Yaneth is a dying planet. Its inhabitants, the Marak, have sent their best and brightest scientists, navigators, and spies to investigate a potential new Earth. Something goes terribly wrong resulting in life-or-death conflict for both species. Vector is a story about betrayal, loyalty, and the struggle for survival, all told through the eyes of one Kusa awaiting his death sentence. The adventure moves at breakneck speed, and will leave you wanting much more. Vector is the first story in “The Extraterrestrial Anthology, Volume Temblar.” The anthology contains ten short stories to make you think and tremble.
I may be biased, but my husband wrote the first short story, Vector. It's currently available for free (as a sort of teaser to the compilation) at Smashwords: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/...
Anyway, this is Sci-Fi that makes you think and wrestle with your emotions and morals :) I hope you can read his story too and offer up your own reviews. Thanks so muchly!
OMG!!!!! This book was fantastic!! :P ...very short read, but really well done. I love how it's told from the alien's point of view. And then to have the aliens come to earth and find zombies running around creating havoc and attacking the aliens themselves! Wow. What a unique thought. I'm definitely up for more by this author. I have no fault to find with his writing whatsoever (and that's saying a lot! LOL)...I was completely drawn into the story and did not want to put it down. FANTASTIC, I say!!!
I really liked this, purely for the zombies Vs aliens aspect. It had a good, thought provoking look at an alternate cuase for the breakout of the human infection and I enjoyed seeing things from the alien perspective throughout this story. Unusual and similar at the same time, this is a must read for anyone needing a quick coffee break hit of adventure, adrenaline and of course zombie fed shenanigans. Give it a read, you won't be sorry you did. :)
Vector is a good, short read. I enjoyed the storyline, and I appreciated the fact that it was free of grammatical, typographical, and/or editorial errors. I look forward to the upcoming anthologies from this publisher; they are sure to please, too.
A very short entertaining read of aliens invading earth. I did not expect this story to be so short but the author did a great job of telling it. Would like to see what else this author has to offer.
