i have fallen victim to the regina and rodrick ship due to tik tok. i was looking for books with that vibe and stumbled across this. unfortunately this was not what i was looking for because this was just rich girl x poor boy and i wanted something with more angst, more push and pull from both fmc and mmc. i wanted them to be mean to each other and this was just too sweet for me.

I was afraid I wouldn't like it but I ate it up. It’s so freakin’ good it should have been a full lenght book. Noah Watson and Seraphina Rosenthal are mine. I don’t share, thanks.

I thought I'd hate this because even though I love Rose, I hate the tropes. Poor Girl x Rich Boy is a huge hit, but Poor Boy x Rich Girl sucks, I'm sorry y'all that's just not my cup of tea. However, Noah is such a sweetheart that I ended up loving him too, I love Seraphina so if he's understanding with her and makes her happy then it's winnie approved.

This is also the first book I started liking Cammie, I really want her to have a book or novella.

idk how i feel about this though, i love a good mean/bitchy rich girl x poor guy trope and the set up was promising but i feel like it could’ve been so sm better if it had stronger writing

it also had two of my pet peeves: no protection use or a even a proper discussion of it and ugly ass outfits. i mean this girl really showed up to some party looking like a whole bouquet of roses…and thinking that was a fit

and i rarely say this about a man cause i love pathetic men but where was this guy’s backbone? that’s prob my toxicity talking though bc i was ready to eat up the angst after he found out the fmc was just using him but nothing, he just accepted it. would’ve also loved some more jealousy from him

NOAH WATSON THE MAN THAT YOU ARE 🛐 🛐 🛐

I’m so glad I read this novella after that disastrous first book (I have no problem with the author’s writing obviously but the mmc in the first book was seriously grating on my nerves) and I actually can’t believe the same author that wrote Evan created the most loving, kind and warm hearted, compassionate, and gentle guy like Noah. He seems subdued and quiet but the mouth on this man when he’s in bed?!?!? Oh good lord 🥵🥵

Then there’s Seraphina. Oh man, the way I avoid books with mean girls behavior and judgmental people like her but while she is all of that (ngl some things she said pisses me off) but as long as she’s not causing any physical damage or harm to another woman then I’m good (I’m looking at you RK). Seraphina is a spoiled, judgmental, privileged rich princess but then she met Noah and her life seems a lot less grey. Oh she’s mean alright but Noah loves that about her and I’m not about to shame the man for his kink 👀

The chemistry between these two is off the chart and the writing is sublime. The spice is HOT. My only complaint is that this is only a novella and not a whole book.

This novella deserves to be a full length book I wanted more! More of Rose and Noah
Noah he’s such a gentlemen with a filthy mouth
And the fact he’s a boxer makes him even more attractive
I loved how he took care of Rose and made her feel special and even though he knew she was using him

Seraphine she was misunderstood yeah glad we got more insight in her character and why she’s acting the way she is
Well I didn’t like her in a few bits where she talked bad about Sophie (she’s literally a bad bitch so yeah I’ll defend her)
I wanted more from this!!
