3.5 stars. Helpful explanations and lists, and I appreciate that a lot of the recipes are also "easy-to-cook," but it needs an updated version and the first "meatless" recipe called for chicken broth repeatedly so maybe an editor too.

This is a wonderful book for people with health issues that make it difficult to eat. The book starts with a chapter on the mechanics of eatins, including chewing and swallowing. After that, it has recipes that are easy, nutritious, and delicious.

I was interested in this book because my husband has troubling swallowing food as a result of cancer treatments. I did find the book helpful.
