Phoebe I had always been quiet and shy. Until I wasn’t, I had to hide my true self behind a shield. Doing what my family requests without complaint even if I didn’t want too. He was supposed to be an arrangement. Married in name only. An alliance between the Greek Mafia and the Bratva I was not meant to fall in love with him. But I did and he didn’t feel the same. He’s having a child with someone else. He broke the terms of our contract. It is now void. And I do the only thing that makes sense to heal my broken heart and get away from my father. Run and finally become the person I was always meant to be. Alexandr It was an arranged marriage. To strengthen our Bratva. I had no problem filling the terms of the contract. For Family and my younger brother who got stuck as a leader when it was supposed to be my job. It was the least I could do. But I wasn’t expecting my bride to be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She made my cold heart beat. I thought we had a connection. I wasn’t expecting her to disappear. I wanted to find her to punish her. But then I realised it was all my fault, now I want forgiveness, to have my love back. When in the end getting forgiveness is no easy feat when I am the one being punished for my sins. This can be read as a standalone, it is book 2 of 3, bound mafia series, with a HEA. Due to mature content and themes this book is recommended for readers aged 18+, this novel may contain triggers.
If I could give negative stars I would. I am starting to think this author hates women. Like seriously has issues. We have Alex and Phoebe who are engaged. They are in love. Alex is thinking of how much he loves her as he meets up with her sister and another woman and fucks them both. Yep nothing shows how much you love them like having a threesome that includes the sister of your love.
He is fucking them for months several times a week. The sister wants money and Alex so her and the OW send a video to Phoebe. She is heart broken and emails the video saying contract void meaning their engagement. It was sent to an old email address so for the next five months Alex is mad at her because she made him love her and then ran away. Not thinking she found out about his cheating so to punish her and forget her he takes a stripper as a mistress who is coke addicted while continuing to fuck others including the sister and the OW. They find the email and he feels bad and is like he will stop the fucking and dump the mistress but they find out where she is but he thinks she is no longer a virgin and slept with someone else so what does he do goes to the club fucks the mistress bare and decides to punish Phoebe he will keep Candy as his mistress after they marry cause you know he cares about her.
Meanwhile Phoebe is a secret assassin and shows up and kills a bunch of men, Alex is oh my I love her what did I do. She tosses his mistress name in his face. She leaves. He tracks her down saying he’s sorry after trying to downplay the fact that he fucked her sister. They are having a talk he is trying to convince her to give him a year to prove he can keep it in his pants and he only wants her. In that conversation he says I never fucked her cunt only her mouth and ass like that should make it better. It was such a disgusting conversation.
Of course she stays a virgin. She ends up with this pos. The way the women are treated in this book oh my it’s just over the top not in a good way. Never-mind the fact that you have all the guys fucking the same women. What is up with having the OW tossing it in the face of the MFC. Insult to injury making crass jokes.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK or decent reads. ========================= S P O I L E R S . . . This hero really isn't very smart, LOL! He is about to make an arranged marriage with our heroine's sister, but as she is unbearable and declares herself in love with another woman, their father changes the bride to our heroine. But our brilliant hero continues having sex with the heroine's sister and another woman, and still filming everything. All behind the heroine's back. But her jealous sister sends her one of the videos and even puts her in the sights of human traffickers. So, she runs away. Not happy, our brilliant hero, in addition to continuing to have sex with her crazy sister and the other woman, he finds a steady mistress. He also has an STD. I think our author has fun giving sexually transmitted diseases to her characters. We discover that our heroine is a trained assassin. Too bad she didn't get rid of her sister, her asshole father and her dumb-as-a-stone hero.
Why a woman who had so many pros as this heroine should end with an asshole weak man who couldn’t keep it in his pants, I just don’t know. The heroine should be a badass, a trained assassin who has no mercy, but she falls for the idiot manwhore that is the hero, I wish authors ended this sham, after all the stereotypes of mafia man = manwhore is old and false, because real life is not like that. Those men are weak, spoiled and slave to their lil tiny sticks and it doesn’t look good. Mafia bosses are cold, hard and very calculating men, and not slave of their passions. This was really trite and the heroine should have at least had sex with plenty of men the time they were separated and he was screwing hundreds. But no, she was still a virgin. A very lethal, cold and cruel virgin. But pleeeeeeeassssse. Hahahhahahahahahah!
I rarely ever DNF a book, I nearly did with this one, but just flicked through to the end.
The first book in the series was "okay," it was the author's debut book, and the premise had promise.
I'm a huge fan of second chance romances, which is why I continued on to the second book. However, it is just awful. The MMC sleeps continuously with the FMC's sister, cheats on her with others as well, and expects forgiveness? It's a complete step too far, and there's no coming back from that. Also, he's not that smart. He saw what his brother did and went through, yet he does worse and seemingly without remorse.
There was just nothing redeemable about Alexandr. He was just awful. There has to be something likable about the MMC for the reader to keep reading, but nope...just nope.
The only parts I did like were the badass nature of Phoebe; she kicked some ass! But unfortunately, it wasn't enough to save the book.
Also, as with the first book, it needs a good edit. Oh, and please find another word to use for "hypocrite"... it's so overused in both books.
Of all the made up characters authors can come with up … sisters sharing a man 🤢🥴
The FMC is an absolute desperate loser, yes she left him and while he moved on…she saved her virginity for him. He of course decided to be a use his community d*ck and she knew. Pathetic.
What a tosser … and I’m talking about the FMC. Though this stuff is made up, it’s tragic to read shit like this and think it’s acceptable… to take trash back into your life.
Throw this book away 🗑️🚮

I was mesmerized by one-third of the book but afterwards, everything went downhill. The Opening was explosive and I was rendered speechless, although it also got me pondering, " It was a moronic move - rendering him a spineless, ridiculous excuse of a "Hero". SMH. But at that time, I was still curious as how the story would pan out and I must admit, the threesome sex scene was hot. But, I digress. What a d*ckhead. At this point, I seriously doubt he would be able to pull himself up in the eyes of the readers. Such a loser. A child loser. Then the story revealed that our heroine was a mean, killing machine, which was amazing at one point, but not at the same time. I mean, the scale was seriously unbalanced, Hero at the bottom and heroine at the top. They don't match. There's no chemistry between them. I just don't see nor feel their attraction. He's like a dog and the heroine a someone who longer cares. At this point, I couldn't continue as my view of the Hero was so corrupted and if I can't like a character, I can't read the book. So there you go. Read at your own discretion.
I have to say I like these stories but the amount of errors in the books is aggravating. V the Author should take them down and edit them. She would most likely get more sales, like I sad I like the stories.
Sophia is a strong woman, she shocks everyone with who she really is. Alex words hard to win her back.
Why I thought it was a good idea to read this after not even finishing the first I’ll never understand.
H is an even bigger cheating piece of shit than his brother, it turns out. He claims to love h from the start of their engagement but cheats on her because she wanted to wait to have sex. So what does he do? Sleep with everything that moves, including regularly sleeping with her sister and another woman. Like they regularly met up once a month while he was taking h out on dates and being lovey dovey. Her sister sends her a sex tape showing a threesome with him and her friend, and that's how she finds out. 🤢
Literally no remorse when he’s caught and she skips town. Then he doubles down and shacks up with crackhead stripper. Doesn’t even use protection with this one by the way, till he realizes said hoe is cheating on him and ripping him off thanks to his ex-fiancée.
This man is more pissed that his former fiancée may not be a virgin anymore and he was “owed” her virginity more than anything else when he realizes she left. wtf.
As expected, h is a barely disguised doormat. She becomes some wack ass assassin thanks to her uncle (?) after skipping town. Knows what a shit H is, but can’t move on because they’re “bound” together. Yeah, you’re bound and he’s running after anything that moves with a vag.
Honestly the breaking point was when H tries to talk h into giving him another shot. When she asks about her sister, he tells her she might not wanna know this but he never fucked her. Only put it in her ass and mouth. 🤮 Oh wow, how considerate and romantic of him. That really sounds like a man I’d be tripping over myself to try again with. So I DNFed probably around 50% and skimmed the rest. It never got better.
How this is considered romance is beyond me. I do not consider this a HEA, because she could have ended up with literally anyone else and it would have been a better ending. I am genuinely confused by the high rating on this. It comes across as rage bait and I'm convinced this author hates women and/or has a cheating kink. I will not read the third.

Another kickass and frankly scary heroine...hint her nickname is Angel of Death. This hero is just as bad as the last one especially since he saw the fallout of that hero's infidelity, but he at least tries to redeem himself.
This book HAS CHEATING I repeat this book has BIG FAT SERIAL CHEATING
Ok, now that this is out of the way I, surprisingly, liked this one the most from CK
Now before I go into the review I have to say that In Real Life there is nothing, noooothing that justifies cheating and there is nothing, noooothing that redeems a cheater no matter how they say they are sorry or never going to do it again
We read books about cheating redemption because we know in real life this shit never goes and women or men who accept it are stupid This is Fiction people This is a dream This is an escape understood? Good
The plot and storyline are so unbelievable and juvenile they border ridiculousness. However, it is this ridiculousness that made the book work In all my imagination, I would never have thought that a Pakhan or mafia boss would cry over a woman I wish it but it will never happen And I loved how many times Alex cried his cheating ass off
I loved Phoebe. Her character is unbelievable but I enjoyed her. She was tough. She was decisive. She was ruthless. She was kind. She didn't take bull from anyone
Reread 21/11/25 Ok so I think this was the first book I read of Charlottes and I did enjoy, am enjoying it again I guess but what is with the man hoe and the fricken virgin. Under no circumstances does this guy deserve Phoebe, or her virginity or her loyalty to keep said virginity for him. He F$CKED her sister and kept doing it as revenge thing that she broke his heart. No one is this fricken dense but I think it’s a trait with this author. I’m a lover of drama lots of drama and angst but there comes a point where we have to say, enough is enough and have a heroine who gets back at the hero. She’s fricken badass and still pining for a disgusting excuse for a mafia prince.

Well, this brother was more gross than the last. So continue at your own risk. Viewer discretion is advised 😂. For some reason they think it's ok to cheat on their future brides even though they're in love with them before marriage. The author tried to use this characters ADHD as a crutch for all his bad choices. Not gonna fly with me with that one. Didn't dislike the herione, but she's the number one assassin in the world killing people left and right. 🙄🙄 Yeah, these kind of female badasses don't work for me. Also, why is everyone laughing in this book? They're always in tears falling to the floor. Doing it in their big mafia meetings as well. Anyways, I disliked this book more than the first. The ow scenes are graphic and just plain ol gross. Why do these idiots keep sleeping with the same woman who shared her chlamydia? 🤷 Don't answer that. Though why this brother was the worst was because he slept with the h's sister for two year's while waiting to marry the h. Then again after the h disappears. Including taking a mistress which he rationalized he'd keep even during the marriage. Oh best part! He thought because he only had anal sex with sister everything was A ok. Not!The only reason she took him back was because she almost died. So yeah, this really wasn't a good read at all. I thought possibly Sergei their bff wouldn't cheat on his gf, but low and behold he does. With the same chlamydia ridden skank. Who knows? I sure don't 🤷. Oh, best part is these men take their skanks to get their birth control shots so they can go bareback. Both anally and vaginally. Sorry TMI 🙈🤣. Whew! Still prefer this author's MC books though they are also OTT with skank shenanigans all around. Once again CM doesn't hold back on the violence, but that doesn't bother me.

I'm already down the rabbit hole, so here I go. Second book was worse in my opinion, but I still didn't hate it🫣 ‼️THIS BOOK IS ABOUT CHEATING, SPOILER BELOW‼️
This book is good but how come these men are idiots sleeping with the same women over and over they need a good kicking in the behind for sure. Love that these women are fierce to stand up to there men as well love it
It’s difficult to get into their “love” when the author gives us three scenes where they are together. The first time is (at 16 yr old) the meeting for the marriage agreement where they don’t even talk. The second is her 18th and engagement. We get some sweetness and connection when he gives her the engagement ring. The Third is (21 yr old) three years later at their weekly date where they are both secretly madly in love with the other. (All the while he’s dicking down her manipulative traitor of a sister because she’s hot.)
Where is the love? We get no intimacy. No connection. Little affection. But still no real relationship development. We are just told they are in love.
I don’t understand how the fmc can forgive the mmc. He cheated with her sister for years! Then cheated with a second woman. Cheated again with a couple other women. Then slept with a coke head stripper….Oral anal vaginal sex with many many women all with no condom… yeah no. I wouldn’t have it in me love him through his flaws. He’s disgusting. And What is there to like about him? He doesn’t do anything but have ADHD and screw other women? He’s truly not an interesting mmc.
I also didn’t believe this half cocked plot that “her father loved her and felt guilty for sending her away all for her protection while also still treating her like shit and protecting her back stabbing two faced manipulative sister.”
This is my 4th or 5th book and I’ve decided I’m breaking up with this author. Sigh.. it’s probably “a me thing” (this tends to happen a lot) because I do actually like her wild plots. especially because they are all full of angst and heartbreak. But the writing just kills me.
This will have spoilers… I read the first in this series and while I had a hard time with it, I decided to read this one. I don’t have problem with the cheating trope, issues with an OW, etc. What have a problem with, and this book unfortunately suffers from, is the typical double standard: MMC cheats before and after, while the FMC remains a virgin. This was especially hard because the MMC saw what the MMC in the first book of the series did and disapproved of it. He also knows the FMC’s reaction to what happened on the first book, as the FMC in that one was her close friend. I had to DNF this at 20%. If you don’t mind this double standard, then I guess that this book will be ok for you (and based on the ratings plenty don’t seem to mind). There is just not enough groveling in the world for me to accept a MMC that decides to continue cheating on the FMC when he hears she is no longer a virgin (except she still was but he didn’t know) while he has had multiple twosomes and ONS during the years they have been together. Not for me…

TW on page cheating men, these men are dumb dumb. The story itself isn't bad but saving virginity consistently irritates me especially in a strong fmc.overall rating was 3 out if 5
How does it compare to the 1st one? No real progress or lessons learned.
The fmc is 'stronger' than the first one - but pretty unbelievable. All the hiding-her-real-self/persona 0f a deadly trained assassin who kills/kicks ass quite unreservedly later on, while the zero watches (slack-jawed/'hard'/proud/or actually quite inconsequentially) - is quite a stretch that I couldn't manage. Comic variety stunts really, like dropping out of the roof? 0-O I chuckled to cope.
The mmc is an a-h of 'bigger' proportions - because again this one too develops feelings for his young fiancee but hasn't learned any lesson from his brother's story, and cheats - and how. The author makes sure we get a ringside view as he (couldn't help himself and) fekks the fmc's hateful sister/his ex in a threesome because well, why not? And continues to do so even as his wedding approaches, telling himself he will stop after the wedding. And as the fiancée doesn't know what's the harm? Where's the love, the loyalty? As I said the author makes sure we know how and how much he enjoys it - did I wish to know that while he avoids the sister's v-hole, he does lick (and more) her perineum end to end??? This very action needs a trigger waring in itself! More icky? He does shower but then attends his little niece's birthday and proceeds to kiss (the cheek etc.) of all the women in family - mom, SIL, niece. And I could not un-think where that mouth had been an hour earlier. 🤮
As if this nauseous scene wasn't enough, the author gives us two more non-mc involved s*x scenes that are equally or more gross. Why though? Maybe because the mcs have a long way to go till they share cooties and the audience might bay for s*x scenes? Are we so degenerate? Yes?
The h is shown as having this real strong inner core but actually wimps out when faced with his 'panty-dropping' charms. So not relatable. He deserved to die - asap. Not be taken back as his redemption is not proven imo. A guy who couldn't do without s8x with the sister who hates the fmc, other skanks and loves his threesomes is not the kind to do without, imho (again). I just wish some author has the gumption to for once have a fmc lose her v-card to someone in such a situation. Not just trying and it not happening, just cuz her body-parts and heart (unlike his) refuse to forget him and cooperate. Her personality/ character is so difficult to get into, giving one whiplash - going from cold killer to weepy needy woman.
*sigh* What else happens - she get attacked, almost dies. He 'proves his devotion' by his bedside vigil - and then finally 'the s*x', more discussions and hea. His deeds are simply inexcusable, unforgivable and he knows it too. Because all he does in reply to her rants - is to bow his head and say 'give me another chance, let me prove...' etc.
Last Q to the author - why can't the zero block the sister's phone number? Why is she still msging him -well into the hea and the epilogue? Actually, why isn't she dead or locked away somewhere?
So yeah, his 'love' and the 'hea' remain doubtful to me.

The H from the last book was not only horrible, but an idiot. The H of this book is the brother from the last. You’d think that he’d learn from his brother’s mistakes, but NOPE. Honestly, this guy was just sh*t, egotistical, hypocritical, and misogynistic.
And as usual, this author really needs to proofread her books and factcheck some of the information she provided. Similar to another author, you really need to forgo reality and common sense when reading her stories. But I can’t deny, her books are fully of angst, betrayal, and farfetched drama - you will be entertained to a certain degree lol.
SPOILER * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
I honestly can’t believe she just forgave him. He basically blamed the h for all his cheating, first cause she was an innocent and then for her abandoning him. Yes, at the end he owned up to his mistakes by saying he knew they were BS excuses on his part. But I genuinely did not see any actions from his end that showed growth or that he’s truly changed. Things were mentioned here and there that could potentially show he learned his lesson, but it needed to be elaborated on.
Also, WTH was up with her father and sister? He loved her, but he never really did anything to show it. Until the very last minute and the same with her sister - all of a sudden she gets help and now wants to fix everything? She also forgave her father way too easily… I don’t even think we read an apology from his mouth.
Her almost dying and going into a coma was used to resolve all the issues she had with the characters. This authors books are kind of ridiculous, but we at least see some redemption with the H, I didn’t feel it this time.
MC is so unlikeable. How did the author even think that he could be redeemed?!
He cheats during their engagement while professing to love her. He continues to keep sleeping with the same women once she’s left. And as other reviews mention, he plans to keep a mistress after his marriage to punish the FMC.
This guy can’t be faithful and I absolutely do not believe he will remain faithful.
She on the other hand went from naive meek virgin to secret assassin virgin?! The heck?! This change happens over 5 months. 5 months!
I’ve read two books of this author and I realise her writing is not for me.
The scenes are too OTT. If there’s cheating, it’s very explicit and almost too much cheating. It doesn’t progress the story at all and more for shock value.
If there’s a confrontation, it’s very OTT soap opera cringey confrontation, which has to involve a lot of people reacting or observing the moment the FMC becomes this strong person.
I liked the tropes involved but the execution was not to my liking.

I gotta say I loved the mc Series this author wrote but this book aggravates me to no end! Alex was wrong on so many levels he didn’t deserve forgiveness at all! The way he justifies it “ I loved you so much I didn’t want to rush you “ ok so let’s go f*ck the sister that hates his “beloved” who tries to sell her! Who turns her own father against her ( he doesn’t deserve forgiveness either like wtf!!!) honestly phoebe should have said fuck you all of them betrayed her abused her mentally way to much! The book was good but I find it hard to believe that any relationship just comes back from all that with a deep bond? Nah no thanks
bound by you: enemies-lovers (bound mafia series book 2)
Phoebe and Alex had a complicated and difficult relationship. Alex had no problems cheating on his girlfriend with her sister. It was heartbreaking for Phoebe to discover that Alex’s family knew about his cheating. The storyline was excellent and compelling to read. Great series by this author.
I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how angry this male character made me. If you thought Damien from the first book was bad—this guy is worse. Disgusting doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Not only does he constantly sleep around, but he also sleeps with her own sister. Yes, the same sister who literally tried to sell her off. The levels of betrayal are unbelievable. The man is pure dirt.
He shows no true remorse throughout most of the book. His justifications for his actions are selfish and cruel—he continuously made decisions that hurt her, and only when she’s at her lowest point does he decide he’s “ready” to change.
And how do they end up together? After everything—she leaves a club, gets attacked, nearly dies, and spends four months in a coma. And that is when she realizes she loves him and wants to be with him? That she can “forgive” the betrayal with her sister? I couldn’t believe it.
To really show you the kind of man this character is, here’s his own words—because nothing I say could be more damning:
“There are no excuses, exceptions, or reasons for what I did. Did I believe in my mind that it was okay, so I didn’t pressure you into something you weren’t ready for? Yes. Did I believe that because I didn’t fuck Selene in her cunt, it was okay to do what I did? Again, yes. Did I believe it was fair game to get a mistress when you left, and continue to see her when I was told the reason why you left? Yes, I did. Did I believe that because I was told you fucked someone, it made it okay to continue fucking those women? Yes, I did.”
“Did I believe that I was punishing you for leaving me and planned to keep a lover even after you returned as punishment? Yes, I did.”
“I love you. I love you so much. I have no excuses because it’s all bullshit. I was arrogant… I thought that once we married, it wouldn’t matter, because I wouldn’t sleep with anyone again… I knew what I was doing was wrong, especially who I was doing it with…”
“I was an idiot, a man who loved you so much but was blinded and cocky. I thought you’d never leave me, and then you did, and I broke… But I was dead inside.”
“When I realized why you left, my guilt ate me alive… so I decided to bury it with Candy… There’s no reason or excuse for what I did, and I pay for that mistake every day.”
This man is the definition of toxic, and yet the story ends with him getting exactly what he wants. She forgives him. They get married. And we’re expected to root for that?
I don’t mind a messy book—hell, I read them for the chaos. But this wasn’t just messy. This was a masterclass in emotional manipulation, and the fact that she forgave him in the end just made me furious. If you like your romance with a side of rage, betrayal, and men who do not deserve redemption… well, you’ve found your book.
Of course the female main character was a virgin…
