Whilst on a car trip the kids were intrigued by thought puzzles. We bought this one to entertain and think outside the square during those long empty drives through the Australian plains. Overall, it worked. While some riddles were repetitive and others were too ridiculous to "guess" with the limited information available it passed the time and encouraged the kids to spin more and more elaborate hypotheses.
A carrot, a scarf and five buttons were found in a field. If nobody placed them there, how did they get there? p.8
A man looks out the window. He is desperate to open it, yet he knows this would kill him. Why? p.26
A man is driving his car. He turns on the radio, listens for five minutes, turns around, goes home and shoots his wife. Why? p.80
