This was a wonderful and uplifting book, by NT Wright that was written about 30 years ago. Some of the examples or stories provided were a bit out of date, but I am old enough to remember what he was referring to. Even then, each chapter was sufficiently clear that those out-of-date stories did not detract from the message. I have given my highest rating for the book and mean it. However, as a book it is not very good. Rather it is a series of loosely linked chapters, which read as individual (but brilliant) sermons. Since the material came from his talks, the material was considerably more accessible than most of his recent books.
