Wisdom about human traits, inner beings, and behavior is brought forth in these quotes and lessons culled from a variety of classical Zen teachings. Simple and straightforward, this follow-up to Zen Teachings brings the beauty, wisdom, and light of Zen to the fore and guides readers toward finding their inner selves and recognizing truth. Along the voyage to the self-fulfillment and attainment of other goals, these writings provide a comprehensive look at Zen's principles for those interested in increasing their knowledge of Zen philosophy, traveling to the East, or attaining enlightenment.
This book is a sequel to another book in the series about Zen Wisdom. The stories are all less than one page each and the titles of each is the subject of the moral. The way the "chapters" go is you get the background on what was going on when the story was told, then you hear the story, and then you get the moral explained to you...sometimes. It's an okay book, but really nothing special.
