I enjoyed reading ten biographies in one book. Many of the people highlighted were familiar to me, but some were not—people like Xi Shengmo, Pandita Ramabai, and Mary MacLeod Bethune.

Each chapter highlights one worldchanger beginning with a story and moving on to more biographical summaries. These are well-researched biographies carefully handled by the author. These people shaped history and I appreciated reading about them from a Christian worldview.

Had this book been available when I was homeschooling my children, I would have assigned it to my 7th-12th graders.

This books is very wonderfully written and easy for young students to follow. The author does a great job of bringing the reader into the life and time period of important figures in the history of the church. This book would work well as a textbook for a homeschool or classroom setting where church history is being studied. I would highly recommend!

These biographies are fascinating and extremely well written. I enjoyed reading this book. The author packs so much information into such a concise account, so that it is easy to read but not dry in any way. It is impossible not to be inspired and challenged by the lives of these people.
