Was required to read this in high school, as we were associated with Morningstar Fellowship Church, pastored by Rick Joyner, father of the author. Think the "Twilight" series equivalent of The Pilgrim's Progress, but written even more poorly. If you must read bland religious fiction, do yourself a favor and skip this one, at least.
It was a slow beginning, and I wasn't sure yet how I felt about it, but about half way through it picked up, became more detailed and involved, and the ending made this a great read. The Chosen Path is a good reminder to believers of the road we're on, the purpose we have, a way to find that purpose, and why and whom we serve, our Savior.
