Wow! Talk about an adrenaline rush! I think I held my breath the entire time! Overly protective, taken, games and memories resurfacing had me on edge the entire time! Raw and gritty! Over the top exciting! My goodness! Incredible! Anxiously awaiting the next installment!

This is the second book in the Dark Sovereign Underboss series.
You guys know I love this world. After reading book 1 one of the hottest books of the year. I was so excited to get stuck into this.
This maybe the darkest book Bella has written. So check triggers.
It’s forbidden, it’s very heavy mafia. It’s funny as f*** these men make me melt, and also die at the same time lol.
These 5 brothers love woman. And they love hard.! They all have their kinks, and they all have different personalities. And in this book you see more of that.
They run an empire, in that empire they own a very special club.
A naughty club.
But someone is trying to destroy it.
The Del Rossa men have enemies and they are out for blood.
Since the moment Mia became a Del Rossa and became under the protection of the family, she has been a target. Now married to Nicoli she has become the target.
Nicoli has tried to protect her but doing this he has hidden the truth about her family. About the man who wants to destroy them and why he wants to.
Her family were killed when her and her brother Maximo were young. Mia has never questioned her past or what happened to her father, the drug cartel king but things are now starting to unravel with the secrets her brother and Nicoli have hidden from her. She wants answers.
This is another great read.
I loved it. Nicoli is possibly the most possessive brother so far, and Alexius was on a level but Nicoli… wow.!
The brothers are hilarious.
I fell in love with them in this book. You get more of Caelian and Isaia. You think the twins are naughty. These two are on another level lol.
I can’t wait for there books.!!

Tra i fratelli Del Rossa e Nunzio Ferrero non scorre buon sangue, soprattutto dopo che Nicoli ha ucciso Felix, per aver quasi violentato Mira. Siamo al parcheggio del Mito e Nicoli, dopo l'ennesimo confronto con Nunzio, è pronto a sparargli. Ma Alexius, il suo gemello, lo convince a non fare il suo gioco e di riportare Mira a casa. Nunzio ha messo gli occhi su Mira, sa che è la debolezza di Nicoli e vuole farlo soffrire. Dunque, decide che deve averla... a qualunque costo. Mira, ostinata a non voler ascoltare Nicoli, intraprende la carriera di wedding planner; ciò la porterà a lasciare la casa per risolvere dei problemi ed è proprio lì che Nunzio ne approffiterà per rapirla. Nicoli, grazie a suo fratello Caelian, scopre che sua moglie sarà la preda di una "caccia" che Nunzio regolarmente organizza per clienti "particolari" del suo locale.
Da qui in avanti, la storia cambia ritmo narrativo, diventando ancora più oscura, fredda e crudele, un dark romance in piena regola.
Mira combatterà con le unghie e con i denti, ma riuscirà Nicoli a salvarla o quando arriverà, sarà troppo tardi? La penna di Bella J. non mi delude mai, anzi. Il suo modo crudo di scrivere, riesce a coinvolgermi ogni volta in maniera totalizzante, tanto da farmi entrare in empatia con i personaggi. La lettura è stata talmente incredibile che mi ha tenuta col fiato sospeso fino alla fine. Il passato di Mira mi ha stesa, la sua sofferenza mi è entrata sottopelle. Tra tutti i dark letti di Bella J, credo che questo volume sia il più duro, il più pesante tra tutti. Nicoli rimane al momento il mio fratello preferito. Se Alexius vi sembra possessivo, Nicoli lo è ancora di più: vuole vendetta e questo lo porterà a essere assetato di sangue.
Nel pieno stile dell'autrice, non mancheranno le scene spicy all'interno del romanzo, roventi al punto giusto e coerenti con i protagonisti.
Adesso, non mi resta che divorare il sesto volume, "Scoperto", per concludere la storia tra Nicoli e Mirabella, per poi passare a Caelian.

Book two of Nicoli and Mirabella’s story picks up at the end of book one, with their confrontation with Nunzio Ferrera outside of Myth. Nicoli wants to be rid of Nunzio and fire his trigger but his twin talks him down and Nicoli takes Mira home. Their passionate relationship gets steamier and the two of them become closer than ever throughout the book.
But Nunzio has set his sights on Mira and he’s determined to get his hands on her. He’s already managing to get his drugs inside of Myth. He intends to open clubs of his own that won’t take care of the girls as the Del Rossa’s do. He doesn’t care about the women he hurts and uses, and Mira should’ve died by his hand years ago.
As Mira begins her wedding planner business, she inadvertently finds herself embroiled with people that do not favour the Del Rossa’s. When she turns up at the wedding venue to fix a last minute mistake, she finds herself on her own and in a vulnerable position as Maximo had to stay in the bar.
When she’s kidnapped and put through hell, Nicoli is tearing his hair out. He blames himself and no matter what the family do, they cannot find Mira.
Caelian has admitted that he attends ‘hunts’, where at least five men search for the prey. He didn’t realise that his dark side had been catered for him by Nunzio, and the latest prey is going to be Mira…
This is a fabulous continuation of Nicoli and Mira’s relationship tale. The book is dark and what Mira endures is not for the faint of heart. It’s written both cleverly and carefully and Mira is a fighter even when it seems impossible. During her ordeal, memories resurface from her past, something that she will have to confront at sometime.
Overall an excellent read proving how strong a character Mira is and how entrenched her and Nicoli are together.

This series just keeps getting better and is so unbelievably good!! Since meeting Mira & Nikolai in the first trilogy, I knew their story had the makings for one hell of a journey. This author did not disappoint. From the first page to the cliffhanger, this couple's story was an emotional wrecking ball to my heart but so worth it. The plot was addictive while the angst had me on the edge of my seat, dying to know what would come next. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Mira and Nicoli's chemistry is amazing. I love them. I'm also enjoying the light banter between the brothers.

Lots of hot, hot sizzling dark scenes,
action packed drama, mystery, suspense, lies, secrets, knife play, betrayal and a dose of banter.
I suggest reading the first book of this fabulous trilogy Nicoli. Since this is the second book of the trilogy it does end in a cliffy but so worth the wait! Can't wait for the final installment Unveiled! The hunt for Nunzio!

HIGHLY GRIPPING!!!
My anticipation for this book was so high and I can say that every freaking expectation was met and more. Bella this book had my heart shattering and bleeding for Mira. It completely wrecked me!!! The intensity of it consumed me.
After reading Nicoli I knew you were going to break us with His Queen Bella. I just wasn’t prepared for all the anger that would arise from the devastating attack Mira endured. I literally needed to close my kindle and take a moment to breath. The fear, the trauma and realization of it all was so overwhelming.
I then said to myself OMG!! This readers, just shows us what a PHENOMENAL storyteller Bella is. The depth of emotions and feelings you will experience are REMARKABLE.
These characters have such a deep connection to each other it gives us so much of that burning desire and energy that we crave in a romance book. Believe me when I say Nicoli and Mira are STUNNING and 🌶️🌶️🌶️
I really like the devotion and love Nicoli has for Mira. He worships her!!!

His Queen by Bella J is book Two in the Dark Sovereign Underboss Series. This continues the story of Nicoli and Mirabella. Their story started in the previous book 'Nicoli'. So you should read that to fully enjoy this book. This book does pick up where we left off. This book shows the strength that Mirabella has to move forward after what has happened. Nicoli is working to standby his wife. Enjoyed this book and series.

Is it a curse to be on their radar? Maybe, but as cruel as they are they will make you fall in love with them. It is sexy, sizzling, erotic in this dark world.

His Queen by Bella J., is the second book in the Dark Sovereign Underboss Series, we resume the story of Nicoli and Mirabella, while their relationship progresses and they allow themselves to live the feelings they have always kept for each other, an imminent danger emerges over their heads, so Nicoli will have to try to keep his head cool and make decisions that will help him keep Mirabella out of danger, now that Nunzio Ferrero suspects the fraud of the marriage and is trying to make them make a mistake and avenge his cousin, but that will not be so simple and even if they take all the precautions, the danger will be just around the corner. In this book we will be able to obtain answers to many of the questions from the first book, but still nothing is resolved, Nicoli is preparing for revenge and a war which will not end until the Ferrero is finished. This book brings us even more difficult, intense and heartbreaking scenarios and circumstances, part of the secrets that come to light are completely unexpected, more dangers, a lot of action, but also full of passion, sensuality and love for which these characters characterized themselves since the first book. This story continues in a next book and I already want these characters to get the revenge and happiness that has cost them so much, you won't want to miss this story. Highly recommended!

Oh my! Oh my! I don't know if I read what I read. It's worth saying that this book delivers everything. You will be gutted at the end of the book. I felt every emotion with "His Queen". All the anger, tears, and sadness is in the book. I don't know if reading book 3 will make me complete.
The trilogy is a must-have on the bookshelf.

Ok so... there's no excuses. The author warns you up front that ish is about to get dark. I did not heed the warning and was caught off guard. I am heartbroken for Mirabella.
Oh and also, gruesome, like peeking through shut eyes while I read some of the more bloody parts - but duh it's a mafia book.
They are still a great couple. I couldn't put this down. It was insane.
My only gripe would be that some of it was a little on the nose, you can see the setups a mile away but I was still thoroughly entertained by this rollercoaster.

Wow what a ride!!!! I enjoyed the first book in The Dark Sovereign Underboss series and I was so excited and ready to jump into this book.
This is a lot darker and has more triggers than the first book so please check the trigger warnings on her website before you dive in. The Del Rossa men when they love, they love hard!!! When Mia became a wife at the end of the first book she had a target on her head, Nicoli wants to protect her at all costs of course but by doing this he has hidden the truth about her family from her........will she find out? What will happen when she does, and finds out Nic kept it from her all this time?
My god!!! I devoured this book just as I did the first one, I can't get enough of these men and their queens. Honestly you won't be disappointed in any of Bella J 's books. I highly recommend any if not all of them. I can't wait for more books in this series.

His Queen is a phenomenal second book in the Dark Sovereign Underboss series and we continue with Nocoli Del Rossa and Mirabella's story.
Nicoli's biggest weakness is Mirabella and so does every mafia man who is wanting Nicoli's blood. For me this is the darker of the two books it's dark, bloody and captivating and definitely hard not to love the Del Rossa men.
But can Nicoli save them both?
Bella J balanced this book out perfectly with some funny moments.

Whoa this got dark! This one got a higher rating as I hit 60% and then had to stay up into the night and finish it. This whole series is really well written and I'm looking forward to the end of Nicoli/Mira's story.

I had such a hard time putting the book away. Nikoli and Mirabella are one intoxicating and intense couple. With their true feelings towards each other finally open to the world, you could feel their love, devotion, uninhibited lust. The passion,spice, these two are pure sex and unadulterated desire fulfilled. But being out in the world has a dark side, especially in the mafia - danger, threats, struggle to make the right choices and accepting them. Nikoli and Mirabella found themselves on quite new territory, each strong headed and determined to carry on with their own decisions regarding each other, trying to find balance and understanding. And even following the rules and agreements does not always work as planned.
Nikoli and Mirabella's story is complex and complicated, with high and lows, and moments that made me cry ugly tears, feel the pain and surrounding emotions. The battle they fought did break them, but not completely, and I’m just waiting for Unveiled to witness the process of them putting all the broken pieces back together, regaining their strength and united stand proudly as deserved.

"La sua regina" fa parte della serie "Sovrano Oscuro" di Bella J.
È il secondo libro dedicato a Nicoli e Mirabella.
Per il terzo e ultimo volume bisogna aspettare fino al primo Marzo, data di pubblicazione.
Per chi avesse letto la prima trilogia dedicata al fratello gemello Alexius e ad Leandra, noterà una notevole differenza proprio perché il rapporto che unisce Nicoli e Mira è un rapporto consolidato sin da quando Mira era una bambina e Nicoli appena un ragazzo.
Hanno avuto sempre un legame speciale che negli anni si è trasformato in un amore travolgente. Per tanto tempo Nicoli ha rinunciato alla donna che ha sempre amato, tenendola a distanza a volte anche in modo crudele e Mira ne ha sofferto tantissimo.
Ma una volta dichiarato i propri sentimenti Nicoli e Mira non riusciranno più a fare a meno uno dell'altra.
«Non ci sono parole per descrivere quanto ho bisogno di possederti, Mira. Tutta.»
«Non puoi possedermi, Nicoli. Puoi solo amarmi.»
«Per me è la stessa cosa. Possederti. Amarti.»
La prima parte del libro si concentra sul consolidamento del loro amore, impareranno a conoscere i loro sentimenti e quello di cui hanno bisogno. La passione travolgente che li unisce, e gli incontri sempre più infuocati.
Nicoli non saprà tenere a bada la gelosia e l'ossessione che ha per il suo piccolo "Colibrì" e Mira diventerà cosciente del potere che ha sul suo uomo.

Pur conoscendo la famiglia e i traffici in cui è coinvolta e i nemici che voglio prendere il potere dei fratelli "Del Rossa". Mirabella continua a ribellarsi alle regole che le impone Nicoli rischiando la sua incolumità.
Nicoli cercherà di darle spazio e di non soffocarla, ma quali saranno le conseguenze?
La seconda parte ci catapulta in un inferno di proporzioni catastrofiche, la lettura diventa più cruenta, oscura, l'autrice inserisce elementi che non avrei mai immaginato, creando tanta suspense e aspettative.
Verrà fuori la natura di Nicolai, la sua oscurità avrà il sopravvento dopo che i nemici hanno osato toccare il suo "Colibrì".
"Questo è quello che succede quando qualcuno osa portare via il mio Colibrì. Un fottuto massacro."
L'adrenalina mi ha accompagnato per tutta la seconda parte, facendomi percepire l'orrore, il dolore e la paura dei protagonisti ma anche la loro forza, perché insieme sono uno il sostegno dell'altro.
Mira conferma la sua natura forte e determinata dimostrando di essere una combattente anche in situazioni di estremo pericolo.
Verranno fuori finalmente i segreti che tanto gelosamente Nicolai ha tenuto nascosti per anni per non ferire Mira.
Come reagirà Mira quando finalmente aprirà gli occhi e i suoi incubi avranno un volto?
Il libro termina con un cliffanger pazzesco dandoci un indizio di ciò che ci aspetta nell'ultimo capitolo della storia: suspense, colpi di scena e passione tutto in stile Bella J.

In this second book in the Dark Sovereign Underboss trilogy, His Queen starts off with a touch of excitement and then settles into marital bliss and sexual fulfillment for Nicoli and Mirabella Del Rossa. But then, oh boy, talk about a complete turnaround with sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat nervous anticipation. The action and drama are both at times extremely violent, gory and terrifying; nothing is held back—as it shouldn’t be.
I love how much backbone Mira has when dealing with Nicoli, she sure is an able partner for him. After both denied their love for each other for so long it’s great seeing them as equals in the bedroom too. 😉 Little by little more of Mira’s childhood memories start returning and never in a million years would I have imagined what had happened! I always like when the unpredictable happens in a story and this story has that in spades.
When this author creates ‘bad’ characters she truly deserves the recognition of being one of the best at doing so. Plus, their actions are disgustingly heinous and you spend the whole time trying to decide what a suitable end for them would be. It’s absolutely impossible not to become emotionally invested in the story and its characters as the storyline hooks you in and keeps you enthralled until the end.
Great analogies are found literally all throughout the book, for example… “The first thing I feel as I drift awake is the chill wrapped around my legs like a snake squeezing the life from my limbs.” In this scene it paints such a vivid image yet only describing one aspect, such terrific writing. Bring on book three, Unveiled!

Intense and violent!
This was very violent. Yes, I know it's a mafia story and the Del Rossa men are not good men but the violence in this was overwhelming. Even the consensual sex had violent tones to it, let alone the non-consensual sex. As much as I didn't respond to the violence, I was engrossed in the story. The writing is excellent, and the story well told with Mira's memories releasing from the depths at perfect moments throughout the story, and intense drama at the heart of this part of the Underboss series. The story is not over, the war with the Ferrero family has taken a major step up, I expect the conclusion will be a satisfying end to Mira and Nicoli's chapter in the Dark Sovereign saga, albeit a potential bloodbath.

Thank you Bella J! This book was great! I loved the characters and the story. But, I will admit to some of the scenes were hard to get through. But I finished and am anxiously awaiting Unveiled.
