A rollicking adventure on the high seas. Protagonist Joseph isn't quite sure that he's ready to settle down, get married, and begin his career as a banker. He has a craving for adventure, so when he discovers the location of a famous shipwreck, the Ironbound, he knows he has to find it. He meets Albert, a down on his luck bounty hunter with a submarine, and puts his inheritance on the line in the hopes of locating the treasure of the Ironbound. Out to sea they go. But this adventure won't be easy, as a group of pirates are hot on their heels. Will they find the treasure and survive this perilous journey? Pick up Ironbound Path and find out.

This is a quick and easy read. Though technically part of a series, it is basically a stand alone novel, with all new characters. I really enjoyed the adventure aspect, but I'm not sure how much I believe in the romance between Joseph and his fiancee Sophia. At the start, they have barely spent any time together, and it just feels like an arranged marriage, but by the end it seems that they are in love? There's not a ton of worldbuilding here, but it's a fun little adventure story nonetheless.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
