The title says what needs to be said. This has been tested to have the highest Level of Consciousness to covey the New Testament teachings all others are treatments made to suit religious organizations and their controlling habits.

A different translation of the Bible

In John 17:6 Jesus Christ prays for their followers and says that he gave to them the name of His Father.

However, when we read the Gospels from the Greek sources, they don't use the name of God, the Greek scriptures use Kyrios, which is a title Lord, but, this is not the name of God.

My hope was that this Bible, that was translated from a different source addressed and fixed this issue. But, unfortunately, it didn't, it also uses the title Lord, instead of the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

It's just an average Bible translation, that falls short by not praising the name of God.

Literally, "The Good Book of The Gospel" made plain and clarified.

This truly is The Bibliotecca, A Library of Good Books as Scriptural writings translated as close to the original text as possible by George M. Lamsa whose native language was the same as the Aramaic in which the Eastern Orthodox Church has tried to maintain and more fully preserve. This Holy Bible is a collection of writings from a variety of Authors (Including Prophets, disciples, priests, kings, common folk, travelers, strangers, and sorjourners for truth throughout the world. Very interesting translation. In Lamsa, 1 Chronicles 7:22 reads, "And her daughter escaped in upper and lower Beth-horon." The NASB reads, "Their father Ephraim mourned many days, and his relatives came to comfort him."

In Lamsa, 1 Peter 3:7 in part reads, "live with your wives with understanding, and hold them with tenderness like delicate vessels, because they also will inherit with you the gift of everlasting life." NASB, "live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life."

Jeremiah 4:10 in Lamsa reads in part, "Ah, Lord God! I have greatly deceived this people." NASB, "Ah, Lord God! Surely you have utterly deceived this people."

This comparison is not meant to criticize the Lamsa Bible but only to show the differences in these two passages, some very stark differences. There are more differences, not that they change the overall meaning of the passage compared to the NASB, but they are interesting and some provoke a deeper understanding of the text.

Excellent translation from the original Aramaic into English. what drew me in was the interpretation of Matthew 5:22.

"But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire." KJV

in The Peshita it is translated to read the strange word - Raca as I spit upon you (which makes more sense as that is the sound one makes when he or she is about to spit on another) and 'thou fool' was a derogatory name for a gay man. Maybe Evangelicals should heed these words lest they find themselves in danger of hell's fire.

Excellent Bible

This Bible is a direct translation from the language Jesus spoke. I have the hard back Lamsa translation and am really enjoying my electronic copy.
