This book was assigned reading for a college communications class. It’s mostly a compilation of ideas I have read elsewhere. It could be described as part communications textbook, part pop self-help manual. It’s not bad, but it’s not great, either.
Very good book for any one looking to improve their communication or launch their business. Many great and PRACTICAL quotes with how-to-steps on implementing these principles into your life.
The book has a good premise and does deliver some interesting information. It also runs a bit long, probably would have read better had it been a bit shorter. The book is about the age of short attention spans after all.
So far this author is so wordy that I'm having a hard time, not only sticking with the book to read it, but to even understand her point. Let's hope it improves.
A bit repetitive, considering her excellent premise. Nonetheless, worth thinking about several of the plans of attack if you are trying to sell an idea or business.
