia Tech under the GI bill. He had a career as a training executive at Southern Bell and later owned and operated a cattle farm. Then the acting bug bit him and he had a recurring role on "In the Heat of the Night", a starring role in an Atlanta TV station award winning documentary and recently played the role of Jackknife Jack in the film "Ghost Town, the Movie". He has now fulfilled his life long dream of writing a mystery novel.
