Known as the Party Girl, Alyssa runs a one-woman party-planning service. Business was booming until an underhanded competitor started poaching her clients. A misunderstanding lands her in charge of a bachelor party, a far cry from the tame events she's used to. She has no idea what she's doing, but she's not about to let that stop her. She needs the business, and the reluctant, hunky host is irresistable.

I write what I know and love: adult romance with blue-collar heroes and real-life flavor. Tattoos, handcuffs and men in uniform are a few of my favorite things, and it shows in my thirty+ published books.

I live in the South with my man in uniform, who I married for the entertainment value. Just kidding - it was the handcuffs, err, true love. ;)

So far, our happily ever after includes a couple kids, German Shepherd dogs and a mutual appreciation of timely 'that's what she said' jokes.

When I'm not writing, I love reading, good coffee, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and whatever outdoor adventures I can find.

I also love hearing from readers, so don't be shy! If you've enjoyed something I've written, hearing from you would make my day.

Ranae Rose, Party Girl (Ranae Rose, 2011)

This is exactly what I'm looking for from a Kindle quickie—an actual STORY. Plot! Three-dimensional (well, okay, two-and-a-half dimensional) characters! Interesting situations! Hot, sweaty monkey sex! By far the best of the Kindle shorts I've read this month—maybe even this year. Main characters with insecurities and flaws put into interesting situations, intelligent enough to grasp the sexual attraction but too nervous to do anything about it, rather than just being lunkheaded and not getting it. Great peripheral plot points, some genuine humor. There's nothing to not like about this excpt that it's not a full-length novel. *** ½

Alyssa is losing all her customers to some little company offering deals to her clients for their service instead of hers. She’s hoping not to lose anymore clients when she gets a call from Devin stating he needed a party planner to plan a party for his nephew.. Unbeknownst to Alyssa the party is actually a bachelor party which she has never planned for. But Devin knew of her business cause she had planned parties at the rec center he works at and he was attracted to her as well. Things go fairly well up until the stripper shows up along with the groom to be’s fiancé. But both Devin and Alyssa escape the mayhem that probably ensues before things get started and head to her place where things get heated in a whole new way.

This book is currently available free on Kindle. It is a short self published Novella by Ranae Rose, a writer and lover of racy fiction.

This book tells the story of Alyssa, a party planner running her own company, is suffering a lean time in her business life, due to a bigger party planning company constantly undercutting her prices and poaching her business.

When she gets a phone call from the sexy velvet-voiced Devin Hall, about a booking for his Nephew's party, Alyssa's life suddenly looks a little brighter as she imagines flirting over the chaos of a Spiderman themed room, 5 year olds high on cake cavorting around them....

With a few mishaps and misunderstandings along the way, a shared love of chocolate chunk ice-cream, and a male stripper surprise, this is a thoroughly enjoyable story. It is very racy fiction, but the sex scene is realistic, enticing and has an element of romance running through it. If you are looking for a mini bonk buster type read today, with real-life characters and humour thrown in, then this book is definitely worth a look.

This cute little short story combined two things I think Ranae does well...cute, likeable heroines and hot, sexy heroes. Add in a dash of spice (okay maybe a jar of spice) and it made for an enjoyable experience.

Oh my god, I was definitely not expecting this book to be what it was. But in a good way.
I'm not making any sense, I need sleep.

Nice story, just WAY to short! Not much character development and no real ending.

Don't bother , started off with promise and declined into a fairly boring sex scene covering the last quarter of the book.
