This book was a present from a dear friend of mine. I was surprised when I got it because it is one of those books I would never pick up from a bookshelf, but since it was a gift, I decided to give it a go and started 2024 with it by my bedside.

Throughout the reading, I have noticed changes in my life, which means that Crawford's journey also significantly changed my own. It was only at the very end that I disagreed with the author because one of the chapters upset me in a way I can't describe.

However, although I was shocked by what I have read, the whole experience was mostly positive. Having taken time to read about someone else's journey reminded me that no experience is individual. We all share something, and even though I don't agree with the author fully, I respect her journey and thriving.

When I tell you the tears were streaming down my face multiple times during this book... Its like a reality check of what YOU need to hear.

When Georgie mentioned the embryo transfer not going through because of the war my heart shattered. I felt her pain.
I cried as if it was my hope that had been taken straight from me. The way Georgie illiterates her feelings and her personal life in this book has me starstruck.

For a while, I thought self help books were useless. They never related to me, or they were too wordy.

Without even realizing I began quoting and linking the book into daily conversations. I don't think I've ever said my internal self more than I had within reading the first few chapters of this book.

I read 3/4 of the book on my first sitting- To say I was captivated would be an understatement. it was as if Georgie had written this book for me. My life, thoughts, and feelings, were staring me straight in the face word for work.

I listen to Georgie's podcast "The Good Glow " about life and wellness. She has some interesting guests like Martha Beck, and her most recent Emma Kehoe. So I decided to read her book. It tells Georgie's story of her illness, career and how she changed her life around. It offers practical and helpful tips in how to live the life you desire. Some of the book really hit a chord. I really enjoyed it and have definitely used some of her advice

I loved this book Georgie is a super human, I loved the stories the tips, the outlook Georgie has. I think this book would especially be amazing for anyone starting self discovery or looking for better ways to live life. The only reason I gave 4 is I use 1/2 of these tips already. I definitely enjoyed it & I’ll be starting the Georgies podcast today. She should be extremely proud of herself.

Oh my gosh - I really loved this book! It was everything I feel and everything I needed to hear. Normally I usually always have a side read of fiction book at the same time as a biographical but this gripped me. I wanted to slow down and take this page by page and let it seep into me. I will reread!

At times it felt like Georgie had looked into my soul, our thought patterns were so similar. Gave me hope that I too can break free from that negative mindset and shackles of my own making. Have already put some tips into practise and feel a difference.

Some pause- for- thought moments and little golden nuggets throughout, which compliments nicely one of my favourite podcasts- the Good Glow.
