DNF. I really need to find a book that makes me forget time... that makes me look up when I realise it has got dark. Sighs.

One of my least favourite tropes... manwhores, for me, are just not appealing. I couldn't give one iota that they have fucked around... or got head in their car, I just don't want to know about it. It makes me very uneasy - and it all smacks way too much of 'taming the playboy' - that can fuck right off and can keep fucking right off. I have to say, I am equal opportunities hater of this trope... although, it is far rarer for it to be the female. So, I stopped when they were ordering food and 'bantering'...

Anyway, it seems that NM is very hit and miss for me... this series is a bit of a miss.

This was just okay. The hero and heroine are best friends. The heroine's sister dies and she needs to get custody of her baby and she's told she has a better chance if she's married, even though her sister named her guardian in her will. They get fake married. The story was fine, but nothing was exciting and the romance wasn't something I was pulled into and obsessed with. I also didn't feel the emotions I expected from a story about loss and gaining custody of her niece. I was excited to pick up Natasha Madison, but this one just wasn't for me.

What could go wrong tying the knot with your best friend in a fake marriage?
Eva thought that marrying Levi to get the full custody of her baby niece was her easiest way, unfortunately she did not take into account that sleep next to the hottest man in the world every night would have tested her friendship.

Eva is a strong and resolute woman, I'm in awe of her work ethic and her love for the people in her life. Levi is a good man who only needs a push to get his priorities straight. They have a beautiful friendship and their fear to ruin it is understandable, their battle between refrain and attraction is intriguing and entertaining.I adored to see them become a family and to finally understand the true depth of their feelings.
I really liked the main characters, but my favourite character is the baby girl that brought those two stubborn parents she got together.

Mine To Honor is a very good read. This story made me swoon for its sweetness, and at times made me shed some tears.
I highly recommend to read it.

OMG I LOVED THIS. Friends to lovers / fake marriage can be tricky but woah Natasha killed it. I legit go feral for a man who takes on the daddy role perfectly without preparing and Levi does just that.

I did not want this to end AT ALL.

My favorite parts of this book were the scenes between Levi and baby Cici. I loved how he went into immediate " Dad" mode and was so caring towards her.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Mine to Honor is the seventh book in Natasha Madison's the Southern Wedding series.  This is another friends to lovers romance but with a fake marriage and forced proximity added in the mix, which made the situation quite interesting.  I thought about giving upon the series after my disappointment with the last two books. Well as you can see I chose to give it another chance. The story on whole was adorable and sweet. The romance, though not on par with the earlier books in the series, was better than the last two books.

Mine to Honor tells Eva and Levi's story.  Best friends for ten years, ever since Stephano introduced them. They are each other's ride or die, they could always count on each other no matter what. When Eva's sister died tragically, Eva needed to gain custody of her nine-month-old niece. Although her sister left the care of her daughter to Eva in her will, to increase her chances of gaining custody Eve needed to get married... and who better to ask, but her ride or die, Levi.

Levi, although scared at the thought of giving up his bachelor life, agreed to Eva's proposition because she needed his help. After all, it's only for one year, but we all know a lot can happen within a year.

Eva and Levi were both great people. Eva is a strong, resolute and driven woman, who fights for what she wants. Traits that's reflected in both her professional and personal life. Levi is not a good guy, but he is also a great friend. They shared a beautiful friendship. One where they are honest with each other and there are no secrets between them. I enjoyed their banter, the way they teased each other made for some amusing moment. My favourite part of the story had to with their interactions with Eva's niece, Cici. Levi jumped into the role of fatherhood so seamlessly. His interactions with Cici were sweet and adorable. For me, this was the highlight of the story.

Not a lot of page time was given to the development of the romance, as it wasn't until the last twenty percent (20%) of the story that our couple gave into the attraction brewing between them. It took them a while to recognise that what they felt for each other went beyond friendship. Their connection has friends made their progression to lovers seamless. It also added a degree of authenticity to the process.

Mine to Honor is a quick, easy and entertaining read. It delivered a sweet romance sprinkled with humour and some spicy moments served on the side.

this was so cute 😭 i am a sucker for any marriage of convenience but this was such a good twist on it

eva gets custody of her sister’s baby after her sister’s passing but her lawyer tells her that being married would help her dealings with the state so she asks her best friend, the perpetual bachelor, levi. their friendship was so funny and then add in watching them become little helicopter parents and then give in to their long buried feelings!!! ugh so cute

This is book 7 in the Southern Wedding series. This is a small town, best friends to lovers, fake marriage and forced proximity romance.

This follows Eva and Levi, after a sudden tragedy hits Eva goes to her best friend Levi for help since her lawyer tells her that she has a better chance in getting custody of her niece if she was married. Levi agrees to marry her, a marriage of convenience at least for one year. The chemistry between Eva and Levi was so good and Levi’s dirty talk was HOT. I loved the connection Levi and Cici had he was so sweet and good to her.

I can’t wait for Grace & Caine’s story. I highly recommend this book, I am obsessed with this series.

Levi & Eva had the cutest story ever! It was lighthearted and drama free and so very enjoyable, mostly because of the cute little baby Cici who was added to the mix! My favorite part was how Levi bonded slowly with Cici, it was so adorable to see him learn everything about parenting and I also loved how he supported Eva by helping her take care of the baby. He & Eva did everything possible to get Cici adapt to her new environment which was really heartwarming. These two were perfect for each other and while it took them some really long time to realise it, I was glad that they ended up together! However, I felt like the book lacked depth and the ending was abrupt but still, it was an enjoyable read nevertheless.

Too much talk about levi being a manwhore.. Their banter wasn't banter at all.. It was too childish and Levi was too dramatic.. The leads had absolutely no chemistry.. Why fake marry if your sister left her niece to you in the will? This whole series was complete crap..

That was such a cute read.😍
After her sister's death, Eva needs to gain a custody of her niece. In order to have a better chance for that, it would be better if she were married, so she asks her best friend Levi to marry her for one year.

Best friends to lovers is my favorite trope and when it's combined with marriage of convenience, it can't be better.❤️‍🔥 I just love when one moment she is just his best friend, and the other he calls her "my wife".😻
What I also appreciate is that they weren't already in love with each other at beginning of the book, like in 95% other books with this trope. I like to see a moment where they don't look at each other just like friends and when they start to wonder what is happening to them.🥹
Stuff I’m not sure I’m ready to talk about. Stuff even I’m shocked about. Stuff, meaning Eva and her being on my mind for the past two fucking weeks. Every single time I look over at her, it’s like there is something new I see that I haven’t seen before. Or maybe I have but I just noticed now, which is flipping my head upside down. I tell myself it’s just because I’m in her space all the time, but even saying that, my head laughs at me.

And when he finally confesses to her his love.😩

“I’m in love with you.” She opens her mouth, but I just continue, “I don’t know when it happened. For the past month, I’ve been trying to show you, hoping you would see it in my eyes every time I looked at you. Hoping you would feel it in my touch every single time I held your hand. Hoping you would see it in my eyes when all I have to do is look at you and smile.” She smiles as one of her tears escapes and I walk up to her and hold her face. “I’m head over heels in love with you.” ❤️

I loved connection between Levi and baby Cici and how he cared for her as if she were his own daughter.☺️

I don’t think I’ve ever loved anyone the way I love this little girl. She owns half of my heart while her aunt owns the other. I rub my hand over her cheek. “Love you, little girl,” I say for the first time out loud.

The only thing I didn't like was how many times the author tried to show that Levi is a manwhore at the beginning of the book. Like I get the point, I don't have to be reminded anymore.😂 (he doesn't sleep with anyone, it's just mentions from before what he did). Also I could survire without their conversation about their freedom to sleep with other people. I get that author tried to show us that they don't even think about crossing the line of friendship at that point of the book, but like I said, I could live without that. (ofc they don't sleep with anyone, nor is it mentioned any more afterwards).

I really liked this book, it was cute and steamy, and if you like this trope, I highly recommend it.💃

This was such a quick and sexy read!! If you've seen the movie Life As We Know It, it totally gave a bit of those vibes with its own take on it! Friends to lovers can sometimes be a bit dull but this hit the mark for sure!! The slow burn was perfect and when things got hot, they got HOT. I wasn't expecting it!! The mouth on BOTH of them?? I was semi anticipating it from Levi but Eva?? MY GIRL YOU ARE BAAAAD. This is the first book I've read by this author and it definitely made me want to read more!! Totally rec!!

I enjoyed Levi and Eva's story. I didn't like that it took them so long to come to their feelings. It was around the 80% mark before they finally acknowledged it, which was frustrating. There was also too much time that spent on talking about how many people Levi was with.

I did love watching Levi be a dad to CiCi. He was great with her. I was surprised to see that people didn't come to them and help more. I mean, the family is a huge thing in all of these authors books, yet this one barely had them in at all.

This was by far my least favorite of all of Natasha Madison's books.

Mine to Honor is the latest addition to the Southern Wedding series by Natasha Madison and this one was so sweet! This is a best friends to lovers, fake marriage, forced proximity, small town romance, with no third act breakup and the heroine becoming the guardian of her niece!

Eva and Levi have been best friends for quite some time when the story starts. After the sudden death of her older sister (a car accident), Eva wants custody of her 9-month old niece so she doesn’t end up in foster care. A lawyer tells her that even though she was the one left in care of her niece in the will, being married will help her gain custody quicker and easier. So Eva approaches her best friend Levi with the marriage of convenience proposal! They get married quickly and start living together to take care of her niece, and all that closeness definitely leads to more between the friends quickly!

This was just a sweet romance! We see some of the characters from the rest of the series make appearances in this one. Eva is the cousin of Stefano (the hero of the previous book, Mine to Promise) and he’s also the friend and business partner to Levi. The audios for this series are really well done and the narrators in this one made it such an easy listen: narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke! This series remains my fav from this author and the covers are especially stunning.

I received an audio ALC from the author, all thoughts in this review are my own! Mine to Honor is out November 3, 2023.

Ok this one was soooo freaking cute!! I enjoyed the previous book in this series but I liked this one even more and I think it’s because it had so many of my favorite things. It has friends to lovers, a fake marriage, forced proximity and the cutest baby that Levi and Eva bond over. There was so much emotion and heart driving the story, when Eva’s sister passes away she is left to raise her niece, Cici and Levi reluctantly agrees to marry her for a year to look better for the courts. Levi is the consummate bachelor but he adores Eva who is his closet friend and he will do anything for her. The scenes with him and the baby were everything, talk about swoony and I loved that Levi and Eva’s relationship was built on such a strong foundation of friendship. While it was super sweet the author always brings the heat and this was no exception SO sexy. I listened to the audio version and Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke always deliver the best performances! So cute, so flirty and so adorable I loved this.

FMC and MMC were absolutely insufferable and the whole “manwhore to loving parent” pipeline happened at lightning speed and made no sense to me. The book starts out by repeatedly expressing that the characters don’t have any attraction to each other and the thought makes them sick but all of a sudden they’re in love and entering parenthood?? I didn’t get any type of connection or chemistry from the characters, the “banter” was annoying and childish.

Overall, nothing really happened in this book and it was a hard read.

4 stars!

Oh, this is such a sweet read! Best friends in a marriage of convenience, caring for a baby and falling in love. It’s sweet, funny and sexy, and I loved it!

This book is the seventh in the Southern Wedding series, and though there is some character crossover, it’s not as intense as in previous books, and you can easily read this one as a standalone.

Eva is loosely tied into Natasha Madison’s series – she is a long-lost cousin of Stefano (through his father, Mark’s family), who has only recently discovered her family after never knowing her father. She also has a previously unknown older sister who she has grown close to. After growing up with pretty much nothing, she has created a good life for herself with her own business and a newly bought house, but her world is upended when a tragedy leaves her scrambling to gain custody of her nine-month old niece, and being a single woman may not cut it.

Levi is Eva’s best friend. Introduced by his other best friend, Stefan, they have grown close and are all up in each other’s lives. They are strictly platonic, with not even a hint of anything more happening between them, which suits Levi who is happy in his bachelor life and has no intention of ever settling down. He is stunned when Eva asks him for an unprecedented favour, but being the type of guy who would do anything to help his friend, he agrees to marry her, to live together for a year so that she can get custody of her niece, and then they’ll go back to being friends.

It's a fantastic set-up, and I loved watching it all unfold. The friendship between Eva and Levi is fantastic – they tease and banter, they’re so open about everything, they get each other, and they care for each other deeply, just not in that way. They support each other completely through the huge change to their lives, and I loved watching them set up house together. But they’re in for a world of shock in caring for a baby, and when combined with the massive shift in their dynamic, it’s so freaking entertaining.

“It’s been two hours,” I state, rubbing my face. “She might be fevering again. Fucking teeth.” I grab the cover, flipping it off me and tossing it onto Eva’s side of the bed. “I don’t think I’ve hated something so much in my whole life.” I turn to look at Eva. “I’ll get a bottle. She didn’t really eat much at dinner, so she might be hungry.”
She gets off the bed, turning to look at me. Her eyes so huge on her faced. “What’s that?” I look where she is pointing down at my shorts that clearly, without a doubt, shows her my dick.
“That would be my dick,” I inform her, too tired to even care at this point.

Of course things start to change, and it’s a slow burn as attraction develops and their feelings for each other change. It’s sweet and sexy, and feels realistic to their situation, and though they have some figuring out to do as their relationship changes, it’s wonderfully angst free, and I loved watching them follow their hearts so completely.

“This thing between me and you.” My lips go into a huge smile. “It’s happening.” She sits up, shocked, her mouth opens and then closes. “I don’t know what it is, but I like it.” I lean in to kiss her cheek. “I like it more than that, I love it.” I hold her neck in my hand. “Coming home to you.” I stare into her eyes. “Going to bed with you. Doing life with you.”

And the only thing better than watching two best friends fall in love, is watching a hero fall in love with a baby girl at the same time, because OMG, Levi is ovary-melting with little Cici. Their moments together are so beautiful, his tenderness and protectiveness over her is gorgeous, and every time that her face lit up when he entered the room, my heart completely melted.

Did I know how unhappy I was before, now that every single day I rushed to get home? Did I know my life was a shallow place whereas now a little girl holds a piece of my heart in her tiny hand and I know I would spend all my life protecting her.

*dreamy sigh*

We get to catch up with characters from earlier books in the series, – Stefano and Addison from the last book in the series (Mine to Promise), and his fabulous parents. And the fact that there is an actual wedding allows the girls from the first books in the series to make a very welcome and highly entertaining appearance that had me laughing out loud.

I really enjoyed this story. It’s a gorgeous read that left me smiling and feeling fluffy, and I loved it.

4 stars.

In "Mine To Honor" by Natasha Madison, I was completely captivated by the enchanting story of Eva and Levi. Their journey from best friends to lovers in the midst of a fake marriage scenario was both heartwarming and irresistible.
Eva's life takes a tragic turn, and her only ray of hope is her adorable niece. When she turns to her best friend Levi for help in a life-altering favor, their lives take an unexpected turn. The concept of a marriage of convenience evolving into something real is beautifully portrayed, and the characters' commitments and genuine emotions are so well-drawn that you can't help but root for their happiness.
The chemistry between Eva and Levi is electric, and as the story unfolds, lines blur, making their journey all the more exciting. Natasha Madison weaves a tale of love, friendship, and commitment that keeps you engaged from start to finish. "Mine To Honor" is a delightful and heartwarming romance that you won't be able to put down.

A marriage of convenience between Eva and Levi is the central theme of this lovely story. There are so many emotions explored in this book and I found myself by turns laughing and blinking back tears. This is a great couple and the turn from friends to more is told with a sense of fun and inevitability as they are so I tune with each other. And the addition of an innocent, well, that clinches it as a winner! 💖💖💖💖

I just knew from the beginning that this book was going to give me all the feels and steal my heart. Mine To Honor (Southern Weddings #7) has done that and so much more as it’s deeply heartfelt and emotional. After Eva’s sister suddenly passes away, she finds out that she’s been named as the caretaker for her baby niece. Eva will do anything to gain permanent custody of her niece including, asking her best friend Levi to marry her.

Levi is a confirmed bachelor with man whorish ways however, he will do just about anything to help Eva. Mine To Honor is one of the reasons why fake marriage and best friends to lovers are my favorite tropes. Levi and Eva’s journey isn’t always smooth and easy. And although this book has some tearful moments, it also has lighthearted and funny scenes especially with Levi and the baby (total ovary explosion). Also, Eva finally finds out what she’s been missing all these years and my goodness Levi is on fire in the bedroom!! I was SO excited when they blurred those lines as their lovemaking is beyond steamy and so arousing!!

I’m thrilled that Natasha Madison continues to keep this fantastic series going and she’s created another beautiful, thoughtful, tender and engaging storyline. Mine To Honor grabbed a hold of me and I didn’t want to let these characters go and it’s one of my favorites in the series.

The main protagonist of this story is ✨CiCi✨ and no one can say otherwise.

At first I was a little hesitant with this story, mainly because it took me a while to connect with the main characters, but as always Natasha knows how to make me eat my words because I ended up liking this book. Eva and Levi's relationship grows slowly, you see how these two friends who do everything for each other end up in a marriage of convenience and when the boundaries disappear they don't fight against it, also Levi's relationship with little CiCi was the most beautiful thing in this whole story besides seeing Eva take that giant step to take care of her niece is worth admiring.

A story that although it took me a while to get hooked, I loved it, there is no big drama like all the author's books, some charming characters and I liked to see the other characters from the other books in this series again.

Thanks to the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review!!

---

Just finished it!!!! Well, I really liked it!!!!
I usually avoid reading "friends to lovers" books but this one was perfect!

Eva and Levi...💗 They were meant to be!
It was an easy read and It didn't make me bored at all... I loved the fact that Stefano and Addison made some random appearances!! I had missed them so much! :)

Levi was in fact a good friend. He knew everything about Eva and she knew him too. When he surprised her with the preparation of the wedding ahh that was so cute. He knew she wanted all these and he didn't disappoint!

Eva my girl... she literally fell on her knees to propose 🙈 even though she did it for Cici (my cutie pie 😘) she did it in a funny and cute way!

Levi didn't disappoint at all throughout the book. He was there for both my girls and treated them with respect and all his love.

Okay I admit that I was sad that I had to wait so much for them to be together but in the end it didn't matter at all ....

Well it's not a 5⭐ book because I got bored reading about Levi's sexual life before Eva... Even when they were saying that they were finally truly together and Levi talked about future babies with Eva, Stefano was talking shit... he was mentioning how his house needs and I quote "Biohazard cleaning"... They made him seem like a manwhore and even though he might be i don't think we needed to be reminded... And pls don't forget that he stopped messing around even before the wedding...

The second epilogue was everything I didn't know I needed in this book. 🥹

« “First, you propose to me,” I recap to her. “Then this girl proposes to me. I’m going to have to ask the two of you to stop stealing my thunder,” I tease. »

«One hour later, in the middle of the courthouse filled with all of our friends and family, a surprise neither of us knew would be happening, the three of us become a family.»

🥹🥰 well you were a family even before all this...

Levi & Eva & Cici, I hope we get them in the next book even for a moment...

4.25⭐

Natasha Madison brings readers back to the Southern Wedding series for another romantic and charming story. This time, featuring best friends Eva and Levi.

Who find themselves in an arranged marriage. After Eva's sister dies unexpectedly, and Eva is advised by her lawyer, Alice. That in order to gain custody of her niece, she must have a ring on her finger and a man by her side. And Eva's first thought in fact her only thought is Levi. The man who has been her constant and who she would do anything for and vice versa.

And thanks to Addison and Levi's best friend Stefano, who also happens to be Eva's cousin, the pair get a wedding they didn't expect. And soon custody of Cici is granted.

But what starts out as a simple arrangement soon becomes something more. As Levi, Eva and Cici spend time together and grow as a family.

And with the perfect balance of super sweet and spicy. Plenty of dirty talk and the most adorable relationship between Levi and Cici. I found this to be an enjoyable and engaging read. That I'd happily recommend to others. And as always it was great to see some familiar faces.

My thanks to Wildfire Marketing and Natasha Madison for the opportunity to read an early copy of Mine to Honor. 😊

Wow first I’d like to thank the author for sending me this arc.

Levi and Eva have been best friends for the longest. Eva loses her sister and has a niece left behind. For her to gain custody with no issues she needs to be married. She asks her best friend Levi to marry her. They agree to be married for one year.

This book was so beautiful. Levi is book HUSBAND material. The way this man stepped up not only helping his bestie by marrying her to get custody for her niece but being a father figure for her niece was beautiful omg.

Eva has gone through it. And I just love how she knew from the moment she wanted her niece with her.

The tension between both of them was so damn hot omg. Now this is a slow burn but when they finally get to it, it’s worth it 😉

I really enjoyed this book. the plot, the setting & the characters.

read this if you like :

- marriage of convenience
- slow burn
- single parent
- friends to lovers

This was my least favorite of this entire series and I’m on like book 7 but I think it might be the highest rated one over all?? Idk I just found their relationship at the start to be so cringe I couldn’t move past it.

I had the honor (see what I did there?) of getting the audio for this book and it was so good! Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke did an absolutely amazing job bringing Eva and Levi to life!

I am definitely in my best friends to lovers era so this book hit the nail right on the head. Throw in Marriage of Convenience, with a splash of forced proximity and you're gold. The banter was so good in this book and I loved the character growth of Levi. I found him to be so realistic in how I think most men would react to what Eva proposed. And to watch him fall for her was really beautiful. The end definitely had me tearing up and it made my heart so happy!
