I am humbly asking Kim & Meg for Bishop's hand in marriage...please. And Cross, Walker and River's hands in marriage too. I adore them all.
This series was such a wild ride, quite literally. Deadly Debt continued after that (terrible!!!!) cliffhanger, with River's men getting ready to save her.
I knew they would, and that we'd get a happy ending and all of that, but the tension was still there. I couldn't breathe until she and the guys were all safe and sound.
And when they were the sparks were flying (and some other things too *wink wink*), we got so much steam, I think even more than in the past two books. What really made those scenes for me is the banter during, and how the guys worked so well together to bring River pleasure. A+ from me!!
My favourite moment, was Gigi's Mate Games reference. I was listening to the audio, heard what she said and I was going "no wayyyyy", I was 100% not expecting that, but it made my whole day.
I'm also looking forward to Gigi's own potential series, I have a feeling it's going to be amazing.
I need to force my friends to read Twisted Cross Ranch, because Walker, Cross and Bishop are the most perfect book boyfriends, you really can't get any better than this (except maybe Nord from another series, but I am biased).
Like, if you're not reading this series you are missing out and you need to fix that ASAP. The books are short, bingeable, addictive, with well-developed characters, excellent steam, an engaging storyline, and a stellar cast of narrators (if you choose the audio version, which I'll always recommend).
Twisted Cross Ranch is one of my favourite series, not just this year, but ever, going into my all time favourites hall of fame. It really is THAT good. So LISTEN TO ME AND GO READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audio Review:
Buckle up and hold on to your hats because Deadly Debt is the spicy, suspenseful, action packed ending to the Twisted Cross Ranch series that we all deserve! I sat down and devoured this audiobook in sitting while I was at work, and let me just tell you that there were multiple times that I just stopped in the middle of work and listened because I was so engrossed in listening that I forgot what I was doing. Which really is a true testament to not only the authors but also the narrators.
To say that I have been impatiently waiting for this book would be an understatement. We were left with a hell of a cliffhanger at the end of Corruptor’s Claim and to say that I was worried for River would be putting in mildly. But never fear, because that woman has a backbone of steel and has more strength in her little toe than most people do in their entire body. Add in the character growth that the men go through in this book alone and this audiobook was just flat out unstoppable. No, seriously, I couldn’t push pause until the book was over with.
As usual Stella Hunter, JF Harding, Jason Clarke, and Aaron Shelock do a phenomenal job narrating this book. The depth that they give these characters along with the shear emotion is enough to keep you completely entranced from beginning to end. And what they bring to those spicy times? Whew, let’s just say that I was definitely having to fan myself during those moments.
I absolutely loved this series from start to finish. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…if K. Loraine and Meg Anne write something together, I’m going to read it! If you want an action packed series full of intrigue, suspense, and spice, then look no further than the Twisted Cross Ranch series…you won’t be disappointed!

Deadly Debt the conclusion of The Twisted Cross Ranch series starts off with a bang and ends that way too...
**If you are reading this review or thinking about reading this book, you better back up and read book one Sinner's Secret and book two Corruptor's Claim before you dive in because this series must be read in order and this review might contain spoilers. **
From the moment this series started Cross, Walker and Sterling have only ever wanted to keep River safe. All the bickering and arguing about who can do it better is tested when River ends up in the hands of the one man who could ruin all three of them in one fell swoop.
Kim and Meg really tested my patience this go around because at one point or another I wanted to strangle all of River's men and then bring them back to clean up the mess.
Cross though really got me this time. My love for him had been wavering but now it is solid because that man stopped at nothing to keep their girl safe. Then Jason Clarke, good lord in heaven that man's growls should be illegal or in the very least come with a warning label!
Sterling Bishop gravy on toast that man!! He was kind of the hidden gem through all of this because at every turn he was exactly the big broody cowboy he said he wasn't and that was so endearing. Then the way he sacrificed literally everything not just for River but for the boys as well. Total swoon moment! J.F. Harding doesn't play when it comes to cowboys and he really amped up the delicious for this one.
Then the king of my heart in narration goes to Aaron Shedlock for his narration for the sweet golden retriever that is Walker Cross. You know, you don't know how much those sweet boys are willing to risk until everything they love is threatened.
Lastly, River! Goodness! That girl went through the ringer, and she never faltered at being the strong heroine Kim and Meg always deliver. Seriously, I loved the boys but if I had to pick it would be River all day long. No offense boys! Stella Hunter really brought her to life, and you can't forget that she does the entire female cast!!
The ending though... the epilogue! I couldn't have asked for a better ending for River *wink wink* but I do hope we haven't seen the last of this world because I know I am going to want some more outlaw cowboys Kim and Meg style!!

And the ride continues! After we are left hanging at the end of Corruptor’s Claim, we pick up again with River’s men ready to find her. It is another book I could not put down; the suspense and action held my attention, and the steam is off the charts. I love River’s strength; it is no secret I am drawn to kick a$$ female characters, and she never wavers throughout the series.
The Twisted Cross series is one not to miss and must be read in order! It is now complete for those who cannot wait between books.

(audiobook) After two books creating a dense and violent world, maybe I was expecting too much, and I felt a bit let down.
Not by much though. The romance kept me on edge until the end. The authors managed to give each male character the closure they needed to be fully involved in their relationship with River, and that was beautiful. I loved how they accepted that River loved them all, period. And how they accepted to share her, because she needed all of them. It’s kind of an obligatory element in a reverse harem, that doesn’t mean it’s always written well. Here, by offering each love interest his own intimate moment with River, the authors did great.
That acceptance is also a turning point for all of them, including River. They truly become a… fourple? In all aspects of their life together. It was a beautiful conclusion.
I was less thrilled with how the suspense was dealt with. The previous book left us with a great cliffhanger, and I was excited with how it would be resolved. But this book starts with a lot of waiting, then some kind of deus ex machina event, and in the end River barely needed to be helped.
Okay, maybe that was the best part of this. We saw River as independent in the previous books, but with the kidnapping, she became a pawn in a game she had no interest in. She had to take back the control of her life, and the authors understood the assignment. Please keep making strong female characters.
They also understand their readers, and there’s a great cameo *wink wink*. It’s interesting to see all their works–together and solo–connected in some way.
The narration–including the cameo–was again perfect. There were a lot of emotional scenes, for all characters, and they all did amazingly well. All in all it’s a very good trilogy that must be enjoyed in audio.

Saddle up and hold on to your hat, darlin’, you’re in for an epic ride. After being left with that mindf*ck of a cliffhanger in book two, I am happy to report River is now safely back with her guys. I loved how the authors brought up Mate Games. My biggest complaint is the series is over ☹️
I would love to see more written in this world. Possibly a book written around Rivers firecracker of a best friend, Gigi? 🤔

Deadly Debt is relatively low on the spice rating but high in the drama, mystery, betrayal and secrets. I am knocking it down a star because THIS particular book, while good, did not seem to match the writing I know they are capable of.

**Audiobook Review**
Whoa, darlin! What a ride this series was and it consumed me in the best possible ways. “Deadly Debt” is an action packed, steamy and thrilling end to the Twisted Cross Ranch series.
Picking up right where the last book left off, the guys are working on getting River back after she was kidnapped by a Russian Mafia leader. The guys will stop at nothing to get River back and bring her back safely to the ranch.
This series has been such an amazing listen and this audiobook was a fantastic finish. I loved how much stronger River emerged at the end of the story. She went through some horrible things and was able to overcome them. Each guy grew so much and I loved each of them right along with River. Cross is grumpy and work focused but his love for River shines though. Walker is the comedic relief needed and helps keep things light when it would start to get a little dark. Bishop worked so hard to overcome his past and become the man he was meant to be. The steamy scenes were delicious including those last couple ones. I’m hoping we got a hint about a possible upcoming series and I can’t wait.
Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding and Aaron Shedlock were phenomenal in narrating this story in duet. I loved being able to hear each of them bring this story to life. Each brought all the passion to their performances. I hope we get more from this amazing group of narrators bringing Meg Anne and K. Loraine’s words to life soon.

Omg why is it over?! I need more of these characters and more of this world! It may have been 3 books, but they could have been so much longer…honestly the authors did an incredible job with the length, plot, characters, spice and overall progression of the story. Nothing was ever to much or to little, I’m just greedy and want more! I so hope to see more from the world in the future!
Again the audio was incredible and the bloopers at the end were hysterical!

I just really like corrupt cowboys and morally grey mountains of men okay

Stella Hunter gives River that perfect balance of she’s hurting, but she’s not broken. Jason Clarke as Cross with that southern accent is raw, guilt-ridden, and intense in a way that hits deep. Aaron Shedlock nails Walker’s humour, and calmness with that undercurrent of “don’t mess with what’s mine.” And J.F. Harding as Bishop? Well I'll be damned! His voice is smooth, steady, and lethal.
The full cast is amazing. Everyone sounds distinct, the emotions are dialled in, and the tension bleeds through every scene. Highly recommend going audio for this one.

Everything that had been simmering over the last two books finally goes off. It’s messy and violent and the end is oh so satisfying....sort of...*see note below*.
There were moments that made me clutch my Kindle, but there were also moments that made me pause the audio just to scream "WTF?!".
I love that River doesn’t sit in the passenger seat of her own story. She fights, she feels, she chooses. And the men are jot, capable, and completely obsessed with her in the best way.
*Note: so I downloaded the bonus scene at the end of the book fully expecting it to be nothing but pure, blissful smut. Um excuse me Meg Anne and K.Loraine, but WTF IS WITH THE CLIFFHANGER?! How?! How can you do that to me? WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?!

Holy hot mama! Excuse me, while I pour a bucket of ice water all over me. This was probably my most favorite book in the series. I had the absolute pleasure of getting advanced copy of this audiobook, and I am so grateful for it. Book 2 left off on such a soul crushing cliffhanger that I couldn’t wait to dive into book 3.
I don’t wanna give too much weight for this book because it is the last book in the series, so I’ll just say that this is one suspenseful, action, packed, and gut wrenching in the series. And I absolutely loved every second of it. These two authors are such a great duo. They really know how to write such a great story from beginning to end. This entire series really kept me on my toes, had such well thought out main and even side characters, and the story overall was so invigorating. I am immensely sad that this series is now over and I’m not quite sure what to do with my life now. I know I sound so dramatic, but it’s true 😭🤣 I really hope that Gigi will get her own book (or series 🤞🏻), she’s such a spitfire and I’d love to read her story.

Deadly Debt by K. Loraine and Meg Anne is a dark cowboy mafia why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, and J.F. Harding. This is the third and final book in the Twisted Cross Ranch series.
I absolutely love Kim and Meg's books and when you make them into an audiobook with this cast, you can't help but become obsessed with them. They did a great job wrapping up the series. I loved the relationship that bloomed between River, Walker, Daniel, and Bishop. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I do have to note that I loved the reference to The Mate Game series. Especially with the audiobook and referencing the narrator who played those characters when it was recorded.
Stella, Jason, Aaron, and J.F. did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

One of the best why choose series with a wicked twist! Our leading lady and her men fight to the end in this highly anticipated final installment ( for now ) maybe ! Kim and Meg throw some nods and a very special someone as a treat !
River is one tough cookie and I must say she is exactly what Cross , Walker and Bishop need in their lives . I hate it when the leading lady is weak but River oh hell no she is a tough as nails . The lies and deceit come full circle and several WTF moments and a huge heart break but The Cross brothers along side Bishop stand tall and come out guns blazing .
We see vulnerable moments that you probably don’t expect from Cross but deep down he is all mush when it comes to River ! Bishop however very much like Cross has that strong alpha male dominance perfection how in the world does she handle those two. But she does .. and Walker Wayne oh my this guy stole my heart he is lethal but gentle , sex on stick who will give River his last breath in his body if she needed it .
This series is probably one of the best I ever listened to this year . The play on Yellowstone with dark secrets and second chances . This is one series you don’t want to miss . The narrators

Excellent trilogy. This picked right up f/book 2 & was fast paced right to the end. I loved getting the group scene in the end, I wished we’d gotten a little more of that sooner! It was HOT.
This has been a fantastic read. I read book 1 when it first came out & was blown away by it. I knew there was no way I could continue this series until all 3 books released, so I reread book 1 again & couldn’t stop reading until I ended book 3. I read all 3 in 1 day! It’s that good! I loved the mix of cowboy & mafia- only in this trilogy the mafia men are the real bad guys! Throw in all the dangers, threats, secrets & spice, & this was one addicting read!
I’m excited for more f/this universe. I’d love to see Gigi, Jackson & Ransom get a story. There was already serious sexual tension between Gigi & Jackson, but I also sensed a little something w/Ransom too!

Deadly Debt is the third book in the Twisted Cross Ranch series. Hold on tight to the reins with this story as it is a wild ride, but in the best way with all the bucking you can handle. This book concludes this fantastic series and it does it in a spectacular way with Bishop and River. I would recommend that the books are read in order as their is an overarching story-line which will have you reading late into the next day, or all night long. I thoroughly enjoyed this conclusion to the series and would recommend the series to other readers.

Audiobook Review: Ommmgggg!!! This series was so freaking good. Has me wanting my own mafia cowboy harem. Deadly Debt was action packed, spicy, and hilarious! I definitely enjoyed me some Cross brothers and a dirty talking Sterling. The jokes and banter were so funny and I absolutely loved how hard the “touch her and die” trope went in this book! Oh and the Mate Games references!! Ahhh, I internally squealing! And the surprise cameo!!
As ALWAYS 👏 Stella, JF, Jason, and Aaron put in an outstanding audio performance. The accents and attitudes were freaking perfect!

Omg this series was amazing I love the duet of voices
I think even better was that licked with the mate games with Asher and when he best friend sound bout the books the Irish priest wolf and Norse God they all where the same voice that did them characters
I also love JC cowboy texis voice just as much as his Irish accent 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

The conclusion is here and it is fast and sexy and satisfying. After the cliffs they left us on we dived right in. I can not get enough and this series will be getting another read through. No waiting this time, I’m taking on all three audiobooks next.

I enjoyed this trilogy but I wasn’t very attached to the characters or their romance. It just didn’t feel super well developed. It didn’t hook me like The Mate Games series did.
