Without question the worst book I have ever read. Even worse than most Amish books that are written by authors who have no knowledge of the Amish way of life. This author should not be writing about women at all. Especially a character who is a 15 year old girl and who gets pregnant and just moves on with her life! No mention of the baby father after that. The sex scenes are embarrassing and Margaret is portrayed as this horrible, shallow, angry, hair trigger shrew. No wonder her husband left her. The focus on her body and looks and that of her best friend is also cringe worthy. There certainly is not the same focus on the body parts of the men. The author must have some pretty bad experiences with women in his life. The writing is clipped and short and terse - like a financial statement. Maybe he could write a book about CPA stuff (because he is one) or financial crimes?

Ugh. Sickeningly sweet, ridiculous characters with a practically non-existent plot.
