Chosen Girls is a dynamic new series that comunicates a message of empowerment and hope to Christian youth who want to live out their faith. These courageous and compelling girls stand for their beliefs and encourage others to do the same. When their cross-cultural outreach band takes off, Trinity, Melody, and Harmony explode onto the scene with style, hot music, and genuine, age-relatable content. In Backstage Pass, shy, reserved Melody (Mello), gets her world rocked when a new girl moves in across the street from her best friend, Harmony. Soon downtime---or any time with Harmony at all---looks like a thing of the past as the strong-willed Trinity invades Mello and Harmony's world and insists that the three start a rock band. With a little help from the neighborhood computer geek, Lamont, the girls are transformed into music-video superheroes who triumph over sin with the power of the Holy Spirit. Somewhere along the way they open their hearts, learning that both old friends and new are important, and the Chosen Girls band is born.
5 stars.. I don't care!!!! I'm not christian anymore but these girls have my heart!!!! Look at them!! They can brainwash me idc!!! *shout out granny for buying me these when I was a kid it was like christian rebellion within christianity
Melody and Harmony are best friends, that is until Trinity moves on the block. Instead, the three form a rock band. A great book for Jr High girls who want to live out their faith.
Melody's world is changed forever when a new girl moves in to the house next to her best friend, Harmony. Then Trinity, the new girl, comes up with the idea of starting a rock band. Melody was skeptical of this idea though. She knew that she was good at playing the drums, but only plays her music for her brother. He died in an cara accident a few years ago and was good at the drums too. As Harmony, Melody, and Trinity get to know each other they put thier differences away and become best friends. Also the three girls decide to enter a rock band competiton where you have to have make a music video. In the end they learn it is good to have both old and new friends.
I thought that this was a very good book. It was easy to relate to and it was positive to read because it talked about how it is good to have both old and new friends. It also provided fun things to do wen you are trying to make new friends. It showed how there are other people who go through hard times and how they can best cope with the situation. Overall, I thought that this wa an enjoyable book to read and opened my eyes to the art of building friendships.
