Catalina’s past is coming back to haunt her as her long-lost family members return, demanding what they think they deserve.
They’ve heard about Eastwood’s annual Halloween purge and see it as the perfect opportunity to make their move. Catalina must navigate her way through the chaos of the town’s dark past and her own family’s secrets to try and keep everyone safe.
Will she be able to protect herself and those she loves, or will the past come back to haunt her in the worst possible way?
I was so excited for this release. I'm still obsessed with the boys, Cole, Dorian and Nyx never disappoint. Cat does have some concerns about their relationship, and she thinks the boys don't listen to her, and they feel like they are just trying to protect her. She does decide to take a break and move out for a week, with her friend Riley. The boys decided to give her a week, as promised but they are determined to protect her and bring her home. When she comes home, Cole even takes her on a date, he's the one who has the most trouble expressing himself. Things start to look up, and then Halloween comes around.
This year's purge is anything goes, including murder and surrounding towns are invited to participate. The guys are planning to take down the mayor, who is responsible for the purge and the President and VP of their gang, who screwed them over. Meanwhile, someone is stalking Cat again and all fingers point to her brother's. After the guys succeed in their take down, they get kidnapped by Cat's Mom and brother's. And their goal is for Cat to come save her boys. This year she's stronger, and she's not going to go down without a fight, and boy does she fight.
"My girl is the strongest person I know and never gives up. No matter what gets thrown at her, she still pushes forwards."
And thank God because when she's with her boys... 🔥 I'm not sure if this is the end of the series but DAMN. When they are together.. 🤤
"Fuck, baby. That was intense.” I rest my head on her back, breathing hard. We’re all a puddle of bodies on the makeshift bed we created, and I couldn’t think of any other place I’d rather be."

This was such a good ending! I’m sad that it’s over! 😭 I love the way C.L. Easton writes. So gruesome, so spicy, just what I like. 😉 All of the characters grew immensely, especially Catalina, and everyone got what they deserved! Such a good book, and perfect for spooky season! 🙌🏼🖤
I love this series. I hate it is ending but if you are looking for a dark, spicy, masked possessive men, why choose, Halloween vibe, and more this is it. Plus each book is a short read which I love too! Definitely recommend!!
Absolutely amazing! I don't know how you come up with your work, but it's absolutely mind-blowing. I love how this ended, I love that she got the revenge her family deserved. I love how the guys got out of the Gang/MC. That Purge night was beyond crazy, I'm glad the ones responsible are no more! One of my favorite lines has to be, "Just nick the artery and let them bleed out." This is why she's one of my favorite mfc!
This was by far my favorite book in the series. I loved how much darker the author went in this book compared to the previous books. It wasn’t a bad series by any means and all three books are short easy reads. In the end everything worked out the way it was supposed to and Cat and her boys got their HEA.
Easton tied up every loose end in a tight, pretty bow with this one. I am truly saddened to see this series end, but also thrilled that they got the ending that these characters deserved.
The revenge factor rang loud and clear in this one as Halloween approaches and the rumors of another purge — but this one is open to all, with no rules. All for the votes per Mayor Coleman. When Catalina and her man are sick and tired of the mayors antics, they only begin to make their plans. Only to have them made easier in a way after the Death Eaters give out their tasks for the purge night.
Catalina grew one shiny backbone in this final novel in the series. Be it with the boys or later on in the novel, she has no problem telling them what’s up and how she feels. We get to see the softer side of Cole, and the side of Nyx on edge concerning the club.
The twists within were great and kept the story going. The flow was great and I honestly had a hard time putting it down once i got into the story. Easton is truly a master with storytelling and a solid plot. This novel, and series, is a fantastic spooky season read for all the best reasons. Even the steamy parts — the payoff in the end? Worth it, I swear.
________ A favorite quote:
“You like to keep everyone at a distance because you’re afraid of being hurt. You hang around the dead because they keep your secrets. Catalina, you might think we don’t pay attention, but you can’t hide from us. We all want to be your boyfriends if that’s what has you worried; we love sharing you.”
I love love love this series and I am so sad to see it come to an end. Catalina & her boys story is one of my absolute favorites! C.L. Easton has a way of captivating you, sucking you in, setting your anxiety on high alert, and melting your heart with her writing.
Onto the book… Strangers of the Crowd *insert swoon*
TALK.ABOUT.CHARACTER.DEVELOPMENT 👏🏼
Literally phenomenal growth in this book. Cole… *chefs kiss* seriously once you read these books you’ll know what I mean!! && Catalina, a perfectly delicious FMC! Nyx & Dorian require no explanation other than make sure you have a drool rag on hand ;)
The Strangers of Eastwood storyline is fantastic. Eastons’ writing does not disappoint! You will be so captivated and then shocked and giddy. Literally all the emotions.
This is the perfect fall/ Halloween read!! Highly recommend!!
Such a perfect ending for this series. I enjoyed this one the most. The plot and story was more put together but still left some unanswered questions.
I like that Cat came into her own with this book and she stood up for herself more. I do wish she would have stuck to her wants and needs a little better just to make those boys sweet a little lol.
All in all I really enjoyed this series. I wouldn’t be mind if Riley got his own book and each of the boys got their own to get more of their backstory before joining to club and even one of Cat before she left for school. I think that would tie everything together more nicely for this series! I would still recommend this series as is though. It was a lot of fun to read!
Holy crap on a cracker!!!! Once I started reading this book I didn't stop!!
Purge night is back again, but oh! so much more gruesome than the last! ANYTHING goes…and more people to do it..YIKES.
We are back with Cole, Dorian, Nyx and Catalina. Catalina is still digging up dead bodies and the boys are still enforcers but they are all starting to think long-term and are unsure what that means for the four of them.
As the past comes knocking again they need to focus on their love for each other and come out on top.
Plenty of spice and the perfect addition to your halloween plans!
There was masked men so there's that Anyways lol...Strangers of the Crowd did a great job of wrapping up all the loose ends and serving as an ultimate conclusion to the series. Aside from the action,I really enjoyed the love between the characters, their growth and dynamic was perfect. The spice of course was an excellent bonus. Again...there were masked men.... Throughout the series, I was really impressed with the way Cat's character developed and grew. I loved the entire series and wish I could read it all over again for the first time.
What a freaking ending to the Strangers of Eastwood series! Way to go CL Easton 👏🧎🏼♀️ I absolutely loved this series and following along with Catalina, Nyx, Dorian, and Cole! The suspense and thrill of this series especially Strangers of the Crowd is amazing! This series hit every single trope that I love from Enemies to lovers, reverse harem, college bully romance AND most importantly the spice throughout 🥵😩🤯🫠
I felt like this book was just a repeat of the second book. I mean I guess some parts were finished but I have so many questions still left that were just looked over. What was the point of all that happened if at the end you don't get answers for the reason why characters did what they did. It left me kind of upset and to know this is the last book was even more upsetting.
How they decided to end all the bad an actually do what they joined the gang for to clean the town was amazing. The execution was flawless and then her family had to try their luck but they didn't think she would be this ruthless when it came to her men and their safety. I loved how she kicked all her brother's butts and then her mom. Her guys couldn't do much but they knew and warned her family but they didn't listen and paid the price
I didn’t want it to be over! Nyx, Cole and Dorian know how to dominate your heart and make you want to start digging up graves so they can find you again. CL Easton has done it again with dragging us into a world that you never want to leave with twists and turns and some sexy sexy masked men! This one is a must read!
This is the end of this series and even finding it late, I am sad it has ended. Cat and her boys have a bit of a struggle to begin, but they work past it. Cole starts to show a new side of himself and I loved it. Their dynamic is greatly written. Cat shows her strength in this book and I adore her even more. The spice is amazing. A great series all in all.
OMFG!!!!! This fucking book was so delicious. DORIAN, NYX and COLE🥵🥵🥵🥵 These men are the most delicious and filthiest men. They had me blushing and giggling like a freaking school girl. I’m telling you my toes were freaking curling especially when it came to Cole and his piercings🥵🥵The way that these men had all the control of Catalina’s body😈
The conclusion of this series was just as wild as the first two books. I didn’t want to put this down until I saw how it all came out. Catalina certainly had her hands full in this one. It was a satisfying conclusion. I’m not going to say anything more because I don’t want to spoil it. Just be ready for the purge!
I love this series so much! All my questions I had from book 2 were answered in such an amazing way!! I love all the guys and can't pick a favorite and I'm so glad she finally because the person she was ment to be and grew a spine!!
This was a great wrap up to the series! The gang is all moved in together but Cat is struggling with her men. They have a lot to work through and things just get so complicated thanks to purge night coming back. A great ending too 🖤
This series is one of my favorites. We learn a little more about the MMCs’ pasts. The spice level is perfect. You see the FMC become a fighter and is strong for those she loves. I would love to see another book and maybe, Riley can get his own story.
A perfect read that matches my vibe. I'm easily sucked in to books like these. Once I start I never want to start. I didn't want this to end though I'm glad to have read it. I couldn't have asked for a better ending.
I loved this book. My only problem is I’m left with unanswered questions. It just kind of ended, there was no closure. Like why didn’t the lawyer contact her if she signed something wrong.
I enjoyed watching Cat and her boys grow in this one. But I think I was expecting more answers.

Another book that is all over the place. It’s not a bad book but it needs some work so that it flows and makes more sense. A lot of times I was confused on when something happens but just let it go for the sake of the overall plot. The spicy scenes were definitely spicy though.
Don't get wrong, I very much liked this series. But I have to agree that this book has some unfinished parts. For one, what banshees to the beneficiary paperwork?
