His greatest pleasure was to make them watch.

A woman is brutally killed, her husband forced to watch her die.

DI Scott Baker is called in to investigate. Shocked by the extreme cruelty of the murder, Scott wonders who was the real target? The wife, or the now grieving and traumatised husband?

Then, a similar, even more horrifying crime - a whole family is killed in front of the mother. Scott and his team know it’s no coincidence because, like the woman in the first murder, all the victims have had their eyes removed.

But what connects the two crime scenes? And, most importantly, what connects the two people left alive?

As he hunts the killer, Scott finds himself unravelling a tangled web of gang wars, child exploitation and corruption. Which leads him step by step towards the deadliest confrontation of his career…

Eye for an Eye – the sixth in the gripping crime series featuring DI Scott Baker.

Crime Never Pays… Well yes and no depending on what side of the fence you’re on!

I’ve always had a strong passion for whodunnits, crime series, and books. The more I immersed myself in it, the stronger the fascination grew.

In my spare time, you’ll find me in the gym, reading, binge watching Netflix or taking walks in the forest.

Oh, and I’m an avid people watcher, I just love to watch people, their mannerisms, and their way of expressing their thoughts… weird I know, but I could spend hours doing that. It's funny, because watching people often gives me insights and inspiration for describing human interaction in my books.

Fun fact: My favourite, bestest place ever on earth? Any of the Florida theme parks and the mad coasters out there. Add the food, shopping and weather, and you've got the best place on earth... especially when I see the joy on the faces of my family when we're out there :)

Weird fact: Spending an afternoon in a mortuary to bring my books to life. Oops! poor choice of words there :)

I hope you enjoy the stories I craft for you.

Another brilliant novel from Jay Nadal even if a bit gruesome at times. Scott and the team have the task of finding a murderer who does not wish to be found until his task is completed. The team have their work cut out and this is not helped when other police teams are covertly involved.
Meanwhile the romance between Scott and Cars is blossoming nicely but Abby is struggling with work and home commitments.

Fabulous

Another gripping read with DI Scott Baker. The characters are so real and I feel like I'm watching a TV series in my head. I get all tense when I feel the end coming and the bad guys are going to be their comeuppance, I just can't stop reading!

Eye for an eye

DI Scott Baker has so many different emotions, and this book proved it.
Sad in parts with some funny anecdotes. I loved this book, but I say this after every book by Jay Nadal. Once you've read the very first book, you have to read them all.

Really enjoyed this book. A gripping read which kept me guessing. I love the relationship Scott has with his team particularly Abby with this beautiful ending. I of course highly recommend this series but start at Book 1.

Yet again another good story. Will Abby continue or is everything too much? Scott has a lot of pressure and decisions to make.
