A wonderfully sweet romantic story about a woman that's always down on her luck and a biker that was once a soldier who was suffering from PTSD. The veteran was now a member of the biker club, he became a member after he returned from his service. She was trying to make it as a model/actress but she took any job that came to get money for what her and her brother needed since they were poor with no family.
The biker was stationed in Afghanistan when he met the con artist at the time he was trying to get away with stealing an artifact of that country, he had the con artist arrested and the con artist was sentenced to prison for a while. The con artist that the biker met while he was stationed in Afghanistan tricked her into helping him, the con artist told the woman he would help her brother with getting an appeal because he was an attorney as well as give her some money.
The biker helped the woman when she got into town and had her stay with him so she would have a place to stay. She tried to help him with his nightmares, she helped him after she hurt him screaming in terror at night. Not soon after they had sex and when he left to do some business he left her a flower and a note.
While he was gone during the day she would go through his things looking for what the con artist wanted. He knew that she was going through his things because he has security cameras at his place and a member of the club watched it for him when it went off. At that time he asked if they could find out about her brother and if they could find the brother some protection while he’s in prison he also went to talk to the clubs attorney about being he brother’s attorney. After she found out that the artifact wasn’t there she called the con artist that was telling her that he was an attorney, he told her that he would have a car sent for her so she went and packed her things and wrote him a note.
The car got there and she left before she could get her things because he was riding up to the place so she just left. She didn’t know what was going on. She was crying because she had fallen in love with the biker. She didn’t know anything was wrong until the driver stopped at a gas station and she tried to get out but she couldn’t. The driver took her to a cabin before he burt it down and cut her hair off before taking her to a warehouse.
When made it home he noticed a car leaving, he saw her suitcases next to the door, he called one of the club members asking if he saw anything on the security footage. The club came to his house but before he went looking throughout the place for her, he found the note and read it several times. When the club members got there the head of the club went through her suitcases and found some papers and photos. They found the con artist's number and called him, the con artist told the biker what he wanted but when the biker smarted off he informed the biker that the woman’s hair would be cut off.
He wanted her back because he had fallen in love with her. They came up with a plan to get her back without her brother getting hurt during the process. They were tracking her phone but the tracker stopped working. They made it to the cabin where she was held. It was still smoldering when they got there, they found her hair there.
The biker who dealt with security and intelligence gets a hold of them about the cell phone that the con artist was using was on and he was sending them the place where it was at. When he gets to the place it’s a kid who has the phone, he pays the kid for the phone. He looked through the phone noticing the information that was on it. The kid showed him where he found the phone at, it was in a dumpster beside a warehouse. He got a hold of the rest of the club that came, the head of the club wanted him to wait for them to get there. They got there and saved the woman, they also caught the guy that drove her and was keeping her hostage. Before they left they found a stash of money, jewels and gold that the guy was looking for.
They got back to the clubhouse, then put the guy in the basement in a holding cell so that they could talk to him about the con artist. She told him everything about what happened from the time she left her brother to the time they got her from the warehouse. After that he and some of the other club members went to have a talk with the guy. They took his prints as well as a photo of him. They found out that he was the older brother of the con artist and that the FBI was looking for him about some missing women as well as a woman who was murdered. The police for the town were coming to get him so some of the club members were going to clean them up. The member who was into intelligence found a load of stuff on the phone.
They used the information on the phone to track the con artist, it took them a while with two members in front of the rest of them to give them information on the con artist's whereabouts. A couple of times they got arrested but they got out. They caught him on the border with Canada, the con artist was being detained by the border police. Come to find out that the FBI had stuff on the con artist and was looking for him.
They went back to the clubhouse where the woman was staying and was being protected by the rest of the club members who didn’t go. They admitted to each other that they loved one another. They had sex when they went back to his place.
They went to the trial about the two brothers. The con artist got life with no chance of parole. A year after they had her brother out of prison, the couple had grown into a routine with one another and they were getting married. It was their wedding day and everything was coming together for it. He went to the bedroom where he found his bride to be in her undergarments and stockings. She was decompressing while she waited for her stylist to come. While waiting they started to make love as she asked about his tattoos. He will care for her, protect her and love her for the rest of his life and she will do the same.
Fabulous characters, easy to read as well as a great page turner. A sweet romantic happily ever after story.

another rushed ending
lol if you are bored with the story you are writing set it aside for awhile.. gesh then come back to it when you have fresh ideas or renewed vigor. But rushing and ending is cruel and you are not doing us any favors either. Per example
The boy with the phone… it was weeks before he went back to him and made good on his promise… so much so I was finally happy when he was going to stop off and visit the kid… I even wi dared would he be bringing back a cleverly impoverished child ,did the kid have any parents? Orphaned? A mom they would bring back to the clubhouse give a job to.. etc… .. but nope nothing … author completely skipped over the whole thing.made a mild mention they were gonna drop off a phone and couple other things cause Leah wanted to thank him for basically risking a lot to save her.. and you’d think they would do better than that to a clearly impoverished child who was forced to dumpster dive.
But nope nope we get nothing ,.. no meeting with kid just the insinuation they gave the kid a phone .., skipped over glossed over rushed endings and more to quickly tie up lose ends of story rushing through months, to a wedding! And we didn’t even get that either now author no longer gives up the wedding .. now it’s just the insinuating that the wedding is taking place and . Boom THE END

More. Rushed endings out of nowhere. It’s like. The formula is boy meets girl bad situation unfolds they get to know each Luther over extreme circumstances and then it’s all over with, The author all of a sudden goes …the bad guy is caught everyone is safe now let’s end this and get to a wedding so I can rush to print my book! .. sacrificing a truly complete story for a rush job to get it over with as quickly as possible .. not cool
If a story is worth writing it is worthy of a complete ending not a rush job!
I won’t be starting anymore series of this author and I am truly disgusted by her formula style of writing. Let alone her far too often OVERUSE of the “2S2L GIRL” TROPE

All Leah wants to do is protect her brother Cooper while he is in jail on some trumped up charge and maybe catch a break. Everything in Leah's life seems to be one good thing, then disaster strikes. When given the opportunity to protect her brother and make a little money, Leah is hesitant, but Mr. Wentworth makes it seem like she would be helping retrieve something that was stolen by a military vet.
Jav is a good guy, who genuinely cares about people and always wants to help. He is taken by Leah when she "accidentally" stumbles into their club. Eager to believe what she has to say, a friendship is made and they start to get closer.
What happens though when Jav realizes that Leah is up to something and refuses to let him in? Will this relationship be over before it starts? Leah is very naïve and believes she is still helping, but something in her gut is telling her differently.
Suspense, forgiveness and chemistry made it very hard for me to put this down and I read it in one sitting. I love this series and look forward to the next book about Mason!.

This is the 17th book in the Dark Slayers MC series featuring Javelin and Leah's exciting emotional story. Leah is just trying to help save her brother's life but she's being manipulated into doing things that she knows are wrong until she ends up getting in over her head. Leah's tricked into targeting Javelin by a man with a score to settle with him from when they served in Afghanistan. Leah is supposed to be the girl of his dreams gain his trust then retrieve the stolen artifact then leave before he catches her then her brother's life will be saved but you can never trust a conman. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this exciting emotional story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this AMAZING series!!!.

Jav is the seventeenth book in the Dark Slayers MC series. By now, we know these characters well, and it is good to see a different side of Javelin. The slayers are mostly former military men, and their sense of brotherhood is palpable.
You would think that after seventeen books in the series would become too predictable, but they have not. Predictably, Jav would find his old lady, and she would be perfect for him. However, this book has a sinister edge without the violence that typically accompanies run-ins with evil. There is a bit of suspense and a lot of romance. Leah's naivety is borderline too much, but at least when things come to light or she figures it out, she is embarrassed.
Jav is an easy read. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, Mason.

Leah was coming from seeing her brother in prison when a well dress man approached her and said he was a lawyer and could help her with her brother’s case. She would do anything to get her brother out. The man wants her to try to find a artifact that he says this guy stole. Now she is to get close to the guy. Javelin is a member of the dark slayers Mc. His brother and one of the brothers daughter come in with a unconscious women once they get her revived she attaches herself to him but it not a hardship because she beautiful. Soon things change now that she living in his house where she is going through all his belongings and the clubs IT guy is watching on the security cameras. After being alerted Jav goes along just to find out what she is looking for. But things change and trouble stricken again. So enjoy another good read and see wants next!!

Finding Forgiveness
I swear this series just keeps getting better & better! Every new guy becomes my new favorite lol, and Jav is no exception. The way he treats Leah is just amazing. The guys in this MC may be rough around the edges, but when they fall, they do it with everything within them. Leah finds that out the hard way when she finds herself in need of Jav’s forgiveness after doing things to keep her brother safe from a madman with a vendetta against Jav. If you want some action & angst, but also want passion & romance that only a man in a MC can provide….then you want this book. I can’t wait for the next Dark Slayer to steal my heart ❤️

When Leah's brother was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to three years in prison, she will do anything to save him. When an attorney comes to her with a proposition that will ultimately exonerate her brother, she readily agrees. She doesn't know the attorney has a score to settle with Jav and will manipulate Leah to help him settle the score. But when she realizes Jan is not what she was lead to believe and comes clean with him, can they save their relationship. The book is typical of the other books in the Dark Slayers MC series, full of sizzle, steam, action, drama, twists, and more. Solid read.

What a delightful story this was to read, it was totally enjoyable with a few twists and turns that make the book more enjoyable to read. I loved both of the main characters in this book, but i had to feel for Leah who was played by a man possing as a lawyer offereing to help her brother. Who was in Prison and getting roughed up by others in the prison.
Her mission was to befriend Javier and look for a artifact that he is surposed to have. However despite things she falls for this lovely man. But what will happen when he discovers that she is only just a spy?
I love reading Arias books they really are great to read.

I have loved every one of the Dark Slayers MCs and this book is just as good. Leah is being controlled to get Jav's trust in order to save her brother's life. Leah knows that what she is doing is wrong but her brother means a lot to her. Jav is being set up by a man he helped put in prison so the man has some revenge against him. There is action, drama romance, and passion. Will Jav be able to forgive Leah for all the lies and deception? Will Jav and the MC save Leah and her brother? Will Leah and Jav get their HEA? This book had me turning pages as fast as I could read them.

Leah is trapped into a situation where she has to go undercover to obtain information on a MC member to keep her brother safe in prison. She had no idea what to expect but connecting with Javelin had her heart all over the place. He is nothing like Bretford stated. When everything comes out into the open will Leah and Javelin's relationship survive and will his MC brothers be able to keep Leah's brother safe. This thrilling story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

This is a great series the Dark Slayers MC, and this is already the 17th part and the story of Leah and Javelin. Leah is eager to help her brother, but doesn't know they're being manipulated until it's too late. Will Javelin help her and be understanding? There is action and danger, attraction and chemistry between them, if they join hands and stand in line, will they defeat the enemy and help her brother? It is highly recommended to read.

I have read all the books in this series and I love them all! Jav was no exception. The quiet soldier with a heart of gold. Leah is a sweet girl with no street smarts. She is set up by a con artist who is out to destroy Jav because he got him thrown in prison for stealing in Afghanistan. The con man is more than that, he is a despicable man. Jav is set on getting retribution for Leah and her brother.

Leah jumps head first into a really bad situation with a really bad guy seeking revenge. Using her brother as the bait to get Leah to do his bidding, Leah agrees to help this guy get Jav. Of course the situation is nothing like Leah thought and Jav certainly isn't like she was led to believe. Jav is a fast-paced, steamy story that pulls you in from the start and keeps you there, glued to the pages til the end.

The Dark Slayers keep on rollin with Jav and Leah! The book had an interesting plotline, even if the main characters seemed a little preachy, in my humble opinion. I really found the concept of the Snow Leopard fascinating. As always, Celt had me laughing out loud, and my dogs looking at me like I was the crazy one. Recommended read for Dark Slayers lovers!.

This is exactly what Leah set out to do because her brother was in prison and she had to get him out before he was injured any more. That all happened when a man approached her making a deal that he would help her if she could get close to Jav who was a member of the Dark Slayers MC.
The lies and deceit came back to bite her and would Jav ever be able to forgive the beauty who he was falling for. For me this book was a big page turner.

17 percent in and I already want to bitch slap Leah! This book is reminding me of Razor. I know it's fiction, but there are real people that assume things, believe what they are told, from a stranger no less, just to get what they want. My 2 cents. A good author hopes to write books people relate to. This is one of those for me.
Finished. As always, Aria does not disappoint. What can I say, I like the vengeance! A typo with a name, but otherwise well worth the wait!

I love this series and can’t believe it’s almost done. Leah is doing things she doesn’t want to do but to keep her bro safe in prison she will do what she has to. But when she’s supposed to trick Jav and get something from him she starts to fill things for him. But how is she supposed to do chose one. Or can she have them both and get rid of the man calling the shots for her bro.

💝💖💝 Jav and Leah 💝💖💝 Aria Ray writes another awesome book in the Dark Slayers MC series! This book along with the whole series are about tough men who are good decent men who find the strong lady to love forever! This book tells a wonderful story about a good man who is there and helps the lady he is falling in love with. Great series, awesome book and wonderful author! A must read!.

Another fantastic story by Aria Ray. This is Jav and Leah’s story. It is a guy who puts his foot in his mouth many times and a woman who is naive and needs help. An old enemy of Jav uses Leah against Jav. The Slayers come through and win against the enemy giving Jav and Leah their HEA.
