The four rules of freelance villainy are as I've made a good career following the rules and taking on superheroes in scripted fights. But I'd never dreamed it would end up with me dating two stunning supervillainess, getting a household death ray, and having a horny mad scientist living in my basement.
But you roll with the punches in this business. Be it coaching yandere psychics on the art of villainous monologuing, sourcing costumes from busty demonic fashionistas, or taking down a superarms dealers trying to kidnap my mad scientist. One thing's for sure, there's never a dull moment being the bad guy.
Villain for Hire is a humorous adventure through the world of heroes, superpowers, love, and villainy. Featuring nefarious plots, monsters, mecha fights, and demonic dressmakers, this men's adventure is sure to delight.
I like these LOOK, if you cut out all the sex these would still be in the top 5 of all super villain fiction. But don't be too hasty, the sex is pretty hot. Remarkably intelligent and balanced Super Hero-Harem-comedy. The savvy writing is offset by a knowing humor. And the sexiness of the story is complemented by the MC not being a putz. This book deserves a much longer review but I'm distracted reading the next one. These are damn good. just go read it if you like smart, sexy and funny.
This style of book tries to balance respect for the skills and danger of the harem girls against the "innate superiority" of men. This one fails, hard. Every female character is dismissed as a threat or challenge, excluding seduction, both explicitly and implicitly. And the book says that was correct. It is so far beyond my experiences that I can't enjoy the story.
Not too much to say. There were predictable parts, but that's kind of the point. The setting is essentially one filled with classic tropes, to which one would almost be disappointed if they didn't use them.
The smut was good, not the best but solid and having a good enough bit of spice so that having it was still a good choice.
I like especially each book has things involving the ladies' past. They all have their quirks and are slowly bit surely getting fleshed out as actual characters, which is always super important.
I love this type of campy comic book superhero shlock. My only complaint was the super obvious secret assassin reveal. I mean, i can forgive it for being so damn obvious, since this is a story that doesn't take itself too seriously and is heavily influenced by comic books, but for MC to not figure it out until the actual battle started are you effing kidding me? How dumb is that guy? I know, i know, he's a protagonist stuck in a shlocky B-tier story, so i shouldn't expect brilliant deductions, but this was just SO OBVIOUS that it was insulting. It's like ignoring a punch to the face.
I love how much of an impact this story goes, going wild with villainess powers to spicy action 💖 all cool stuff, love it. I Like the MC magneron been cautious at the same time keep up the pace also having his way with sexy bad ass/girls while magneron dominating the show. Finally got the chance to see Carter been part of the action💘. I can’t wait to see more. ☺️👍
This is a really fun series. A bit of corporate superheroes mixed with some serious heroes and villains that play for keeps. Our MC is more of a minor league player by choice, making sure the heroes look good as they thwart his dastardly plans. Looking forward to more in the series.
This was a good book and the ending was a lot better. I look forward to what the house will look like after the remodeling. With a super crazy fangirl, a mad scientist and a slightly twisted physic all trying to put there two cents in. I am thinking metal statue 15ft tall. Lol
I have to say the story keeps getting better. I love the tension between characters, each one is a joy to read. I hope you keep the quality going, because I am so totally hooked. I like harem style books but you have used the genre in my mind. Thanks again for the last chapter I enjoyed the dynamics Apollo much. Thank you for your hard work.... Lol😂
Not as good as the first but still ok. A bit of lazy writing setting up the story line. Stuff like the MC being a little obtuse to make it work. Sex scenes were ok but they were carbon copies of each other. I understand not wanting to leave any girls out but need a little variety. Just copying and pasting a different girls name into a scene isn't really doing it.
Pretty good for a sequel. Not bad. However I didn't like how he keeps being manipulated. He I expected as the main character to be smarter than this. He's not and that's a shame. Still all around good read.
The story is decent but the way female characters are portrayed is so unrealistic and flat-out misogynistic that I can't bother. There's nothing convincing about the relationships (which extends to male relationships, actually).
If you had any appreciation for the first book, you will find all the same virtues here, though with an angle focused on Dolly's character for a the main plot, as well as setup for future arcs
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.
The Villain for Hire series is some seriously good reading. In the top 10 for me so far this year. Definitely worth a look if you're interested in super hero haremlit.
This is a fine urban fantasy harem adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like the mad sheepkin scientist. I anxiously await the sequel.
Probably not a word but perfectly describes how amazing the character, story and world is. Top of the hero genre for sure. Can’t wait for the next one.
