The Pajama Party storyline is iconic, very silly and cute. The ribbon story was super touching and soft and I greatly enjoyed the callback to it later on.

I definitely enjoyed the strong Kurimanju prescence here; it's always a joy to see him living his best life. The idea he had to pass a test in order to drink is funny and kind of wholesome. I'm fascinated by the way Nagano doesn't demonize Kurimanju's drinking habits. Yes he is an alcoholic as apparent for his need of a hair of the dog, but he doesn't display the negative traits of an alcoholic. He simply wishes to enjoy a good meal and drink. Kurimanju is always kind to Chiikawa and friends, sharing his food and even giving them non alcoholic beverages to participate in the fun. He simply has a zest for life, a beautiful desire to experience the world via his taste buds. One must assume he works hard all day to enjoy in his simple carnal pleasures in his off time. I aspire to live as he does.

Final note, the return of the knuckle duster was very cute. I love the yoroi's developing relationship with the gang.

I don't love as many of the storylines in this one as some of the others but it's still all the classic characters I know and love. As fun as ever to read and just when you think you get nagano sensei's tricks he hits you with a curveball. Always fun

I want to add the other versions in Japanese on here. I might try to do that.
