A strange book that obviously suffers from being an adaptation from a TV / script. I haven't watched the series and it's difficult to tell what the tone of it would be. I suspect there was humour on the screen but a lot came over as just cynicism in the book. It was an easy read and it drew me in but lacking in depth, and occasionally scenes were hard to follow
