In a dystopian not-too-distant future in Japan, Hiro lives with his father on an island populated by androids, where they eke out a meager existence while trying to keep out of sight. Charming story, awesome art, cool to read about friendly robots for a change. There's two cool cameos on this book, Bender and Usagi Yojimbo.

Definitely a transitional volume. I do think the story isn't moving fast enough for these 40 page chunks. If it is going to move this slow, it's going to read better as a whole when it's finished. Visually it's amazing.

Це друга частина розібраного на три шматки альбому. і звичайно ж, в способі подачі сюжету нічого радикально не змінюється, просто сюжет трохи уповільнюється, видихає та дає джусу під фінал епізоду.

Головний герой знаходить собі нових рободрузів, і всі вони йдуть до башти, де їх хтось чекає. Йти довгенько, а вороги не сплять. Атмосфера покинутого парку, де роботи намагаються слідувати старим протоколам, перебиває все. Лишилась і стара фішка з діалогами - говорить лише хлопчик, від роботів можна дочекатися лише системних повідомлень, і невідомо, чи чує їх дитина.

Вже хочу, щоб цей альбом вийшов українською.

Even though it was a sweet, short instalment in this storyline, I feel the child could speak less….. like, only when absolutely necessary.

This art is so fucking sexy. Loved the Bender cameo on page 10 too lol.
