First of all, I have to say that this book is an absolute masterpiece. From the first page, I was completely drawn into the world of Utarid, and I couldn't put the book down until I had finished it.

The story is full of action, intrigue, and heart-pumping suspense. The main character, Ghazi, is a true hero in every sense of the word. He is brave, intelligent, and fiercely loyal to his people. Watching him navigate the complex political landscape of Utarid was truly captivating.

One of the things that I loved most about this book was the world-building. The author has created a rich and detailed world, full of fascinating cultures, religions, and traditions. It was so easy to get lost in the world of Utarid and forget that I was reading a book.

The writing itself is also fantastic. The prose is beautiful and poetic, and the dialogue is sharp and witty. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the banter between characters.

Overall, I cannot recommend Royal Tornadoes: Ghazi Of Utarid highly enough. It is an epic tale of adventure and heroism, set in a world that is both fantastical and believable. Aha! Finally a new series to satisfy those fantasy cravings! The fact that it's set in like an alternate Persian kingdom makes for a real cultural experience - for me, coming from an Asian background, I loved the elements that felt like home- and what back home might have looked a bit like a long time ago. Apart from that, the magic, the Sultan and the Royal court and it's mysteries and the wonderful friendships were also a highlight. Did I mention the Rumi-esq poetry dotted through the book! the poetry really elevates the prose from run of the mill fantasy to something more meaningful. I can't wait to see what Ghazi and his mates have in store for them next! Bring on book 2!

This was a brilliant read overall. I went in expecting a relatively simple story line only to be completely blown away by the author's masterful storytelling. Packed with tension, strong themes of talking truth to power, and some stunningly profound poetry (which I absolutely loved!), this book leaves you with no choice but to root for Ghazi and his small band of unassuming rebels in their quest for justice.

An amazing story, a book for all ages. Once you start reading, you don’t want to put it down until the end. The story is well knit and has lot of twists like Dickens ‘David Copper Field’ has a lot of twists in the story.
