this is the series about the lawyer who won a big case and doesnt really need to work

he got a client who brought him a gun that was swapped in his collection. he thinks someone is goign to kill someone and frame him

the book got very confusing to me cause i coudlnt follow all of the guns and substitute guns, but i know other people reading it could follow it better than i did

he was very nice in that during the trial when he found out he was going to win, he let the prosecution know so he didnt look foolish when it came out

turned out the butler did do it, not to kill someone but to steal the expensive guns and replace them with fakes. he just killed someone to cover up, tho if he didnt do that he probably would have gotten away with it as no one suspected him-well at least i didnt

i love the stanly hastings series better but it was still good
