I am so happy to have found this book. We are serious about counting the Omer in our congregation. Following a custom of Rabbi Everett Gendler, z'l, we plant omer (this year winter rye) with the kids at Sukkot and it begins to grow at Passover when we start to count and "harvest." This year the omer was taller than some of our adult gardeners. But paired with this book, we can begin to make the world a better place, in kid terms. My only regret...I only bought one and I believe in intellectual property rights and didn't want to photocopy individual pages for the kids. Another regret is this would be a one and done thing. I wish there were a way to make it so it can be used year after year. But mark my words, every day of Torah School that we were in session, we talked about this book and counting and making the world kinder. THANK YOU! PS: I also know some of the contributors personally and I felt like they were with me as we counted.
