Addison
I never thought I would see him again.
Especially while I was planning someone else’s wedding—yet there he was holding hands with his girlfriend.
Our one night was wild and passionate; I could never forget him because it changed my life.
Now he’s here—and the result of our one night is twirling in a princess dress at our feet.

Stefano
I didn’t make mistakes.
I was the one you called in when you needed answers.
I was cutthroat but they didn’t pay me to be nice.
I was in control every single second.
The only time I let my guard down was five years ago.
If I thought seeing the woman I could never forget again would throw me off—it’s nothing like seeing our daughter for the first time.

This was an okay read if you like no drama & very little romance or plot. It’s not anything new that we’ve not read a gazillion times and not much character or story development, or chemistry between the MCS for that matter IMO.

It’s basically a story of MCs having a ONS 5 years prior, she gets pregnant and Hero learns about his kid when they accidently meet at his cousin’s wedding which he attends with his one month GF.

From there, he’s all in on becoming the kid’s Dad, dropping the GF and making life changes for himself. Then suddenly at the 80-85% MCs have sex and an ILY a few chapters later & The End. Lol.

Also, there’s a lot of a scratching one’s head moments such as Hero in the beginning stated that heroine was his last ONS which implied that he had other ONS before her, but we later learn she was his only ONS as he has “relationships” (not flings mind you) for one month to the longest of 5 months. Why he was so opposed to ONS we are never told and didn’t sit well for the story if heroine was so forgettable and not anything special that he has many of these “relationships” with OP during separation. Heroine on the other hand said she too slept with someone after Hero but I don’t think there was anyone else.

And for my safe readers, after he sees heroine again for the first time and learns he has a kid, he drops his GF the next day but since they came together and supposedly slept together in the same room that first night, we weren’t given any details if he had sex with her or not. When the MCs finally get together at the 80% or so, it’s all about sex.

Epilogue of 1 year out that shows them living together and getting engaged. Another epilogue that you have to request by author if anyone cares (which I did not).

Nice Romance. Feels like a mixture of Mills & Boon and Chicklit.
Unfortunately, for the climax we have a hero who does a complete 360 from perfectly attentive to MIA for a whole 4 days. Totally unlike his usual character. I'm like, what, did I open the wrong book here? Then he has the nerve to be angry with the h FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE BOOK because she RIGHTLY SO, thought he was abandoning their new beautiful relationship. He ANGRILY explains himself LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST DAMN PLACE: he was working his butt off to change his job parameters so that he could be home more often.
Ridiculous and unnecessary plot convenience. Pft.

Well, this is my first and not my last book from the author.

Tropes.
Small Town
One Night Stand
Secret Baby
Second Chance
Found Family

Addison and Stefano reunite five years later after an unforgettable nightstand. Both are equally shocked to see each other. Then runs in, little Avery. Addison’s adorable daughter. It took Sefano seconds to realize Avery was his daughter.

I love the fresh intake on the secret baby trope. In this scenario, Addison wanted to let Stefano know about his daughter. How the two worked to get to know each other seemed effortless. How Stefano stepped right up and accepted responsibility is one hundred percent swoon-worthy.

Let’s not forget Stefano’s family. I have to mention them. To say they’re extreme is putting it mildly. They’re in your face, hysterical; once one person knows, they all know.

Mine to Promise is the newest book in Natasha Madison’s Southern Wedding series and it was so sweet! I’ve read from a few different series by this author now and this series is my fav. This one is small town, one night stand, second chance-ish, and a secret baby romance! So many of my fav tropes.

When the story starts Addison is helping plan a proposal and wedding when the man she shared a one-night-stand with 5 years ago, shows up… Stefano is shocked when he runs into Addison and especially when he meets their 4-year old daughter that he didn’t know existed. All of their lives get turned upside down so quickly, but in the sweetest, cutest way!

I loved how Stefano was immediately in when he finds out about their daughter, and how in his family was as well! They definitely start to spoil her with over the top gifts which I kept thinking was going to become a bigger deal than it ever was with how much time we hear about the prices and gifts. But that wasn’t the case. 😅 Stefano is definitely a knight-in-shining-armor type who sweeps in and whisks his girls away. The romance was low angst and just easy to see Addison and Stefano fall for one another. The narrators, Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke, absolutely sold me as the characters. This was a fun and easy book to get lost in! And the cover is just stunning!

Thanks so much to the author for an advanced audiobook copy, all thoughts in this review are my own. Mine to Promise has a release date of September 8, 2023!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Mine to Promise, is the sixth book in the Southern Wedding series. Now while I as disappointed with Mine to Take book 5, and Made for Romeo from her Made For series, I went into this one hoping for the best. Unfortunately, it did not go as I hoped. I am not sure, but it seems has if the author has lost her touch when it comes to writing quality romance.

The couple featured in this instalment, Stefano and Addison, engaged in a one-night stand five years ago. They parted ways without exchanging surnames. So when Addison learned six weeks later she was pregnant, searching for Stefano became an exercise in futility. Fast-forward five years later, Addison is planning one of her bosses wedding. It so happened that her boss's fiancée is related to Stefano. A fact which Addison was not aware of until the day he showed up at the wedding. It was there he discovered that he was a father to an adorable four-year-old girl.

I loved how he immediately wanted to be a part of his daughter's life. Also, I admired Addison's willingness in allowing him to take up his role has a father. It was wonderful seeing the bond develop between father and daughter. The family dynamics as usual were fun, and it was wonderful catching up with characters from the previous books. Now, as much I enjoyed this aspect of the story, the romance did not work for me.

When I pick up a book that's classified as a romance, expect to see the relationship between the couple grow throughout the story. I am looking for more than steamy moments between the sheets.  I expect to feel the chemistry burning between them, and the emotions leaping from the pages. Well, Mine to Promise failed all the above.

Readers are told that Addison and Stefano shared a connection five years ago, but one doesn't get the chance to experience it. Five years later, they reconnect, but one feels no chemistry and the emotions expected were non-existent.  This made it hard to buy into their romance. They did profess their love for each other; however, it still makes one wonder if they loved each other or if they got together because they shared a child. I do believe, that with a little more length and depth, the romance would be perfect. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

Read this if you like:
• Single Mom
• Secret Baby
• One Night Stand
• Second Chance
• Small Town

Five years ago, Addison had a one night stand with a hot stranger that ends up in changing her life forever. Now she is a single mom living in a small town and taking care of her daughter. The last thing she expects is to come face to face with her baby daddy, but there he is at the wedding she planned with his girlfriend…

When Stefano went to his cousin’s wedding, he had no idea that he would see the girl he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about& let alone meet a little girl with his eyes and smile. The moment he realizes he has a daughter, he shows up and wants to make things right. I honestly loved him so much. He was such a sweetheart and was always taking care of them. He wanted to show Addison that he’s reliable and was there to stay.

When you learn of Addison’s family history and what she had to endure, you realize how strong she actually is. She worked hard to raise her daughter and deserves the world. She’s also very kind and loving.

Addison and Stefano have an undeniable connection. I loved their journey of learning to co-parent and trying to figure out what they feel for each other. The family interactions are also so fun and there are so many sweet moments with Stefano and his daughter.

This book was soooo cute! I’ve only read one other book in this series (so far) and I had no problem jumping in here but certain references did make me really wanna go back and hear some of the other couples stories. I love a really adorable romance with plenty of swoony moments and when you add in some sexy spice I’m happy and that’s exactly what this one was. It’s a great blend of heartwarming and flirty and I really loved Stefano and Addison together. The whole one night stand that ends in a pregnancy is becoming one of my favorite tropes and seeing Stefano just jump into being a father no questions asked was about the cutest thing I’ve read about in awhile. The audio was narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke and they’re two of the very best so if you’re an audio fan you should listen to this one! Definitely pick this up when you’re in the mood for a super cute small town romance with steam

Yeah, nah, the writing and execution were horrendous. I skimmed most of this book because it just wasn't making sense. In reality, I should've dnf'ed it, but I kept waiting for it to get better, but alas. There were so many plot discrepancies and felt off. It feels weird when everyone seems to love this book, so maybe I'm just nitpicking at things.

Five years ago Addison had a steamy night with a hot stranger that ended up changing her life forever. Now she's a single mom, living in a small town, and working as a wedding coordinator. The last thing she expects is to see the man who flipped her world upside down, but there he is, a guest at her friend's wedding and holding hands with another woman.

Stefano came into town for his cousin's surprise wedding, little did he know he would see the girl he met all those years ago and couldn't forget about, or meet a little girl with his smile and eyes. All of a sudden Stefano is ready for change. It's time to put down roots, to stop living and breathing work, and get to know this family he unknowingly created.

Stefano came in like a whirlwind and shook everything all up for Addison a second time. This man puts his mind to something and is all in, and I loved how he instantly wanted to be there for her and Avery and make things right! He's so dreamy, and Addison never stood a chance.

Their story is oh so sweet, but also steamy, and I enjoyed every minute of it!

It was an ok and low angst reading.
The hero and the heroine had a ONS five years before, they didn’t know each other names and numbers, and the heroine was the one to leave when the hero was asleep. So we can’t blame him for not being there.
He admits when they meet again that he would have asked her for her number, I don’t actually know why the heroine left like that, it was stupid and immature, but ok, maybe we wouldn’t have the book.
There’s no angst because when they accidentally meet again, he’s immediately there, supportive and very much feeling guilty because he didn’t help.
But again, not his fault.
From the moment they meet and he understands he has a lil daughter he’s the best and it’s basically insta love.
The heroine was thrown out by her parents, rich and snooty, who didn’t even give her a penny, so she had it hard, but since we don’t see how it was and it’s only mentioned, the angst is very low.
Two stars and not three because the hero has a gf, one that basically vanish as soon as he sees the heroine again, but anyway, he admits having some relationship in the past years, while the heroine only had bad sex once.
Once again I would ask the author. Do you feel guilty if you write that a heroine, who wasn’t in love with the hero and probably would have never seen him again, can have in five years some decent sex or some relationships with someone decent?
Is it so difficult for women in USA to find some decent men and some decent sex nowadays? I understand that a woman can have some decent sex and some mediocre or bad one, but only bad ones is quite unbelievable.
So, again, I hated the useless double standard here, or else it would have been three stars.

I loved this one! I knew I needed to read it right away after finishing Mine to Take.

I loved that this one was low-angst with no third-act breakup. From the minute Stefano sees Avery, he knows that's his daughter. From that moment on, he is there and doing everything he can.

I get why Addison was hesitant at first. I hated her parents. I loved that we saw Vivienne and Mark again. They were so loving towards Addison and Avery, but I expected nothing less. I knew that both of them would be absolutely spoiled.

I think what makes these books so amazing for me is the family dynamics. If you haven't read all of the prior books, you are missing out because that helps make these books so much better. Seeing Matthew, Max and now we are seeing Casey again...I love it!!

I’m not usually a big fan of the accidental pregnancy/secret baby tropes but I loved this! Devoured it in one sitting.

This is book 6 in the Southern Wedding series following Stefano & Addison. They met years ago & ended up having a one night stand. Well, when they run into each other at a wedding five years later, Stefano is shocked not only to see Addison again, but to come face to face with the daughter he never knew existed.

Stefano was pure perfection. He stepped up & did exactly what you would expect a man in his situation to do & more. He dropped everything to be with Addison & Avery. Picked up his life & made it work to fit into their lives instead of trying to just fit them into his. It was so sweet to watch him try to make up for lost time & become the dad he never knew he wanted to be. I love that Addison was so open to everything, trying to involve Stefano in their lives as much as possible after reuniting with him. Their connection was just so sweet & pure. Overall I really enjoyed reading their story!

Reading Natasha Madison is like coming home, simple as that, and this book is a joy to my heart. She writes stories without drama, she writes simple stories that make you fall in love and I live for that.

We already knew what this story was about since Mine to Take and I had my reservations, but this book surpassed everything I expected, both Stefano and Addison were lovely characters, in addition to seeing Vivienne and Mark (This Is Love) as grandparents and being there for Stefano along with the whole great family they created was nice to read.

Addison struck me as an adorable, strong and determined FMC, a single mom who does everything for her daughter and little Avery is a sweetheart, that girl is one of the best and Addison did (does) a good job for her even when our girl didn't have it easy, I loved that she didn't close the doors to love and that despite being scared she kept going.

Stefano; Our boy is just a baby daddy in every way. The way he took care of Avery? God, we need men like that in the real world, because Stefano was PERFECT, how did he know right away that she was his daughter? How did he love her from the first moment? He was scared but he was there from the first moment he saw her daughter and not to mention how he was for Addison, the heart eyes he had for her was something to fall in love with.

The story of these two is perfect, if I dare say so, a book where I didn't see any drama, where I just saw love triumph and you know what? I like to read these kinds of books and Natasha always does a great job of bringing them to us.

Thanks to the author & Wildfire Marketing Solutions for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review 📚!!

I am thoroughly immersed in the world of this series, finding immense pleasure in each and every book. "Mine To Promise" (Southern Wedding #6) stands out as an absolute gem to me. Its allure was so captivating that I found myself unable to set it aside, particularly due to its incorporation of the

The trajectory of this storyline took me on an unforeseen journey, and I must say, it was the best kind of surprise. It deftly balances heartwarming moments with tantalizing and passionate encounters, creating a harmonious blend. Stefano exudes the finest qualities inherited from his parents, offering readers a satisfying wink-wink (if you catch my drift) into his character makeup. The dynamic between Stefano and Addison brims with an undeniable, fervent, and fiery chemistry that's simply spectacular surprise baby trope.

"Mine To Promise" boasts a swift tempo that remains immensely fulfilling and enjoyable, replete with quick-witted banter that dances between the Stone, Grant, and Baker families. I'm eagerly anticipating the plunge of readers into this stellar five-star book, where they, too, can revel in its enchanting pages.

I hate to admit this but I had never read a Natasha Madison book. With that being said I went into book 6 without reading any of the other book or knowing any of the other characters and I was able to follow along just fine. I did the audio, narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke, who happen to be on my approved favorites list. Addison and Stefano have a one night stand, they don't exchange and information and she leaves before he wakes up- as one does when they have a one night stand. 5 years later they are at the same place at the same time and Stefano is eye to eye the product of that one night stand.
Stefano is swoon worthy, seeing him interact with his daughter makes my ovaries want to explode. Avery is pretty much the star of the show. There are a few times when I've gotten mad at Addison for how she's reacted to something Stefano has said or done but then my attitude softens when I thinking about where her anger is coming from. I devoured this book. It has just the right amount of steam, story and swoon worthy moments. I can't wait to go back and start from the beginning.

Nothing and I mean nothing warms my heart the way a Natasha Madison book does! They are just so heartwarming! From the sexy male hero’s to the amazing families that you one of their own, you can’t help but fall in love!

Addison and Stefano’s book was so much more than I anticipated. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down because I just needed to know what was going to happen! From their “you” moment to the end I was completely absorbed in their world!

The angst, the passion all of it was just what I needed and one of the many reasons I keep coming back for more when it comes to Madison’s books!

Stefano was….HOTTT! The way he commanded a room but also his loving nature had me falling so hard for this fictional man. He was kind and only showed his temper when needed (and an angry Stefano….HOT DANG)! Addison my gosh knowing what she faced and how kind and loving she is….you go girl! She was resilient and though she could’ve taken Stefano for all he was worth she just wanted her daughters happiness and that for me sealed the deal on her amazingness!!

Each one of these books just has me falling more in love with this town, these friends and all these wonderful families!!

This is a sweet read, a sort-of-second-chance romance for a couple five years after a one night stand. With a surprise baby (now a four year old little girl) and one smitten hero, this is a fun and swoonily romantic story that blends some of my favourite characters across Natasha Madison’s interwoven series (though you can read this as a standalone).

Stefano is the son of Vivienne and Markos from This Is Love (This Is, #3). He’s travelled to the wedding of his ‘almost-cousin’ Matthew to Sofia (their story was the last book in this series, Mine to Take), and his whole world shifts when he lays eyes on the wedding co-ordinator – a one-night stand from years ago, and one of his most cherished memories… and her four year old daughter who looks exactly like him.

Addison was never a really a one-night stand kind of girl, but she made the exception with Stefano, and the two of them shared one special night together before she quickly left in the morning. When she discovered that she was pregnant, she had no way of tracking him down, so she raised little Avery on her own in the most difficult of circumstances. She’s finally starting to get her life on track, starting with a new job that she loves, when Stefano comes back into her life.

The big reveal happens pretty early on in the book, and I loved the emotion! The anticipation, the drama, the feels are all fantastic, and my heart was pounding as I was feeling it all. Stefano completely stole my heart when he is instantly smitten with the daughter he didn’t know about, and he immediately uproots his entire life to be there for her. And more than just to get to know his daughter, but to take his second shot with the woman he has been unable to forget.

It's a beautifully sweet and heartfelt story, starting with Stefano getting to know princess-mad Avery, and the scenes with them together are just gorgeous.

Avery just looks at me, tilting her head to the side. “Are you my dad?”
I swallow down the lump in my throat before I say the words. “I’m your dad.”

Addison is open and fully supportive in bringing Stefano into Avery’s life, and though she’s hesitant to put her own heart on the line, she welcomes him into their world. And Stefano is one determined man, and his huge heart, sense of protectiveness and need to make up for lost time keep the story moving at a great pace as he goes all in to get his girls.

It was my job to protect her and Avery, and I didn’t do my job … I’m going to do everything in my power to make her whole again.

It’s romantic and swoony with great build up, and when the time comes, the sexy time is smoking. I enjoyed watching these two pick up where they left off and fall so naturally and easily together.

“It’s you.” He bends and whispers in my ear, “It’s always going to be you.” … “He leans in to kiss my lips softly. “Avery and you”

Little Avery is a big part of the story, as she should be, and she is just a delight. Confident and cute, with an obsession with all things princess, her interactions with her parents, and newly discovered grandparents, is so gorgeous to see.

As always, the family is all heavily involved. Of course, we see lots of Vivienne and Markos, which I loved, because they haven’t really featured since their own book. Markos is beautiful as the supportive father and grandfather, and Vivienne is hilarious a they accept this huge change to their lives with open arms.

“Umm, excuse me,” Vivienne says, holding up her hand. “I will not be a grandmother.” My stomach sinks so fast, but only until a smile fills her face. “I’ll be Glammy like a glamorous grandmother,” she says to Avery. “If you want, you can call me Glammy Vivienne or just Vivienne. It’s as you wish, ma puce.” She then turns to look at Markos.
“And he can be GILF.”

Matthew and Max make a welcome appearance, and I freaking love the scenes of them together with Casey! And then there are the cousins, aunts and uncles that make this massive family and all of its blended dynamics so much fun.

Between Stefano and the family, their overwhelming love and efforts to accept Addison and Avery into the family is a little bit OTT, and honestly, I would have been freaked out if I was Addison, but it’s all a part of this family’s charm. They love openly and they love big, holding nothing back, and their completely extra lives are very entertaining.

I enjoyed this one. It’s such a cute read, and after meeting the hero for the next book, I’m excited to continue on with the series.

Thank you to Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review

This was such a cute read. I loved the story and the characters so much. Stefano was perfect, caring and so head over heels with the woman that he thought he'd never see again. After their one night stand they might have lost eachother but at the end something brought them together. Addison was incredible, a fantastic mother and a badass woman. Watching her do it all on her own made me admire her even more. Little Avery was such a cute kid and I loved the moments she shared with Stefano. I wanna add that Avery was such a funny little girl and I loved how much she loved Addison. Stefano and Addison had this chemistry that made me swoon so hard. You could feel their love and want for eachother. The found family trope was something that added so much to this book. The epilogue was the cutest and so perfect for them!

It was light and fluffy.

Great to read if you just want some good romance and fluff.

This is the first book I've read by the author, and though I did like the book, I definitely did feel a bit lost with all the character cameos. So although it's a standalone, I felt like I should have read some previous books. :)

I also felt like there was quite a lot of detail in the scenes, possibly a bit too much page fillers. This did happen quite a bit and I ended up skimming 3 pages at times because I lost interest in how the room and seating arrangements etc. looked at a wedding.

so cutie. simply so cutie.

I really enjoyed the characters, they both were so low drama, so open and honest and just made the listen enjoyable. the setting and plot is not usually my cup of tea but it slapped for me. a small town one-night stand turned pregnancy where the father only finds out five years later through no fault of the mother and he immediately steps up and becomes the man for his daughter and the woman he hasn't been able to stop thinking about.

it was sweet, it was wholesome, it was spicy, it was a really good audiobook. maybe ill be reading more small town romances ...

I enjoyed the latest in the Southern Wedding Series, a great way to catch up with the enormous families Ms. Madison has created. The story is a blending of two series, and begins with the couple's wedding from the previous book.

Addison is not a one night type of girl, but feeling low after a wedding, she seeks out comfort at a bar. She has never gotten over this night as she sees his eyes daily. Stefano makes it to his cousin Matty’s wedding and is surprised by who the wedding planner is.

It is a fun, light story with low angst and plenty of smiles, as we get plenty of over the top Vivian. Marko and Vivian’s support is nice to see. I look forward to the next book, as we have met our next male lead.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
