I read this book in just a few days. it doesn't get into the nitty gritty of camping preparation or execution but it brought up great points to consider for planning your next trip. I feel more confident about camping with my kids after reading this book.

I'm not a new camper, and my kids are all grown so most of this didn't apply to me. I did like all the resources they share and their ideas.
