A comprehencive reference on prometheus. For me the most interesting part was a historical perspective of it in the market of monitoring tools and the book does this work very well. It explains the different approaches in different tools to collect data for monitoring and where Prometheus stands in it.

Unfortunatelly mine review is not right because Prometheus is too universal and too big for our need and therefore I doesn't read it so pationatelly.
