9/10 if the ending was a tad longer it would be mighty fine. As it is the Judge seeks out justice while being hunted in a vividly expressed story. The first of 12 books about Judge Clay Torn, written by Jason Manning under the pen name Hank Edwards (think Judge Dredd but back in the times of the wild west).

This had an interesting fast moving story. Very light, quick reading. Good book, I look forward to reading the rest of the series. So far though, I prefer this author's Mountain series (under his real name, Jason Manning) much better.
