Something in the Rainforest Has Been Waiting

The Olmecs knew things – mysterious secrets and powerful spells. Unbeknownst to modern man, this ancient culture conquered the rainforest’s defense system, enabling the Olmecs to build within the jungle. But while the Old Guardians were once defeated, they never gave up. For millions of years, they have waited for their chance to return and drive away the human invaders.

That time has finally come.

Someone has accidentally deactivated the Olmec’s off switch, and it is humanity against specially evolved dinosaurs.

This seems to start like it is the middle of a story, but bare with it. This is a Wounderful story and I just love the characters and by the end the lesson humans learn. The Narrator does a Great job with the various characters and the Entire Storyline!!

Not too bad…

The bones of this story are very decent but lacks development. If more time had been taken to develop characters and give a little bit more backstory, it would definitely be 41/2 - 5 stars.

Too many characters were thrown into the story without explaining who they were or why they were there. I didn’t know what their goal was so it was a bit confusing trying to set it up myself. When Jeff was introduced, I didn’t know if he was a very smart child or an adult.

But as I said, if the author had developed the characters and story a little more it would’ve been a very good story. Having said that, I must say it was developed enough to keep me interested.

Short but interesting.

It's a short but interesting interesting read, one that snags you from page one, however, you're given very little information about who some of the characters are, where they came from, or any kind of backstory for them.
It does begin to fill in some of those holes right away but not enough to satisfy the reader in me. The book, overall, is a lot like a sandwich with no meat—it will put something in your belly, but it doesn't satiate your hunger.. it only inflames it
Had the author put in the time to make this a full-length novel, it would have made one hell of a book.. even as it is, I couldn’t put it down.. but there was just so little of it. And that abrupt ending? Not cool.
If you're looking for a short, interesting, science fiction story to read in-between books or tasks, this is one to consider.. but Beware the Cliffhanger.

awesome

I thought it was a full book but it cut off. Anyway, it is very neat, I love the idea of the reset on planet Earth. Make a great movie of Hollywood you would get off dead ass.

A good short read. Earth has been reset back to the age of the dinosaurs. This is the first book in the series.

This was a very good story. I felt a lot of deja vu at the beginning but it was a truely original story. Steve Conner was a very good narrator.I was given this code free for an honest review.

Review of this book.

Interesting to say the least. We need to respect the planet. This is a good lesson. We should heed it. I enjoyed this novella.
