Using three real-life cases as examples, describes how forensic artists can reconstruct a person's face from only a skull and sketch faces based on testimony.
I really like these 24/7 books about different jobs and cases, and I have several in my classroom library. This one was truly interesting, since I don't think of art as a means to solving crimes. However, every one of the forensic artists mentioned in this book used both their artwork and their knowledge and the human form and biology to help solve a crime. It was really very interesting, and the text was extremely approachable.
